All the other thinks. I ordered a room with a normal couple bed. And it was 2 separated bed. I WILL NEVER TRY THIS HOTEL ANYMORE.
Staff was very friendly and attentive. Good breakfast. Charming place.
Occasional blackouts when too many heaters were turned on during cold nights. Noisy plumbing, especially the water pumps.
Comfortable beds, staff attentive.
Breakfast was satisfactory, but the waitress was not kind. It is a little far from the city centre, however there are train stations of the two lines near to the hotel.
Well located, clean, friendly personell.
Minor waater leak in the toilet.
Location Friendly staff Taxi service at 40 euros
breakfast, bed and 24 hour reception
the walls are thin and some noise from other rooms come into the room
Location was great, welcoming staff and very helpful. Clean and comfortable. Hotel is on third floor of a large building so very safe.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. On arrival we were upgraded to a 4 bed room even though we only paid for a double and it was nice to have the extra space. The free breakfast was great as was the wifi. The location is a safe and pleasant area with nice cafes, restaurants and a laudromat nearby. It is a bit further from main tourists sites but we walked the easy 20-25 min walk to Spanish steps/trevi fountain etc regularly and it was a very pleasant walk.
Only one staff member spoke english and she was only their a few hours in the middle of the day. The other staff had very limited english which did make getting directions etc a bit difficult. It's also a little difficult to find with no obvious sign for the hotel out the front. The air conditioner in our room was dripping water one day and when we told a staff member they came and put a towel on the floor and said "fixed". We could have done that
The location was great, most of the attractions except for the Vatican are within walking distance. The train station is about 15 minutes away.
The hotel is small which is not problem but located on the third floor. Fortunately there is an elevator.
I felt safe and comfortable. The owner and his staff were kind and helpful. The local restaurants had great food with authentic Italian cooking. The hotel was located in a very convenient area. Mostly, I walked to everywhere, but on occasion I took the metro which was near-by.
location staff cleanliness ok breakfast price
Constant moderate noise coming from the heating system
In a quiet area of Rome away from the busy tourist spots. The staff were very helpful, the breakfast was very nice and the room was nice with a window that opened for fresh air. We also enjoyed the local restaurants.
The location is quiet.
Far away from rail station and attractions. Inconvenience for long stay: not supermarkets, restrantant, etc. around
noisy air-conditioning, sometimes not working at all english speaking staff at reception only in the morning
A very decent room with comfortable bed. Thomas is very friendly and funny, and the younger woman at the front desk was lovely too. Location is good - can be a little confusing to find at first but is quite close to Termini station. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby.
The older woman who worked at breakfast was extremely rude. Every morning she offered hot drinks to everyone except my boyfriend and I. As a result we could never have any hot drinks and she also made fun of us in Italian to other guests. Her attitude was appalling and made breakfast a bad experience for us.
Nice breakfast, convenient location. Don't forget to try the ice cream on the corner!!
We booked a room with double bed but got one with twin beds plus the usual hole between. Uncomfortable for couples.
Clean and small but comfortable rooms, great breakfast, helpful staff. Location is a little bit confusing for the first time you go to the hotel but close to bus stops, you can take the buses to anywhere you want. Not so close to the metro stations but you can get to one by 10-15 min walk
When we first arrived to the hotel we were immediately greeted by, "Sorry, all rooms full." Over and over again. After arguing for over an hour that we booked a hotel room (remind you, we had a confirmation number and everything), they sent us to another hotel, and then took us back. I made a reservation for a double room for TWO people, but for 3 night we shared a single room and also a twin size bed. In most cases I would have just left this hotel, but there was nothing else available in the area. The staff was always saying, "SORRY, no room," "SORRY, I work all night," just many excuses why our room didn't work. In the end, we were charged an extra $8.00, which was VERY upsetting after sharing a twin bed. If you book this hotel, just a heads up.
Very friendly stuff. The hotel is located in the historical center of the city: it take you 20 minutes to get to Termini station by foot. The room was clean and cosy. Wi fi and conditioning was ok.
Clean & comfortable rooms, friendly & helpful staff, breakfast, great location...
room, bed, Wi-Fi, location
The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The air condioning was wonderful in the month of June. The older Italian gentlemen working the desk was very helpful, kind, and funny. We really liked him. Overall, great stay.
We really liked Thomas. He was an older Italian man at the front desk that spoke I'd say very little to no English, but was great and very helpful even with our language barrier. He recommended an awesome restaurant that we ate at every night but one.
Breakfast, every employee was great, we liked the neighborhood the hotel was in... LaRomana gelatteria was a favorite.
