Hotel Engadina is 440 yards from Como Train Station and just a 10-minute walk from the historic center. Free Wi-Fi and free parking are provided here. Rooms have been completely refurbished at the Engadina. They have satellite TV and minibars. Engadina Hotel has a 24-hour reception where newspapers and tourist information is available. Close to the PIazza Duomo but on main road. Single room clean and basic. Breakfast served to your table and plentiful and tasty. Parking around the back on the sideroad. Little bit noisy with scooters on the main road. About 10 minute walk to Duomo and 5 minutes to Lake shore.

The price was okay since most hotels in that part of Italy are ridiculously expensive.The location to city center and tour activities was good. The staff was helpful and the rooms were clean and I think the hotel was recently re-furbished. The rooms were very small especially the bathroom, but again unless it was a star that is the norm for Europe. The TV was 15 inch tube and not one English channel

Perfectly located, close to the city center and to the lake. Hotel rooms are standardly equipped and always tidy and clean. Free wi-fi internet access available at the whole hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking troubles - the hotel has only three own parking places and parking at neighbour buildings is prohibited. Who doesn't manage to get one of the parking places at the hotel has to look for some space in the "blue zones" on side streets.

It's literally 5-10 minutes walk to Como centre, ditto for the station. If driving the hotel has parking available. Friendly helpful staff, nice atmosphere

The location to the train station was convenient. We were in easy walking distance to the business/shopping district of Como. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The safe did not work when we got there. However, it was fixed the next day.

Very friendly and helpful reception personal! Near to the center of Como! Good breakfast! When you arrive at the main train station take a taxi to the hotel if you don't know the area takes too long walking around with the luggages.Generaly they don't speak english. Value for money.

Overall it was clean and safe and comfortable. Breakfast was average. Price was a bit too high for what the hotel offered. In general the hotel was very average looking with no particular interesting or nice features, but nevertheless very functional.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room, well appointed and recently refurbished. Free wifi. It's about a 10min walk to the town centre, ferry port etc. This was no big deal for us but may be an issue for others.

Close to lake garda and old town - easy walking distance. Free parking but very tight and close to other vehicles. Adaquate individual breakfast basket may not give enough choice for some

10 min walk from the como nord lago train station, Wifi, staff was helpful and cheerful (unlike other places in italy) Cannot sleep with the windows open, too much noise from the street. But once you close the windows and turn on the air conditioning, it is not so loud anymore.

We booked a triple room at the hotel and we were upgraded to an apartment that would have held 5 people with self catering facilities. Quiet and comfortable. Fantastic! The majority of the free parking was street based (although safe) - the problem here was that you had to get up at 8.30am to put a free ticket (given by the hotel) onto your car each day.
