Staff helpful Wifi stable Nice badroom Great location
Little expensive for the room
Good size rooms, staff lovely. Fridge in room. Great location. Great supermarket across the street and train station on your doorstep.
Wifi signal is very very poor. Could do with a wee kettle. Was a kitchen up stairs on 5th floor, but hard to reach.
Good position and close to the station for visiting surrounding locations. Three of us shared a room that was large and clean with good facilities including good AC and WiFi. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for money and would stay here again.
Nice room. Very helpful staff, they went out of their way to assist us. Marcus & his sister Anna were genuinely interested in us having a good stay. Quiet. Good air con. Great location near transport and sites, with nice restaurants very nearby. When you go passed McDonalds burgers from the train or bus look closely on the other side of the via for the hotel name, it's a bit trickey but just down the via a bit. Good value.
Nothing to dislike
The rooms are very clean and modern, location is very near to firenze train station. Value-for-money.
having computer in room a plus, comfortable, having elevator was also a plus
Clean room Huge bathroom Excellent staff Location is prime
One bed was taken away on the second night.
The room was extremely large with a double bed and two twin beds... No view but that's fine we did not stay in the room much. Very close to the train station and the person at the reception was more than helpful in telling us about the attractions and how to function things in our room. The biggest surprise of all was the double jacuzzi in the bathroom !!!!
The window would not close and there are a lot of mosquitoes so beware
it is noisy at night
Location is very good because of accessibility.
Hotel Ester has 2 building. When I check-in, the manager take us to another building across the street with Ester building(same building as Hotel Verna). There is a old-small manual lift, and has a kitchen. So there is no room-service.
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast on the rooftop balcony was a bonus!!
- Staff are just great, young, helpful & accommodating - Location is within walking distance of main attractions & train station - Room is spacious & clean - I will definitely stay there again when I visit Florence
The location was perfect, a very short easy walk to the historic centre or the station. No breakfast but cafe next door was excellent. Staff really helpful and friendly with tips about where to go. Very comfy large single bed, good shower, strong wi fi. I hope to stay again!
Room was near the desk and on the first night the staff talked noisily until late. (But this was small irritation as rest of hotel perfect!)
The location, the attention given by the staff, the Wi-Fi, bathroom and cleanliness.
The absence of breakfast. The hotel offers a place that you can have breakfast for a lower price, but it was always closed. The others restaurants nearby offer terrible service with high price. Don't ever sit to have your coffee otherwise you will be charged double price.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence.
Location. Was on a journey which meant late arrival and very early departure using trains. Hotel's location ideal with lots if places around to grab a late supper etc.
Initially found hotel sign very easily but discovering the entrance not so easy. Entrance signing could be better or an explanation in their details. Otherwise everything as grand and pretty much what I expected.
Was only here for one night but it was good. Maybe a little over priced, but considering its location and comfort level, it was worth it. The view was amazing, overlooked all of Florence and the Duomo
Location, Staff, Nice room, very nice bathroom, good AC, good wifi, good satellite TV
water heater wasn't working for a day or two and had to take a couple cold showers.
Staff and their help Location Access to communal kitchen
The two things that make this hotel an excellent choice are its location and the staff. The is ideally located in close proximity to the train station and short walking distances to all of the City's main attractions and piazza's. In addition, Marco and Aldo were incredibly helpful staff that ensured we were treated as if we were at home and also gave us perfect advice on where to shop, eat and how to navigate the streets of Florence. My wife and I had an incredible stay at Hotel Ester!
Location was very convenience, just a min walk to the station and market.... Because we were in the top floor, like a little loft, the view was amazing. The room and toilet was very clean.
Room a bit too small, found out a bit difficult to open my suitcase in a little space.
The staff at front desk were very nice and helpful. When the greeting staff knew that it was our first time to come to Florence, she gave a lot useful information.
We stayed for two nights and left a digital music player and electric shaver on a desk since the first day we arrived. When we checked out, we didn't see them and my husband thought I put them away in my suitcase while I thought he did. It turned out neither of us did. But we are very sure that they were not on the desk when we left the room, because we checked carefully not to leave anything behind. We don't know if it was the cleaning person who put them in a drawer when he/she cleaned the room, or he/she simply took them. We didn't check the drawers since we never put anything in them. Maybe we should... Anyways, be careful and make sure to check every corner of the room just in case when you leave...
We really lucked out on this one. Our hotel room was on the top floor and in the corner so we had a beautiful view of most of the city. Wifi worked great, room was very spacious for two, hotel was right across the street from the train station making it very easy to get in and out of the town. Leather market was right around the corner a long with a great selection of restaurants. Also, if you need your laundry done it was only 3 euro to do all of our laundry which was perfect timing on our trip.
it's a bit of a walk to the major attractions but that's the trade off for being right next to the train station
Close to the rail station. Everything was very nice.
