Elisabetta Rooms

Elizabetta was very friendly and helpful, answering questions and going out of her way to ensure we were satisfied with our accommodation. The view was extraordinary, and while the room was only small, there was a large roof terrace with a panoramic view !

THE VIEW. It was simply spectacular! Sure, there are a lot of steps involved, but every one is worth climbing to get to the view at the top. Also, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore was soothing. Our (very small) private balcony and the (quite large) 360 degree rooftop deck added priceless value to our experience. Be sure to gaze over at the cliffside after dark for a breathtaking light-show, courtesy of the local fireflies! MAGIC. The layout was a little quirky and small, but honestly, it sort of added to the uniqueness of the experience.

Basic, but hospitality of owner made up for any deficiencies.More like hostel standard.

The view from our room was amazing..... It was clean and small but perfect for us..... You have to go up many stairs but the gentleman that check us in ( Elisabetta's father) helped us with our luggage Thank you!!!! ;-)

Great scenic view. Excellent clean and very accommodating room. Also Elizabeth was very honest. I was unaware that I had paid 50 Euros too much and she brought it to my attention later and returned it.

The view from terrace was fantastic.

Having a breakfast at the restaurant on the hill was suggested, but when we went there around 8 am, the restaurant was not open yet. In addition, the given direction from station to hotel was not accurate, so we wasted some time to figure out how to get the hotel. Beyond these points, everything was so nice.

Terrible saggy bed, lots of steps, layout of room was awkward, no bar soap, tiniest shower ever!

The view was spectacular. Best in Vernazza. Vernazza was definitely the best town on the Cinque Terre. Good value for money. Sound of the ocean at night.

The stairs to the view could be a little dangerous if carrying heavy bags. The room was a little small.

Loved the views of the ocean and Vernazza from our private patio once the stairs were mastered. Cinque Terre being a collection of cliff hanging towns stairs are always present.

The unit was quite comfortable and had a kitchen however the stove was not usable, there were only spoons, no forks or knives and the linens/ towels were well used.

The village were exciting and Elisabetta was situated in a lovely part of it.

It was cold and rainy and the heat inside was not working very well.

Clean and very organized, location is good

Missing some glass of wine in the kicthen, anything else was perfect

Privacy curtain for alley side windows. May be a microwave oven for heating some food.

The obvious THE VIEW!!! especially from our bedroom window, the paths, the village atmosphere, the surprises at every corner, the quaint village itself especially after suffering the floods and mudslide. The people were friendly but you can see they have suffered. Lots of shops still unopen and lots of renovations still taking place. Via del amore is closed to the public. The place is as picturesque as you see in the postcards. Beautiful!!

Our room was tiny as, i mean tiny and im only 5foot nothing. I didnt open my suitcase once because of the lack of room around the bed. I lived out of an overnight bag for 3 nights. No breakfast available, staff were not on the premises, they called in for a couple of hours daily to clean. They leave a note in your room requesting cash payment. In off peak colder months, very little is open and the room that we were in didnt cater for the cold. We had 3 blankets, tiled floor and a heater that didnt work well. The walls are very thin you can hear your neighbours when you are in the room. There are around 112 stairs to get to the room the last 30 were the worst. I didnt mind the steps but they are not for the faint hearted or for those with knee, back or hip issues.

The view. It's amazingly good. 180degree sea view with the houses nearby, spectacular. The owner is friendly!

The room is a bit small and facilities a bit old. Need to go a few upstairs, but its okay! When I wake up opening the window I see the view everything is worh.

The view was spectacular. The room was clean and quaint. The price was within my budget. The climb to the hotel was fun and not as bad as I expected.

So relaxing that you could hear the wave's voices even you're in the bed about to sleep. Unbelievable view of terrace intrigues us also.

This winter season we had to turn on the central heater and it had a very annoying voice.

Room with sea view

It's not easy to find this place. Many steps to climb up, terrible for travelers with big suitcase.

What a perfect view! Yes... will will be walking up and down steps. Lots of steps. At first I thought "what a pain" but then a really nice old lady who looked to be in her 90's passed us up on the steps like she had been doing it all her life. From that point onward, we looked at all the steps as a privilege. The room was very small but it had everything we needed. We got a chuckle out of our bed because it was layered with 8 blankets. The sound of the waves crashing on the shore all night was very smoothing. What a town! The locals had placed candles on all the doorsteps and window sills in celebration of Christmas and the gathering in the town piazza was fun and loving. The hike from Vernazza to Corniglia was about 1-1/2 hrs each way and offered beautiful views. Hotel Elisabetta was a perfect fit for the town(s) and we only wish we could have stayed much longer.

Check-in was a bit awkward. There is no office and when we arrived it was getting cold and dark. We sat on the steps of the hotel for about an hour when finally Elisabetta's husband came up and gave us a key. He was very nice and we were so happy to finally have a home away from home.

We had the two level apartment with living area below and comfortable massive bedroom above. The upstairs room had beautiful ocean village and terraced hillside views. The terraces at the top of the apartments, accessible to all guests by adventurous spiral staircases, has the best 360 degree coastal views in the world. I had dreamed of staying here since 2005 when I walked past the accommodation with this stunning view whilst travelling with a tour group. The dream was realised and we were not disappointed.

We found a kitchen in the apartment but the stove had been disconnected. A microwave would have been useful. Also there is an issue with lack of advice to guests regarding check- in arrangements. As we were the 1st apartment at the entrance, all new guests thought we were the reception office and would ring our bell to advise their arrival. There is no reception here but Elisabetta has a good system to enable easy check in. This needs to communicated by email prior to arrival. These issues did not detract from our beautiful dream-like experience at Elisabetta.

View/Comfort/Price. Amazing amazing view from the rooftop terrace. You don't even realize! You have formed no concept of this view! Vernazza is also, in my opinion, clearly the best city to stay in. The owner/operator was very cheerful, friendly and attentive.

Stairs. The stairs up to the hotel/terrace are quite intimidating!!! They are not kidding around these stairs! But if you are in Cinque Terre to hike then what do you care about stairs???? This is not a negative, it is totally worth it! It is, however, a warning: if you are not willing to drag your baggage up the stairs, then this is not the place for you. It is your loss, however, as you are missing out on a truly beautiful, comfortable and unique experience!

The rooftop patio is amazing! And the owners are so nice and accommodating, had lots of great info and always happy to chat and give advice on neighboring towns, restaurants etc.

We didn't like that we only had 3 nights there, could have stayed much longer :)

Excellent view for the room. The room was at the top of the house, so we just had the ocean in front of us. Vernazza is an awesome place to stay, but you have to know that in low season, there are almost no places to eat and everything seems to be closed. So if you are looking for a place full of restaurants, bars and people hanging out in winter, this is not the place to be. If you are looking for peace, no people and just the noise of the ocean, the place is perfect.

They cleaned up the room very late in the evening. When we got home around 7:30pm, they were in the room. Also, they were too worry about our payment, as if we were not going to pay. That was a little bit annoying. Other than that, a nice place.

Such a darling place! We stayed in the apartment and it was just my husband and I and we thought how there was plenty of room to have had our kids with us. The decor was so charming and appropriate to the setting of Vernazza. We felt like we were on our honeymoon again 20 years later!
