Hotel Embassy

Hotel facility and room conditions were the finest among the hotels I stayed during my trip to Europe. Location was a bit far from the core Florence attractions, but then again, it is a very small city and they were all in walking distance. Wud recommend this hotel to the travellers coming in and out via train cos it's right next to the train station.

Decent breakfast.

The extra cost WiFi was terrible--low signal and low speed. Staff was no help in fixing. Room was barely big enough for the large bed.

This hotel was a in a superb location for visiting the sites of Florence. The hotel iself was faultless and the breakfast superb.

Rennovated hote, nice breakfast, close to train station, friendly staff. It is not so far from Duomo.

Quiet and unfussy when the window was shut, otherwise the traffic noise was horrendous.It was clean with an excellent bathroom. The staff were very good and attentive.

I did not like the beds which were too hard. The air conditioning unit was behind the curtains. It got too hot with the curtains closed and too draughty with them open. There was no chair to sit on, just a couple of poofs. Room was a bit on the small side.

Hotel receptionist was friendly, efficient, lnowledgeable about local; restaurants. The hotel is very close to the railway station, in a non-touristy street.

Not to do with the hotel, but the road from the railway station to the hotel is under repair, which makes the short walk from the station to the hotel a bit of an ordeal.

The staff - front desk, foodservice and rooms - was courteous and helpful. Property clean and maintained. Good food.

The room is very spacious and nicely decoated which made our stay very comfortable. Its location is convenient - about 10 mins walk to the Florence train station. I think that it is value for money.

Very central location. Friendly staff and the superior room was good value for money.

Service by staff very poor. My family and I went out on a tour on a very hot day and returned to the hotel looking forward to a hot shower and an early night to bed, there was no hot water. We complained several times to no avail. Eventually at 11.45pm we were told there was nothing they could do and it will be sorted out in the morning. We were forced to have a cold shower. The lady in charge was very arrogant and unhelpful. We found that at breakfast if something was finished and you requested more, u were just told that there is no more. This happened on more than one morning. I complained about this and was told by the lady in charge that this was normal. The room was very hot and uncomfortable.
