Helpful staff and easy check-in. Nice and basic room with good heating during chilly winter days.
City tax is 4 euro, as it was said at the reception and shown on a notice there. However, the notice in the room said that it was only two euro - a bit confusing!
Firstly and most importantly receptionist Mizan was so nice and helpful! Thanks to him my friends and I know where to go on coffee or lunch, he also gave us a map, so we know where to go. The room was very good, everything was clean and in good condition, after whole day of traveling it was so nice to come back to rest in this Hotel.
The room was nice and clean. The hotel is near most of the tourist attractions. The staff was very friendly, especially Mizan.
The room was a little bit noisy because it was situated near the reception.
Location wasn't too bad, bit of a walk to metro, but wasn't too bad. Free WiFi, but wasn't fast. Room was clean, not impressive, but clean. Staff was friendly, when you could find them.
I've been to Italy many times. I always look forward to the Italian breakfast. I was extremely disappointed with the breakfast. Not the price, but what they had. I didn't fly to Rome to eat bologna sandwiches. The hotel was extremely hard to find. There is only a very small plaque on the front of the building. We arrived to no one at the front desk after a long day of traveling. Sat there waiting, no bell to ring, and after about an hour someone finally came to check us in and give us the key to our room. Overall I would say the experience was ok, at best.
great location, and we got our money's worth.
- Excellent location, near everything. - It was not expensive, we paid something like 100 eur (taxes included) for 2 nights in a double room (Annex building) for us 2 (02/2015) - The staff is nice and friendly.
- The bed was uncomfortable - The room was poorly decorated
The location was great and the room was comfortable for three persons. It was clean and warm and the price was decent.
Last day we didn't have clean towels. We were happy until our check out. We made our check out and we ordered a taxi on there behalf which would cost us 50 euros. We asked for a better price but the receptionist told us that this is a fix price. On our way out we found a regular taxi (legal white taxi) easily at 4 am and we asked for the price for Champino airport and the fix price is 30 euros!!! The receptionist was very rude, demanding and appeared to be a cheater. He insisted to take the taxi that he called and immediately changed the price from 50 to 30 euros! We were very upset with his behavior and he have chosen the regular taxi which by the way the taxi driver was very polite! After this experience we are disappointed and we will not visit this hotel again.
Safe and busy street, easy to find, helpful staff, very good location, close to Termini, and so close to all points of interest in Roma old town. The street is one of the most well known, therefore anybody can tell you towards where to go if you could not find it. I would choose it next time because of the location. We staid in an annex building, in a triple room. It was rather good on the whole, clean bathroom, towels changed everyday, etc.
The smell in the room was really bad at first, coming from the cupboard, therefore we did not put anything inside it and kept the door of it closed. And time to time opening the window, the smell was not so bad. The kettle was not working, therefore it was dissapointing for not getting any hot drink in the morning. The floor is made of tiles, and it is very cold, therefore be sure to have slippers. One night it was a little bit noisy due to cars in the street, however not so bad actually, it was really possible to sleep.
The staffs at the reception are very gentle and friendly. At the moment of check in they explain the local map which is very helpful for new comers in Rome. The breakfast room was well decorated and comfortable with nice coffee. The rooms were cleaned very well.I really have enjoyed my staying in this hotel. Surly,if I come back again in rome I will stay in this hote.
Location close to termini station and walking distance to attractions such as colliseum / trevi fountain. Free wi fi.
The photos showing the outdoor balcony eating didn't seen true as we never saw it were shown this. No view from our window.
Location Cleanliness Helpful staff
Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Amazingly located close to every hotspot of the city. The room seemed brand new, it deserves more than 3 stars.
The reception staff was very friendly. We spoke to 3 members of the staff, two of them were amazing, helpful and on the spot. However, the other person was there on our check-in, which lasted 20 minutes. He was weird in a sense, asking irrelevant questions and even impolitely commented on our opinion. It is good to be friendly in such a position, but there are limits that the specific person exceeded.
