great location pool was open nice staff good bathrooms location
the bed was the worst i have ever slept in. the room was very basic and uninviting
Good location - quiet but convenient for town centre. Very nice gardens and pool area. Room clean and well presented. All in all very good - would stay again.
Absolutely loved the location and the friendliness of most of the staff which more than made up for any shortcomings. They were very accommodating with our requests and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
It wasn't a case of not liking anything but we just felt that a little more effort with the breakfast area and the food could have been made. The breakfast room was quite spacious but totally lacked any character at all, which is a shame as breakfast is just as important as any other meal of the day. A few flowers on the table, some light background music and the waiters could have definitely been more friendly, in fact they were definitely surly bordering on aggressive. Tables weren't cleared away and there was no welcoming feeling when you arrived for your breakfast. These little touches would have made a whole difference to the start of our day.
had a great big bathroom, very clean and modern. Great view!!
Very clean, nice view ( we had a room with terrace), spacious bathroom.
the location and the beautiful view on the see and the Vesuvius
the matras of the bed was to hard
The location fr the piazza..the Bay of Naples and Mt Vesuious outlook..good bright breakfast room and variety of breakfast food...pool facilities .. and has a handy back entrance to shops supermarket next steet back ....just beware of the old fella trying to slip u a big beer and charging a hefty price apart from that.....place justifys its Booking .com grading etc
Very quiet for excellent sleep Great location Nice pool Excellent clientele Good breakfast
The room was clean and comfortable , and it was located close to the centre.of town and in walking distance to the train station , it was a good hotel to stay at for the price
Location was perfect-close to central Sorrento, rail station and the main square but was quiet despite this. Parking was useful. Room recently renovated. Would stay here again
Breakfast was fairly basic, fruit mainly consisted of tinned fruit salad. Not much storage for clothes if staying for a long period
Excellent Location is a few minutes from downtown Sorrento in a quiet neighborhood. Excellent restaurant and pool right on property. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Very small bathroom. Lighting in room not really friendly for office work or reading. Had to pay Euro 3 for 30 minutes of wi-fi.
Location and view.
Customer service and top firm mattress.
Stayed here for three nights bed an breakfast but wish we could have stayed longer. It's the perfect location, two minutes walk from the main square and train station. Breakfast was very nice and there was a good selection. The owner and staff were very polite and could not have been nicer. We will definitely stay again. I agree with other posters when they say go for a superior room - it's definitely worth it for the view!
Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely grounds and terrific pool. Discount at restaurant - good food.
Wifi wasn't much good. Even in the lobby we had difficulty.
View great (though probably only from 4 or 5 rooms on the 5th floor) Breakfast OK. Great central location.
Incredibly dated throughout, very basic rooms - something more expected from a 2 star motel. Poor standard and detail of cleaning. Overpriced for what it is though Sorrento hotels are quite expensive.
Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room with a fabulous view across Naples Bay. Quiet location despite being very close to Sorrento centre. Good breakfast. Wonderful taxi ride to the airport in one of the more refined E-Class merecde cars. Good pool facility, which we were allowed to use even though we had checked out.
Only down side was the very thin wall between us and a somewhat noisy neighbour who insisted on scrapping a chair across the floor! However, we did get a good rest betwen 11pm and 7 am. Having spent a week in a very good hotel in Bomerano (Amalfi), for less than a quarter of the price of this hotel, the value for money was good rather than excellent.
Its all plus's really, been trying to convert my wife to Italian Holidays or breaks, and she loved the hotel
Good location Helpful Staff Good breakfast Large rooms
Uncomfortable beds Lift extremely slow
Staff, location and restaurant were very good.
Room size and toilet were very small.
Great location, cleanliness and the friendliness.
Location was ideal with the secret passageway onto the Main Street. Pool was lovely too and food and drink served poolside. Room was basic but super clean and modern.
Wifi was very poor. Breakfast was very basic.
Very friendly and helpful very convenient to town small but nice pool Garden resturant, very pleasant and fair menu service very good drink prices reasonable for italy. Set away from road so fairly quiet
accomodation, well our room very basic, small, no wardrobe, few cupboards for clothes ,small hard beds, cigerette burns in duvet ,no coffee or tea, but clean and nice view Breakfast choices not varied. Other rooms may be better! Good shower but no bath
Location, location, location. Restaurant at hotel was very good!
Room was very small and the it was very difficult to get in and out of the shower because it was so small/narrow (and we are average size).
Even though it was very central, it was very quite. Nice pool and gardens.
The fact you had to pay for wifi.
Location The Rooms were bright Very Clean Hotel Swimming Pool
The Bed (Hard -2 singles pushed up together = a double v poor - The charge for the WiFi - Staff continually pestering you buy drinks.- Breakfast offering was 1 star not 3 (tinned fruit) Pool area too small for the no of guests, too few loungers. Rude and arrogant staff in adjoining restaurant.
