Hotel Emilia  

Above all else, loved the staff. Very courteous and "old world" professional. A true delight. Also loved the setting and views, and inside really appreciated the original art and design of the hotel.

Bathroom was very small.

The location of Hotel Emilia was outstanding. Beautiful grounds, wonderful staff and we loved our room overlooking the Adriatic with the huge balcony. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. We really got to relax here. A truly wonderful experience!

The dinner in the hotel was atrocious. The only thing my husband liked in the antipasti was the mussels. I got the tempura and it was a soggy unappetizing mess. Not good.

Very nice and cozy place! Fantastic view: mountains, seashore, great park!! Italian cuisine. Friendly peronnel and spacious parking! Within easy reach to the local beaches!

Over emphasis of fish on Menu. Where higher salt content than UK was experienced. Sat. Nav had difficulty in directing us to exact location.

I did request on booking a sunny balcony in afternonon, which we didnt get. I noticed the rooms above the restaurant would have been ideal for us, but unfotunantey we were put up the side of the hotel with no sun!

Friendly and very helpful staff, excellent service, delicious food. The location is a perfect combination of relaxation and getting out to the real countryside, to experience the local life style, with active style holiday, gourmet cuisine tasting and admiring breathtaking views. The hotel is located within the nationally protected park reserve which is a guarantee of the total tranquility and unspoilt ecology. We had a wonderful time.

I liked the hotel absolutely, but for some it may be too remote and from the mobility point of view not ideal. You need to have your own transport to visit other localities, although the hotel staff are very accommodating and willing to give you a lift when required. The local taxi company is also available and very reliable.

The hot water was not working - they didn't know until we told them - so showers had to wait a while til they got it repaired. But they did fix in a reasonable amount of time.

My fear with Italian hotels and agriturismo's is the quality of the bed. Usually you get there an antique bedstead, and you wake up with pain in the back. So we were pleased to find Hotel Emilia, which offers good modern quality beds with a solid mattress. Bright and super-clean hotel rooms. We stayed there during the last week of April, and the weather was not good enough to take breakfast or dinner outside. During the summer, people can eat on a large terrace, enjoying a fantastic view on the Adriatic sea. Certainly a good hotel were you get value for your money.

Everything! Due to renovations of the hotel we got an exceptional offer of the price. The working process didn´t disturb us at all. Exceptional service from the staff and delicious breakfast. We didn´t try the restaurant. We got a room with seaview and it was worth the price.

They didn´t have sport channels on TV.

Posizione magnifica. Personale disponibilissimo e molto simpatico. Cucina ottima a prezzi ragionevoli. Da ritornarci. Bravi!

Brutta pavimentazione al piano terra (reception, sala per la colazione e zona salotto) come quella del corridoio del secondo piano.

Prachtige ligging, met verbluffend mooi uitzicht op zee en haar rotsachtige omgeving. Goed verzorgd hotel met klantvriendelijk personeel. Je voelt je echt te gast in een prachtige natuurlijke ambiance. Te midden van vele wandelmogelijkheden en heerlijke strandjes en eetgelegenheden direct aan zee.

A 5 min in auto dalle spiagge di Portonovo, posizione stupenda, con vista mare mozzafiato, giardino curatissimo. Cuicina eccellente. Staff professionale, cordiale e disponibile. Camere pulite e confortevoli. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Esperienza da ripetere!

El personal se porto muy bien ante la incomodidad que tuve la primer noche, porque nos dieron una cama doble muy angosta para dos personas y el colchón estaba descansando en unas tablas delgadas que al moverse uno molestaba al otro. Cuando llegue les dije que quería una cama grande con dos colchones y me dijeron me darían un Upgrade con vista al mar, pero no nos fijamos en la cama y ademas el cuarto era muy chico, pero entendí que eso daban por un cuarto standard. Nos molesto mucho nos dieran una cama doble con un colchón solamente.

Nos dio gusto que al dIa siguiente ante nuestra queja de la cama doble muy incomoda, inmediatamente nos dijeron que nos cambiarían al cuarto de al lado que tenia dos colchones y hacia una cama grande con cuarto mas grande y mas cómodo y nos cambiaron en la tarde que regresamos de pasear y pasamos una noche muy confortable.