We stayed in a triple room (No. 62). It was really a big room with a lovely balcony. The bathroom and shower was really nice! Hotel was in a great location. Walking distance to everything! Would definitely stay again :)
Quite close to monuments Very quiet, and the staff was clealing every day. They were very kind and gentle. If you go, try to find Mitzan, a very friendly and helpful person that will help you with everything you need. We were three couples and we were all satisfied
Breakfast was a little bit poor. The reception is not in the main door of the building but on the third floor, so in the begining you are a little bit confused I would like my room to be more bigger.
We really enjoyed our stay in Rome, the hotel is centrally located, staff is nice and professional, rooms are clean and comfortable!
location is perfect.Rooms are clean and comfortable. It was my second stay at hotel and i'm very satisfied.
the reception staff is not of much help. we had 2 awkward situations: 1. when asked to make a telephone call to a very famous museum in Rome, they replied that they did not have the number?!?!!2. the information regarding the airport transfer cost was not accurate
It was walking distance to many main attractions: colosseum, pantheon, spanish steps, restaurants and shops. Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Spoke excellent English. We had a marvel of a time and only went to the hotel when it was time to sleep. Thank you for all your help!
Getting ripped off by taxi drivers from airport to hotel. Arman organised a taxi for us at a much cheaper price to the airport. Thanks!
Good location. Local bus just outside the hotel. Most tourist destinations within walking distance or easily reached by bus. Room clean. Staff friendly. Felt safe.
Room decor a bit shabby. Worried after reading some previous reviews but we experienced no problems.
The room had a safe to secure our belongings, it was always very clean, and the bed was comfortable. I liked that the room at air and heating to control the temperature. The wifi was also pretty decent, although it could be slow at times. The location was excellent, an 8 minute walk to the nearest metro and less than 20 minute walk to just about every landmark in room except Vatican City and the pantheon. I also felt very safe, with our room key and the fact that you could also lock the room from the inside.
The queen bed was just two single beds pushed together. Sometimes the beds would separate and we would have to push them back together. But really it wasn't a big concern. The view from our window wasn't great. The wifi could be a little iffy at times. But over all great value for money and I would stay here again!
Excellent service, friendly staff
it was very bad experience, no facilities , no good room services and it was very noisy, i think there was a bar or club on top of our room. i really won't do it again.
The location was excellent, the staff were nice and helpful. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Great value for money when your priority is visiting the Eternal City.
There is very poor soundproofing of the rooms - so you can easily hear conversations from the corridor or from the reception area (if your room happens to be close to it) - however, if you sleep easily and this does not bother you, it's a great place to stay.
Central location, close to the city center, walking distance to almost everything. Very friendly staff, helpful and information on the city. Low cost for accommodation. The rooms, corridors and reception was newly renovated and clean. Furniture new and fresh. The traffic was not heard in the room. The price included safety box, change of towels, bedding and cleaning every day. The price of beer, water etc. in the fridge was low. Beds were comfortable to sleep in. Reception open day on - 24 hours.
The elevator was small, old, but worked. The fridge was small, poorly kept cool and was hard to keep closed. Poor with cupboards and drawers for storage. Construction work next door. We bought for breakfast a few days, but it did not suit us Northern Europeans - typical Italian with bun and coffee. In the shower was no place for soap, shampoo etc. We had to put it on the floor.
Very Friendly & Helpful Staff & lovely clean amenities.
We got a triple room (annex) and it was very spacious with ensuite. I was told the annex room ( in a different building approx 3 doors down the main reception building) are more spacious than their normal room so id possible try to choose the annex room. Room is clean. The building has lift but as expected its small, can fit in max 3 person at one time and if one travel with big luggage has to go up one by one with the luggages. The hotel has breakfast options but i did not take that option. I went to a nice coffee shop 2 doors down from the hotel which serve a cup of caffe late for 0.90 cents
Room has kettle but no other coffee making facilities eg cups, tea or coffee bags etc.. Its a bit of a workup up and down thw building if one room is not in the same building as the reception building
