location staff cleanliness ok breakfast price
Constant moderate noise coming from the heating system
In a quiet area of Rome away from the busy tourist spots. The staff were very helpful, the breakfast was very nice and the room was nice with a window that opened for fresh air. We also enjoyed the local restaurants.
The location is quiet.
Far away from rail station and attractions. Inconvenience for long stay: not supermarkets, restrantant, etc. around
noisy air-conditioning, sometimes not working at all english speaking staff at reception only in the morning
A very decent room with comfortable bed. Thomas is very friendly and funny, and the younger woman at the front desk was lovely too. Location is good - can be a little confusing to find at first but is quite close to Termini station. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby.
The older woman who worked at breakfast was extremely rude. Every morning she offered hot drinks to everyone except my boyfriend and I. As a result we could never have any hot drinks and she also made fun of us in Italian to other guests. Her attitude was appalling and made breakfast a bad experience for us.
Nice breakfast, convenient location. Don't forget to try the ice cream on the corner!!
We booked a room with double bed but got one with twin beds plus the usual hole between. Uncomfortable for couples.
Clean and small but comfortable rooms, great breakfast, helpful staff. Location is a little bit confusing for the first time you go to the hotel but close to bus stops, you can take the buses to anywhere you want. Not so close to the metro stations but you can get to one by 10-15 min walk
When we first arrived to the hotel we were immediately greeted by, "Sorry, all rooms full." Over and over again. After arguing for over an hour that we booked a hotel room (remind you, we had a confirmation number and everything), they sent us to another hotel, and then took us back. I made a reservation for a double room for TWO people, but for 3 night we shared a single room and also a twin size bed. In most cases I would have just left this hotel, but there was nothing else available in the area. The staff was always saying, "SORRY, no room," "SORRY, I work all night," just many excuses why our room didn't work. In the end, we were charged an extra $8.00, which was VERY upsetting after sharing a twin bed. If you book this hotel, just a heads up.
Very friendly stuff. The hotel is located in the historical center of the city: it take you 20 minutes to get to Termini station by foot. The room was clean and cosy. Wi fi and conditioning was ok.
Clean & comfortable rooms, friendly & helpful staff, breakfast, great location...
room, bed, Wi-Fi, location
The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The air condioning was wonderful in the month of June. The older Italian gentlemen working the desk was very helpful, kind, and funny. We really liked him. Overall, great stay.
We really liked Thomas. He was an older Italian man at the front desk that spoke I'd say very little to no English, but was great and very helpful even with our language barrier. He recommended an awesome restaurant that we ate at every night but one.
Breakfast, every employee was great, we liked the neighborhood the hotel was in... LaRomana gelatteria was a favorite.
Good location.Safe ,quiet neighbourhood.Staff friendly.Breakfast adequate.Room clean and spacious. No noise at night.Good restaurants nearby.Bus stop near with many buses.
Not very good lighting in the room.
price and location
feels like it is a family motel with relatively poor facilities
very helpful and friendly staff breakfast clean within walking distance from Termini station
have to wait for a few minutes until the water warms up
Tasty breakfast and very kind stuff.
The room was small.
Very good hotel for it's class. Clean, kind stuff and well situated. There are 2 high classed Pizzerias right on the corner. In "Forno de la Soffita" I ate the best pizza in Rome.
Very clean. The staff was very friendly, helpful and eager to assist in any way. We had an issue with our airline checkin and the day staff worked for well over an hour to get us checked us in for our flight. They even packed us a breakfast for our travel day as our flight was at 5:00am. We highly recommend Hotel Ercoli.
It was a little noisy at night, you could hear lots of sounds through the walls. We always keep ear plugs just in case and that solved our problem.
Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our stay in hotel Ercoli because the staff was really friendly and polite. If we visited Rome again we would definitely choose the same hotel :)
nice staff. quiet. clean and comfortable room.
convenient location, nice and helpful staff, clean room and common areas, breakfast included, good value for money
the triple room was a bit small.
Clean room with a decent shower. Breakfast was decent.
The room was quite small, but we were out most of the day, and I would have liked more/better meat selection for breakfast.
In one word: amazing! It's really close to the city and the subway station, close to the train station where you can take the bus to the airport. Really nice staff and good food in the morning. All the Staff speaks English and that's a real plus.
