Location is amazing, the parking really is very secure (which is difficult to come by in Central Catania). Good value for money. Clean rooms and bathrooms, though the decor is a little tired.

Difficult to find - I'd recommend parking up briefly and looking on foot.

Good location in center. Hostel door was bit hard to find. Reception is not open all the time, so need to call to owner to come let you in when checking in. Staff didn't speak english. Nice room with small balcony.

We stayed for 5 days, the staff was very helpfull, both Adrianna & Paolo. The location is excellent 5 mins walking distance from Piazza Duomo, 10mins from the bus station. I highly recommend this B&B. :)

A small incovinient was that the bathrooom was in an adjecent room not en-suite.

Great location just a few minutes walk to Piazza Duomo with Cathedral and Elephant fountain. So close that it was inside the police perimeter set up for New Years Eve celebrations! Secure gated parking although it took a while for staff to open the gate for us. Large room with gorgeous towering ceilings, basic furniture and decorations but satisfies needs and bed is comfortable. Private bathroom with good hot water but external with keyhole locks. We had an early start the next morning so the staff guy kindly left breakfast rolls and biscuits in our rooms and gave us extra blanket. Really nice man. And he kindly gave us new year pink champagne which we enjoyed on the balcony overlooking the opposite plaza and splendid architecture of surrounding buildings and monuments. Best slice of pizza we had in Sicily was in Catania. For New Years Eve, we sat in the piazza enjoying a Goran Bregovic concert and local beers.

Toilet seat doesn't sit up properly. No credit card payment.

    Located in the centre town.

General presentation of the B&B (dirty garden, dirty main door, very old chair right at the entrance) No 24h reception granted (Booking say that) No water on 31.12 night... Poor level staff and not always polite Bathroom box right at the room entrance and preventing from easily opening the window

    1. It is in the real center of Catania. 2. If you have a car there is a good parking zone in a inner garden (parkin is a real problem in Sicilian towns) ...that is all!

    1. &Quot;Hotel" actually is a big old flat in a "antique" house. It looks like a hospital from the times of ww1. Even not a hospital, it is closer to leprosarium on my oppinion! Because: 2. It is quite dirty in rooms. Staff I think know nothing about harm and disgustness of an old historical dust on window, flor and inside bedside cabinet.. 3. Which is the only furniture in the room (Camera #4).. 4. It is clear just because the size of that appartament (photo is lieing!): it is enough to consist a bed.. and all! If you want your suitcase (and you want it without any furnitures) - put it on the bed.. 5. In fact the bed is very useful in that room, even during the breakfast.. Which is a coffee in a recircled plastic cup with a small heap of cokies on a tray. And you eat it all richness seating on the bed in a Camera and loocking to the wall.. 6. Because there is the only dirty round window with broken glass! You can reach the window jumping from te bed.. Oh, this bed! It is good for all reasons except of sleeping.. 7. Because the window is with a view (if you are a gymnast and can reach it) on the main street of Catania (see the first paragraph in the left green box).. which is newer sleep and broken glass can not stop noise of alive town. 8. To finish the story I think you have no doubt we do not had our many back after the even first night wher we fined different hotel with the room 4 times bigger, just repaired, with a balcony viewing to the inner garden, brekfast buffet for the LESS MONEY!

There was great off street, gated parking in a dangerous city Breakfast was a bit thin a god deal of the attractions were within walking distance

Catania was dangerous (But Eolo made that as minimal as possible)

Excellent location, privat parking in the courtyard and friendly staff.

It´s hard to sleep there, buses, mopeds and motorcycles making noise all night and people on the street can be heard by the one-glass windows.

The location is fantastic, very close to the centre of Catania and very convenient that you can park on the patio.

There was a power cut for a few seconds and after that the alarm next door went off. For almost four hours the alarm sounded very loudly right outside our room. I had to push the staff several times to take some kind of action as the noise was unbearable. In the end the owners of the house next door arrived and turned the alarm off! I know it wasn't their fault, but a bit more initiative from the staff would have been appreciated.

The location was the best, in the city center. Staff where friendly and helpful, but had problems with the language. The room was big.

There was no wifi in the room, also breakfast was not that good. Also the entrance is a bit difficult to find, and the lift is very old.

Location: 2 min from Duomo. Parking place in the yard with gates, not in the street

Breakfast: several small cookies from nearest supremarket, no special breakfast area so you have to eat breakfast in your room. And in the room there is no table. Staff doesn't speak english at all. Elderly man was very friendly and tried to explain all necessary. Woman who was at the reception next day was very ungracious: access to the internet was given only after we had paid for the room (no credit cards as it is in the booking description)

This is a nice budget accomodation in the middle of the historic centre of Catania. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms have air conditioning, which was extremely useful during a heatwave in August.

Not all rooms have a balcony. My room towards the street was very noisy since the old windows don't insulate at all from the noise. The WiFi signal is very unreliable in the rooms because of the thick walls of the old building. You need to go to the corridor. Breakfast is only Italian style, coffee with two pastries ("continental breakfast"). These points wouldn't be negative if they were mentioned on the website. Furthermore, WiFi was unavailable for two full days. There was a problem with the provider; so it wasn't the fault of the hotel, but nevertheless annoying since I had explicitely booked this place because of the free WiFi access. One of the two windows was broken, and the door of the shower cabin didn't close well. But if you accept that in 'old' Italy things are not perfect, the friendliness of the staff, the ideal location, and the lovely atmosphere of the historic building make up for the little faults.

Con parking interior, resguardado y seguro. With interior parking well protected and safe. Parcheggio interno, custodito e sicuro.

No permiten pago con tarjeta de crédito o débito. El desayuno es lamentable. They do not accept payment with credit or debit cards and the breakfast is rather pitiful. Non accettano pagamento con carta di credito o bancomat. La colazione é un po' povera.

The B&B is very close to the centrum of the city

We had reserved our night but there was no one at the B&B. Fortunately we had a phone number and someone came to give the keys. The English of the recepionist is very poor, it is very difficult to understand each others. The recepionist had promised to book a taxi by 4am in the night and to give us a breakfast package given our very early departure. We have never seen the breakfast neither the taxi...
