Duodo Palace Hotel

Location is perfect, close to main historical places of Venice (5-10 mins walk maximum). Direct access to the doorsteps by a water taxi from the VCE airport! Clean room. Friendly and helpfull staff (provided us with maps and all information).

Lack of good ventilation system (supply of fresh air) in the room, had to open windows for all night (strange for a 4* hotel) to breathe, room is really very tiny (basic budget(!) double room) for its price. Breakfast is strangely poor, 4* hotel in Italy must have better and more various food (fresh juice, fresh bread, fruits and etc) . Wi-Fi is too expensive (3eur for 20 mins). Overall id rate it as 3 stars. Needs to improve a little to be a real 4*.

The concierge Massimo was extremely helpful to us. We needed to make reservations for the next leg of our trip in Italy on unfortunately short notice and he contacted hotels in two different locations that we had the phone numbers for on our behalf and set up our stays in each. We had concerns about trying to make arrangements ourselves over the phone in English and were reassured that with Massimo's fluency in English that he understood our needs and would be able to convey them accurately since we unfortunately have very limited fluency in Italian. We also enjoyed the hotel's centralized location and their breakfast.

Their shower, like many European showers we encountered, was to short for tall people.

Good location as walking distance from San Marco pier and San Marco square, however quite deep inside the island so anyone coming here should have a very clear map from a landmark. We stayed in a double room which was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean with new fixtures as well. Reception staff friendly and helpful, although the waiter serving breakfast could have smiled and been more friendly.

Wireless should be free (it is a standard amenity now), buffet breakfast was average and should have more options for example "eggs".

Location was excellent for walking to landmarks and monuments. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.

There was only one working electrical outlet in the entire room to plug in electronics and it was not near any mirrors.

Das Hotel hat unseren Vorstellungen entsprochen. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend.

Das Hotel ist etwas schwer zu finden, der Weg dorthin müsste besser beschrieben sein.

la localisation de l'hôtel est son point fort, en plein centre de Venise. ersonnel parlant un bon français.

rapport qualité prix moyen car comme tout à Venise, c'est très cher.

Que en el desayuno no estuviera incluido los huevos o los zumos naturales.

La tranquillità, il comfort della stanza, la cortesia del personalene la posizione centrale rispetto alle piazze principali della città

La qualità della colazione al mattino potrebbe essere migliorata.

Reception molto gentile, abbiamo prenotato una basic e ci hanno dato una camera vista canale! Molto bello! Camere ben tenute, ristrutturato recentemente, pulito. Molto suggestivo l'entrata dal canale e abbiamo molto apprezzato il taxi-boat offerto per la visita a Murano.

Alla sera il canale emana odori non piacevolissimi dovuti alla bassa marea...ma questo non è colpa dell'Hotel!!

Increible el hotel. Sumamente recomendable.
