Hotel Eira  

This was an excellent hotel for my husband and I to stay over the Christmas holiday. The room was fairly standard with a double bed, private bathroom with small shower and a balcony looking out to the mountains. However, these standard accommodations were pushed to excellent due to the amazing service at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Although we only speak English and a little German, one of the employees who spoke English was always willing to help us figure things out. The first day the owner actually drove us in his car to the ski rental place and we enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant for Christmas dinner where they had actually translated the special Christmas menu for us into English. I can not say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff at this hotel were, it makes me want to go back to Italy soon! The hotel is located on the hill overlooking the town of Bormio and although you have to walk about 10 minutes to get to the center of town including the ski lift up the mountain (unless you just hop on the slope and ski there which is only about a 1-2 min walk down the road), the view and the proximity to the Bormio ski slopes was great. The first day we skied, we actually jumped off the ski run before returning to the Bormio 2000 gondola and only had to walk about 2 minutes up the hill to get to the hotel. Overall, we were very impressed with our stay at this hotel.

I would highly recommend this hotel, particularly to travelers who don't mind walking a bit to get from place to place.

Unbeatable location for the ski slopes and friendly, helpfull staff. Skied straight out of the hotel. Nice town and great for winter sports.

The rooms were nice and clean and some with a balcony overlooking Bormio. After a discount use of the hot spa pools in Town and a plesant stroll back, then a very nice meal in the hotel restruant and some complimentary grappa as a nightcap we had a great nights sleep! Thenks again for the hospitality!

Convenient, friendly, affordable, uncomplicated

The best 2-stars hotel I have ever visited. Better than many 3 and 4-stars hotels. Very comfortable, clean. Staff are very hospitable . Breakfasts... Uuuu... tasty, fresh.

Hotel molto buono, pulito, staff molto cordiale. Sono stata un giorno ai bagni vecchi e la posizione dell'hotel è molto comoda. Se avrò occasione ci ritornerò sicuramente!

Gentilezza del personale

L'hotel è molto carino e vicinissimo alle piste (si può scendere con gli sci direttamente alla partenza della cabinovia). Le stanze sono spartane ma confortevoli e pulite, Lo staff è davvero gentile e mi ha stupito per la cordialità e per tutte le informazioni che ci ha dato su sci, terme e su come muoversi.

Unica nota negativa è che in camera c'era davvero troppo caldo.

Hotel comodo, economico, pulito, si trova in una buona posizione e lo staff è sempre gentile, lo consiglio.

Un po' di sale nel parcheggio delle auto non sarebbe guastato.
