Pool was lovely when we could use it
Weddings and confirmation parties meant most facilities were off limit to guests
Nice swimming pool, clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff, particularly Pasquale. Good breakfast and variety of food. 6/7 mins walk from a nice beach. Very close to Paestum ruins and close to Parco del Cilento.
It happened to me twice: anytime there's a wedding at Hotel you will find a pool maintenance (Probably they do not want any people around during the wedding). Moreover, if the wedding is in the evening you may hear music til midnight from your room (it depends where you room is located). So before you book your room you may want to ask for that.
Beautiful hotel, nice breakfast, lunch and diner, ideal location near the beach for a relaxing vacation.
The hotel organizes a lot of wedding parties. Sometimes because of these parties, you can't use the pool.
A true boutique hotel.
Immaculately kept hotel and gardens. Lovely pool. Great club sandwiches. Easy beach access.
Despite booking a non-smoking room we did not get this. No other rooms available as 2 functions were taking place on our arrival day. Took a couple of days for the smell of stale smoke to go away :-(
The beach club. Close proximity to Paestum and the Cilento coast. Pasquale, the restaurant manager - very helpful.
Couldn't use the pool - it would be better if the staff made it clear that hotel guests are not welcome in the hotel grounds while there are weddings going on. Air conditioning didn't work.
This is probably the most outstanding hotel we stayed in Italy in the 5 week visit, everything spot on after we asked to move rooms, which was done with no fuss and a smile. Started bad, with any reservations made through booking.com you end up in the worst position in hotel however 90% of the rooms were fine just locations in hotels, this was consistent with every reservation (in Italy 5 weeks) except 1.
Relative secluded and quiet, easy walk to beach, short car hop to Paestum, very nice grounds and pool. Head waiter Pasquale is a gem of helpfulness and savoir faire, speaks excellent English. There is an excellent, reasonably priced multichoice fixed price menu.
The rooms are quite small by American standards
In nature, closr to historic monuments, good food, friendly stuf especially the restaurnt chif ,elegant.
Beautiful gardens lovely patios
The staff were terrific. The Greek temples are just down the road.
Beautiful property. There was a wedding going on when we arrived, and it looked and sounded like a lovely affair. We ate in the restaurant and had a nice meal. Pasquale took care of us at dinner and again for breakfast. Breakfast offered a nice variety of foods, not your typical Italian continental.
We drove in at night along the beach road south of Salerno. I must admit, I was a little worried that I had picked an unsavory spot. We passed many beachside roadhouses and many "working" people along the way. So thrilled when we got to Paestum and saw all the lovely hotels. Much relieved, it was just like the booking.com TV commercial!
Nothing. It's hard to say anything bad about this place. I suppose the drinks are a bit expensive.
staff, clean room, position.
Last day we had to take the showers with cold water since the Hotel had an electric problem that they could not fix soon. Lack of WiFi in the rooms
