We experienced an excellent hospitality. Don't expect a big breakfast buffet, but when we asked for a croissant the next day, and we got it. With the Vatican and metro station within 10 minute walk we could visit everything we wanted in no time. The rooms are decorated very nicely and very clean. we would definitely recommend C'est la vie rooms as a place to stay in Rome.
The bed was a little bit old, But since we were tired of visiting Rome all day we slept perfectly nonetheless.
Antonio and Amalia were amazing! We couldn't have asked for anything more. Location is excellent! Make sure to have a meal at Dino & Tony's!
373€, 2 people, for a week (7 nights) + 28€ italian tax which we paid before leaving the hotel, is more I used to pay for B&B but for a much improved comfort so if the price stays the same I completely recommend this place without hesitation they clean regularly and the sheets and towels are immaculate the breakfast is 'all you can eat' and there're several choices of tea, an expresso machine, cold milk as much as you want, yogurt, cake, etc the fridge in the kitchen is small but you still can put your own food if you bought any Air conditioning, nice tenants which you can reach by text to ask anything you want to know (very helpful), etc etc
No microwave or cooker means no hot milk in the morning and no hot (ready) meals Only one french channel (France 24), no english one, the rest of it only italian ones
It was really perfect. The location was good and the staff was very kind!
very clean and modern. Owners are extremely friendly and welcoming.
Love this place. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.
Really brilliant room and access to refreshments. Very good support. Highly recommend,
Need to make clear location. Both directions from Metro & access to rooms.
Just excited with this amazing b & B. Amalia and Antonio were more than helpfull. The room although small was very clean and comfortable, with a very nice and clean bathroom also. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of sweets. A small kitchen was at our disposal all day for snacking. In a very short distance there is a Metro Station. We definitely recommend it.
the staffs are so warm and kind, the hotel is located in a quite and safe block. it is very convenient to live here, you can use the kitchen
the lights in the bedroom is a little dim
Location Comfort Tidiness Host's kindness
Close to Vatican, Metro station. Very friendly and helpful staff.
- central, very close to Vatican - very clean - good breakfast - friendly staff
Very well decorated room , though small. Very friendly people, very good guidance for restaurants and tourist places was provided.
Room was very small. It's away from many attractions.
good localization (5 min to metro by walk), good, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms,
Poor breakfast (worse than ever), horrible coffee - only espresso possible to drink (better is not to propose this kind of breakfast then do like this...)
A bed and breakfast can be made or ruined by the service of the hosts... at C'est La Vie, they are top notch!!! Very welcoming and helpful, we arrived late and they were there with smiles on their faces. Rooms are very clean and modern. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh croissants. About a 10 minute walk to the Vatican Museum and the closest Metro stop. Also A/C which is tough to come by, and very quiet at night even with the windows open.
The room we had was awesome, but a little small... perfect for a 4 day trip but if you have big luggage, maybe a challenge.
every thing very good
just small room
The location of the hotel was fabulous, easy access to two underground stations and a few minites walk to the vatican city as well as several very good bus routes from outside the hotel. The room was very comfortable and a honour bar system was in place for drinks, the bathroom was fabulous and there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was simple but adequate and we were offered an early breakfast outside our room on the morning we left early. The owners were lovely, two spoke very good english and the third spoke much better english than my italian !! I would advise anyone going to Rome to stay here,it is a safe, friendly and spotlessy clean hotel in a very convenient location.
If your planning a lie in, you'll be disturbed by breakfast as it's outside the rooms but we were up early so it did'nt bother us.
The rooms are very good! The showers is great! Is weel located because is near from metro station and near Vatican.
The rroms are into an apartment, so your privace is broked. The walls are very weak, so you can hear all the noises from other rooms or kitchen. The owners doesn't speak english very well. The breakfast is very poor. It just had sweet things. Poor diabetics.
We were impressed with the hospitality while staying at C'Est La Vie. The location was a short walk to the Vatican and to the Metro for further exploration of Rome. The room was spotless and recently remodeled. When we return to Rome, we not hesitate to make a return visit to C'Est La Vie Rooms.
