Staff was friendly, and the hotel is wonderfully located, at the heart of the city, near Piazza di Spagna and Via dei Condotti. The price was great too, which is why we booked the rooms. Such low price in the middle of Rome is fantastic. The hotel is being refurbished. Some of the rooms are extremely basic, but the beds are very comfy. Breakfast is also very basic, but the breakfast room is lovely. Basic price, basic facilities.

Very near the centre of the city and very near the Metro which was very helpful. Sharing a shower room that was also the only toilet of that floor. The man on floor 1 had to come up to the 5th floor for his shower or wash as he had no facilities in his room. Also we had a sink but no hot water!!

big room, satisfying breakfast, super location, very good value. Highly recommended for a short stay aimed at visiting Rome without almost having to use means of transport! Bathroom should be renewed and refurbished. It was clean, though.

Excellent location in the central Rome for being between Spanish steps and Trevi fountains (both within 5 minutes on foot), underground train stations and bus lines close by. I had a bathroom to share with 2 other rooms which was no problem at all, large, comfortable and clean room with a balcony. I will stay there again! I can't think of anything major but wifi was weak in my room for being the top floor but that's a common issue

Only the location; cleanliness and noise all the time are main issues. and all the facilities suck. dirty floor. sounds coming out of the bathroom. they turn off the heater early in the morning or during the night... so it gets really cold

My room had a sink and bidet. The only good place about this hotel is location. It's between 2 Underground (Metro, Subway) stations and near old town in walking distance to many places worth visiting. Got 1 room after paying for 2, then argued and finally got it. Staff hardly speaks English. The place looked much better on photos than in real life. Shared bathroom was dirty and not cleaned for 2 days. Lights in a room were damaged, it was darker than it should be, electrical cables were not secure and open. I was told that I can't come later than 1:30 as I won't get in due to staff going to sleep. Only on a Saturday night residents can come very late and still get in. It was not mentioned when doing the booking. Breakfast was a disaster, very limited choice. Coffee and tea were of the cheapest brand and didn't taste nice. For 65 eur for a single room per night it was a rip off! I moved to another hotel for 70 eur for a double with nicer breakfast, surrounding area and facilities. I advice people to travel free and find hotels in the city after looking at them to avoid disappointment like I did.

I reserved a twin room w shared bath. Room had large king bed, and balcony too. Loved the room. Shared bathroom was dated, worn and needs serious attention. They also called me one hour too early for my wake up call.

breakfasts were generous. Linen was clean. Its very close to Rome's main attractions. Rooms desperately needed refurbishment. Rooms are on a busy street with no sound insulation.

I have stayed at far better places and at much lower price. For too high a price, this was definitely not good. The elevator was pathetic and seemed like was from the 18th century or so. The best thing about this hotel was the breakfast but I found that too was same and boring every day. Location was perfect, very close to Fontana di Trevi and that is the greatest advantage this hotel enjoys. And yeah please get WiFi. It's 21st century and people do need Internet. The cold room, the lack of Internet facilities (WiFi or anything). Luckily for me, I had my Internet key with me but for someone who wants Internet don't go for this hotel.

The location is extremely great The breakfast was good Best place to stay if you don't bother about the staffs and only bother about the tourist attractions The old man who speaks fluent English is quite rude. One of the staff who lives in the basement and only speaks Italian looks like a serial killer The lift is scary and tiny. They charged me 2 Euros extra for no reason The shared washroom is very dirty and make sure you are the first one to use the washroom. The staffs are very poor in giving the right directions and doesn't even know how to get into tourist sites. If you ask them they say only " I don't know, may be..." because the old man told me Vatican Museum is very far but it was just 15 minutes by bus.

The location was good and we lelt safe. However I have stayed there twice before [years ago ] and realize they are going through a major renovation but I think their rates should be lover until the hotel is up tp standards. They are not up to standard right now since they are reluctant to put money in to rooms that will redone. Again the rates should be adjusted accordingly.
