Featuring a harbor-side location with views of Lake Como and the Alps, the Metropole is in the heart of Como. When included, a continental buffet breakfast is served out on the lakeside terrace.

With free Wi-Fi, Il Loggiato Dei Serviti is in central Como, just under a quarter of a mile from the Como Train Station. The shores of Lake Como are a 5-minute walk away.

i was told no breakfast but the booking said breakfast included.
Public transport across the road into Como, the great little bar next door for a drink after your sightseeing .
Room was a bit small and there was only 3 spaces out front to park.
Staff, breakfast also nice!
Cold room! Maybe I didnt knew how to switch the heathers on!!!
We were 4 friends on vacation together and we booked the 2 bedroom apartment. We loved the location, walking distance from the train station, easy walk to the lake and centre of town. The apartment had two reasonably sized bedrooms with a kitchenette and had more than enough room for the 4 of us. Staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for local restaurants
Wifi was slow
Helpful staff and manager
Good value for money
Apartment in residential building. Staff are friendly but hardly speak English. Breakfast is minimal.
Elevator has problems.
Upgraded to an apartment, close to the station and the lake.
Nothing, it was a great place for a couple of days.
Very friendly and helpful staff Great budget price to 4 adults (2 couples)
No kettle in kitchen and nowhere to sit for 4 adults in the lounge area
good value for money only
very poor breakfast no WIFI
Breakfast adequate Staff helpful Rooms clean Restaurants and supermarket close
Staff was wonderful. Very clean accommodation and central walking distance to everything
Very kind staff!
Location. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Everythin was ok.
Close to the train station and the lake. Friendly staffs,it's a family-owned hotel. There is a bathtub,air-conditioning and a wide selection of tv channels. Good comfortable bed. They provide many towels.
Breakfast wasn't a buffet. They brought the standard elements : bread,cheese,jam,juice,coffee/tea/cappucino and yoghurt.I dare not ask for eggs as it might be too much to ask,i don't know.Wish i tried as i do want some.
Location is good for people that want to be close both to the train station and the city center, lake, etc. Decent rooms, helpful personnel.
Most important, the rooms are kind of noisy because of the traffic on the main street in front of the hotel. Wifi worked very poorly. Breakfast is good and tasty, but does not offer a wide choice.
We used this place as a stopover enroute back to the uk. Had a good sleep. Not far to walk to see the lake and to get a restaurant with a lakeside view.
Breakfast was adequate, but only bread rolls or croissants offered.. No cereal to be found.
Close to lake and tourist attractions
Wi-fi didn't make it to our apartment room!
For the price we were offered, this was a very positive experience. Everything was clean, good wi-fi, good breakfast (however, remember you're in Italy, not Germany or Great Britain). Everything was ok and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. A local grocery store is just a 2 minute walk away.
The location was good enough for us, but can be a disappointment for someone who likes to be in the centre of activity. I mean, you have to walk some 5-10 minutes to the city centre.
Very friendly staff although most did not really speak english. However, this was not a problem. Close proximity to the lake, town centre and train station – all in just a few minutes walking distance. Rooms are sufficiently furnished, with mattresses on the hard side, quiet and small but clean.
Wifi didn't work and staff were helpless about it. Poor wifi connection seems to be a common problem in Italy.
Location was convenient to the Como Aeroclub Breakfast was good.
Location is convenient to the train station and town centre. The staff were helpful in helping us with our travel arrangement.
For a 3 star hotel, the breakfast provided was lacking in variety, i.e. there should be some cold meat and cereal.
Room, although small, was quiet and well-furnished. The staff was very friendly and hospitable and the breakfast - although it lacked variety - was very good and efficiently served. And the location was great - it had no view, but it was a pleasant walk to the lake, town center.and shopping.
The bed was less than comfortable.
The young man at the front desk was exceedingly polite & welcoming, very helpful with parking & offered us cold water while we waited 15 minutes for our room to be ready (he even kept us informed about its progress). Our rooms were very clean & comfortable, quite large & a good sized bathroom. Breakfast was a little strange - everything was hidden away behind the counter, and the very nice waiter came to the table to ask what we wanted - without telling us what there was to choose from, but eventually we got there.
Nothing negative to say about the hotel, but If I could just mention here - avoid the "Why Not" restaurant nearby (nothing to do with the hotel), unless of course you like rude staff who ignore you, & then refuse to take your credit card - even when it's a pre-paid card - & when you offer the suggestion that perhaps they could mention they don't take cards BEFORE you order, (this fact is not written anywhere) their reply is "yeah yeah yeah". I mean really - courtesy costs nothing!
