La Piazzetta is in the heart of Sorrento, just 50 yards from the seafront. It offers free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned rooms and apartments with balcony, a TV and bathroom.
Score from 324 reviews Wonderful
A location near Sorrento's Cathedral and the ancient walls is something only Hotel Mignon Meublè and few others offer. Don't miss the chance to spend a great vacation in comfort.
Score from 211 reviews Wonderful
This hotel is for those who are looking for a place with good views, a modest price, wonderful breakfasts, caring hosts who are eager to help you enjoy your stay, and unpretentious, quiet and clean living spaces. All the rooms have balconies and the views of the Bay of Naples, especially from the breakfast room terrace, are lovely. Gianna and Giuseppe make you feel right at home with all kinds of advice on what to do and how to stay safe. We looked forward to breakfast every morning featuring Guisppe’s light, crispy doughnuts and Gianna’s cakes and/or puddings.
The only drawback is that the hotel is on a hill and it’s a 20-minute walk to the center of town, but the hill ascends quite gradually and the walk is good exercise. And a major benefit is that it’s much quieter than most hotels in town.
Great view Nice owners
Bed was really uncomfortable. No A/C or fans.
Location was good, only 25 min walk to Square. Owners friendly and helpful. The view was amazing and all in all our stay was a good one.
The place was quite run down I am lead to believe they are changing ownership soon, but effort should have been made to keep place very clean.
Convenient to Metro. Ample breakfast selections. Prompt shuttle service to airport for early morning flight. (cost - 30 euros) Friendly, helpful staff. TV offered programs in English. Initial assigned room was small and did not meet our expectation for a 4* hotel. We asked for another room and were quickly reassigned to a larger room with nice amenities.
Hotel is located in a dirty, filthy section of Naples. Garbage littered the streets and it was evident that no clean-up had occurred in weeks, perhaps months. It is near shanty town, as well as massive warehouses with shipments from China. Saw no panhandlers, but a couple of prostitutes.
first room I stayed in was lovely
second room has a separate bathroom
for travelers who like walking and privacy along with a great view and sound of the ocean it is excellent. Great value for the money & homemade treats for breakfast.
Loved the personal service Many good travel tips Breakfast delicious
Towels could be newer
Location, breakfast overlooking bay. Easy to find. Basic but comfortable.
Very small area for parking, had a Fiat 500 thankfully! Room very warm. Higher price due to location I expect.
We loved the hospitalty, location, breakfast and views! Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Excellent value for money especially for a hotel on the sea side of the road with ocean views!
No credit card facility is the only negative.
Realy friendly staff, nice terrace, wonderful view from balcony, great home-made breakfast, clean room and bathroom
The view, friendly staff, the balconies overlooking the ocean, breakfast.
Cash only. For more than 3 days this becomes a hefty amount.
The Breakfast was great and proudly presented. Everything except the bread were made by the proprietor i house. Would stay again in the future.
Lovely staff Homely Italian feel Beautiful views Great value for money Above a beautiful private beach Lovely breakfast
There wasn't a fan in our room, but with the shutters open it want an issue.
Good value for the price. Excellent homemade donuts and fresh cake & breads.
Needs a bit more attention to detail. Rust on railings. Inside doors need painting. Shower a tad small.
Fantastic view over Vesuvius and the sea from the terrasse! The owners - absolutely charming elderly couple.
Well, it's a bit dated, but there's a certain charm in it...
Breakfast Owners Views Distance from town Comfortable beds Small BnB feel
Wireless only in public areas Owners smoke a lot around breakfast eaters
The location was great, just a 5minute walk up the hill away from the noisy busy centre, beach access right next door. Room had a stunning view. The staff were very hospitable and the breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh homemade donuts!!
The staff made you feel like you were family. The breakfast was good. The donuts served at breakfast were great. The view was fantastic. We were only a short walk to the town (about 15 minutes). The rooms were very quiet at night.
The staff were so helpful and welcoming. They made you feel that nothing was too much for them. The view from the terrace at breakfast was beautiful and the homemade donuts were very good! Being outside the town centre it was nice and quiet for sleeping and it was cheaper than many hotels in sorrento. The sea view from the room was lovely.
The hotel was run down and not as clean as most- cutlery and bowls at breakfast hadn't been washed properly and stains down the bathroom door etc. There was no hot water in the afternoon /eve if you wanted to shower after going to beach. Wifi only worked in the breakfast area. Security was a concern as keys were left on desk in reception all day which was unmanned most of the time so you/ someone from the street could actually take the key for another room and let your/themself in!
Breakfast was lovely and the view from the dining room was amazing. The owners made the stay really nice, they were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were very quiet, the hotel is just outside the main town (10 mins walk) so away from the noise.
The owners were so helpful and friendly, they made sure you were well looked after and made it feel like your home during your stay. The views over Vesuvius are stunning, there is a great terrace with chairs and sun beds that you can use at any time. Having Guiseppe's amazing breakfast overlooking the fabulous view every morning was the perfect start to the day.
No pool but there a beach close by and you can use the terrace for sunbathing. It is a 10 minute walk from the town (uphill on the way back!). We enjoyed the walk but small children or older people may find it hard work.
Value for money is excellent, location is great if you know what you looking for (20 min downhill+stairs on foot to ferry port, but away enough from hustle and bustle of Sorrento center and you really got the view), free parking and those world-known donuts on breakfast (really good, taste it even if you on a diet :) Very friendly and very helpful owners, really keen on all surrounding tourists attractions and always ready to give you some good tips about them. There is a small private beach with a lift just near the hotel. The room was very clean and had been maintained everyday. Wi-fi was stable and rather fast.
Soundproofing could be better, no TV (but know need it on vacation..?), no A/C, no fridge (or mini-bar) in a room.
Loved the warmth and homey feel of Hotel Elios! The most beautiful view from the balcony and those donuts for breakfast! I'm still dreaming about them.
I loved the owners! They were like family to us immediately and continued to be so welcoming and kind to us during our stay. Location is superb. Breakfast was outstanding and plentiful.
