Hotel Eden

The free use of hotel computer and internet was a very gratifying perk! The continental breakfast was generous and varied. There was always someone on duty to answer questions, etc. although not every staff person spoke English. The hotel was very small, occupying only the 3rd floor of a not too large building. When I encountered a train strike, the very competent person on duty was able to find a way for me to get to the next place on my itinerary within an hour, saving me much angst!

The door handle inside the bathroom of my room (a single) would simply not turn, and led me to believe I was locked in. When it became necessary for me to bang on walls in an effort to be heard, (because the pull cord apparently did not work), a response was slow in coming. Tho the staff person opened the door with little problem from outside, she never tried the inside door knob, which barely worked at all. It would not have been a problem for two persons staying in the room, of course...as one could rescue the other. This was an unforgettable and embarrassing experience, especially since the ruckus I caused probably awakened all the other hotel guests! I feel that a door knob so reluctant to turn ought to be replaced.

The hotel is very well situated so you can walk to all the places of interest and has an excellent restaurant next door as well of numerous bars,in fact ideally situated for people to explore eat and drink, and its very good value for money

Good location inside the city walls. Recently decorated. Clean and tidy. has moved from a 2 star to an excellent 3 star. Excellent reception - lovely family.

Hotel razonablemente cómodo y muy bien situado, junto a una de las principales plazas de la ciudad.

Buffet de desayuno mejorable en cuanto a variedad y comodidad..

Stilig utsmykking på rommet og i frokostsalen. I frokostsalen små, runde bord og puffer. "Frokosten" stilig oppstilt. Et moderne, ungt preg. Vakre,skarpe farger. Flotte bilder. Stor og god seng. Ble i godt humør.

L'exiguïté de la salle de bain. Les difficultés pour garer la voiture.

Zeer goed gelegen om vanuit het hotel de historische binnenstad te bezoeken. Alles op minimale wandelafstand van het hotel. Zeer rustig.

War weinig plaats voor het ontbijt, en met de (huur)wagen geen plaats om te parkeren tenzij je een plaats huurt in de buurt aan €15. Deze is dan wel ok met service maar best op voorhand te bestellen in het hotel.
