Just 300 metres from Erice Castle, Antico Borgo Erice is set on the main street of this historic town. This characteristic stone building offers rooms and an apartment, each with a TV and a balcony.
Score from 57 reviews Very good
Set right by Erice's ancient town walls and 220 yards from the cathedral, Il Carmine is a former monastery dating back to 1423. It offers large rooms with free Wi-Fi.
Score from 336 reviews Very good
Erice Pietre Antiche offers air-conditioned apartments and a sun terrace in the center of Erice village, a 20-minute drive from the coastal resort of Trapani.
Score from 248 reviews Exceptional
Admire the view across the terracotta rooftops of Erice from the roof terrace at Hotel Moderno; a special place to enjoy breakfast and a cocktail at sunset.

Restaurant was not the best
Lovely staff greeted us to help take our bags to the hotel and aid in getting a parking pass for our stay. Large room and washroom with a very comfortable bed.
The dining room has a beautiful view at breakfast time. However the breakfast while adequate, seemed more American Hampton Inn than Italy.
Perfect for a half day visit
The town has not taken care of its potential and it almost feels like you went to a deserted alp village in the 70's. Not suited for people with any walking disability since the streets are steep and slippery (even when they are dry). Also the restaurants were not impressing.
Wonderful welcome on arrival, asked if we would like water and were then brought a 1.5 litre bottle!Reception staff gave v helpful info about the town. Good choice of meats/cheeses/fruit/pastries for breakfast and fab view from the windows of restaurant. Lovely 'snug' with comfy sofas and a library of books to borrow and lovely rooftop terrace. Despite it being only 5 mins walk to the cable car, the young man on checkout desk insisted on arranging for his colleague to drive us down there with our bags.
restaurant décor perhaps looking a little tired and gloomy; would recommend asking for room with view of sun terrace, or towards the sea - ours was just looking at next door's wall
Antonio at the front desk is a treasure to this hotel.
Service was excellent and very accommodating. Provided map and help with parking. Highly recommend location and town.
They graciously parked our car in the terrifyingly narrow streets of Erice.
The breakfast was rubbish.
the people were great and very accomodating in fact they helped us a great deal.
the first room which we booked for 60 euros was stinky horrific and we had to upgrade our room to 120 euros. so, i do not know if this is the norm and they get you when you check in with that smelly stinky room or not.
If you are planning to stay in Erice proper Elimo is the perfect spot. Although driving in the town itself when finding Elimo is not for the faint of heart just consider it part of the Sicilian experience. Tip; the smaller the car the easier you will breathe. Parking also has its surprises but nothing that detracts from the overall stay. The staff was super helpful and having one of Erice's best restaurants on the premises made for an easy evening out of the two we spent there.
Probably the smallest shower stall I have ever encountered. If turning around is a must take 2 showers.
Excellent location, very helpful staff.
This place ROCKS.
The informal lounge with lovely furnishings, books and paintings. This was a relaxing place to sit in after dinner.
Our room was internal facing and quite dark/gloomy. It may have been the 'runt of the litter' with possibly other rooms having better light/views.
Alberto, the manager was very personable and helpful. Our quiet room with a view. The distinctive decore and the cozy atmosphere. The cuisine in the restaurant was delicious.
Location was excellent and staff we're helpful with car parking.. I realise that not too many people actually stay in Erice and perhaps this has made the residents a bit complacent..
Everything about the hotel was dated...as in poor 80's decor...and shabby. Pressure in the shower was poor and towels were, while clean, grey and over washed. The breakfast was terrible...no fresh juice..packets of everything and a tired looking tart... At this price €121 they would need to up their game...
The staff was very helpful and offered to park our car in a different location when they found out that we left it in the regular car park.
WiFi in the room would have been nice because the weather was bad when we were there.
Restaurant staff (Alex) was super nice. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The location was excellent and the room was very comfortable.
I have nothing negative to say about Hotel Elimo.
Excellent staff who helped us find parking, which is not easy in Erice, gave us detailed information about what to see and how to get there. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast that was provided was very nice .
the wondrerful ,friendly. staff,
It is in a great location in this fabulous medieval town. It's funky in decor..you like it or you don't .
It was the end of the season and the restaurant was very limited... No house wine so we had to get an 18 euro bottle. Except for the morning, no one attended the desk and the lobby was used as their family living room with TV watching. But worst of all, after they kept our passports for two days and forgot to give them back when we checked out ( yes, partly our fault, too), when we realized we didn't have them, we had to drive back up that insane road! I was livid!
right in old town Eriche, great/helpful staff, great breakfast
The situation of the town and its historic atmosphere of it and of the hotel are special. The materials and fittings of the building, and everything else exuded genteel taste and high quality. The standard of the food and service were of a very high order.
The standard Italian mini shower cubicle does not allow one to stretch or wash ones feet. The most insensitively-placed communication towers in the world detract from the special atmosphere of the town (no fault of the hotel).
Terrific reception staff, warm welcoming and helpful. Made us feel wanted. Helped out with car parking which was most kind. A very comfortable hotel and would stay again. Worth eating in restaurant
Very little although would suggest that for evening they change the table cloths to make dining room appear a little more intimate and formal for dinner. I think they are missing out as they have a great location and need to make the most of the fabulous view by making the room more inviting
Located in the centre of a hilltop town .Nicely set-up with good facilities. The young ladies who ran the reception were supremely helpful in assisting our arrival by car in narrow streeted hill town. They were also unstinting in the advice and assistance they gave. They were very impressive in the way they did their jobs and deserve the highest praise.
Narrow streets as is usual in Sicilian towns.
Great location. V friendly staff. Lovely breakfast room. Quiet.
