The bar and restaurant are under separate management - for the short term. It needs some investment in order to provide even better facilities such as pool side snacks and drinks. The new hotel manager and his staff are aware of this and were keen to listen and share their plans for next season's redevelopment to bring the bar in line with the high standard of the hotel accomodation and services.
All previous reviews post June 2015 should be ignored or reconsidered as this new management team are serious and professional .

The staff in this hotel are outstanding. The new manager, Emmanuele who is brilliantly assisted by Tunde, have clearly brought about a total transformation in the 2 months they have been in position and his team seem totally enthusiastic and hard working.
The junior suite was excellent. Wifi worked almost everywhere and with full strength.
The breakfast is substantial with choice of cereal, breads, eggs and bacon, yoghurt,
cakes as well as coffee and tea. The service at breakfast time is top class.
The swimming pool is perfectly clean and there was never any problem with having a sunbed - no matter what time of the day you arrive at the pool. This was a first in all my travels.
The reception staff are terrific- polite, friendly and always helpful. Alessandro can speak many languages and was a gentleman when we asked for information or assistance during our stay.
We arrived in August with some anxiety based on previous reviews. However, we received an email before our departure from the new manger and he communicated to is that the hotel was under new management and wished to assure us of a pleasant and comfortable stay. He was correct!!
