Hotel Eira  

The staff and services are excellent! I felt I have a personal manager who takes care about my staying in the place. Thank you! Breakfast was normal for its price. Wonderful view from a window - the Alps!

Location! I read in booking.com the hotel is close to ski lift, it's true, but the hotel is on a mountain and you must go down from a really high top or go along a street, it takes about 20 - 25 minutes walking. If to rent a car the hotel is perfect, but walking it's really far from the city and ski lift.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and breakfast was average.

This was an excellent hotel for my husband and I to stay over the Christmas holiday. The room was fairly standard with a double bed, private bathroom with small shower and a balcony looking out to the mountains. However, these standard accommodations were pushed to excellent due to the amazing service at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Although we only speak English and a little German, one of the employees who spoke English was always willing to help us figure things out. The first day the owner actually drove us in his car to the ski rental place and we enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant for Christmas dinner where they had actually translated the special Christmas menu for us into English. I can not say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff at this hotel were, it makes me want to go back to Italy soon! The hotel is located on the hill overlooking the town of Bormio and although you have to walk about 10 minutes to get to the center of town including the ski lift up the mountain (unless you just hop on the slope and ski there which is only about a 1-2 min walk down the road), the view and the proximity to the Bormio ski slopes was great. The first day we skied, we actually jumped off the ski run before returning to the Bormio 2000 gondola and only had to walk about 2 minutes up the hill to get to the hotel. Overall, we were very impressed with our stay at this hotel.

I would highly recommend this hotel, particularly to travelers who don't mind walking a bit to get from place to place.

La cucina del ristorante, tradizionale locale ....deliziosa. Barbara e Nicola e gli altri membri dello staff per la loro disponibilità... Uno dei piumini più caldi in cui si possa dormire.... una splendida mansarda!!!

la tv non andava...ma non ne avevamo bisogno.... qualche gocciolina dalla finestra mentre pioveva.
