Beautiful architecture and setting facing the sea, surprisingly good breakfast in the roof-restaurant overlooking the old city, nice room furniture. Rooms without sea-view are an outrage: the first we've been offered was a small triangle opening at ground floor towards a narrow, loud street, the second was roomy enough, but it had no direct sunlight at all, the one we accepted was large and nice, but noisy because it borders the lift. |

What a great hotel! The sea view from our room was spectacular! Hotel is really in the heart of it all. Staff was friendly and helpful. Some have commented on the lack of parking but the reality of the tiny island of Ortygia is that driving the narrow streets *barely* wide enough for 1 car is a challenge. If you must drive (we did!) there is cheap parking within 10 mins walk. Get a small car! bring bottled water. Not at all the hotels fault - all the water everywhere on Ortygia is very soft and tastes somewhat salty. uck! |

Very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Good room. I was very dissatisfied with the Internet connection at the hotel. We had to use our credit card for Vodafone, and we had considerable difficulty getting hooked up to Internet, we did not get the time we paid for, and we learned subsequently that our messages did not arrive at their respective destinations. Very unsatisfactory. |

Excellent location, wonderful rooftop restaurant (excpet for the breakfast quite expensive), nice views, friendly and helpful staff, clean room. Good to know that parking is only possible outside the old town, there are two options -parking for 5 minutes walk 24 eur/day, for 10 minutes walk 1 eur/day. This applies to all hotels located in Ortigia. |

Great hotel, very elegant, classy, updated and decorated with excellent taste. Fantastic location, spacious room and a view from the 3rd floor up. Breakfast is an experience on its own with wide variety and high quality, served on the terrace restaurant with a breathtaking view. Free parking just outside. Flawless. |

The location is one of the best in Ortigia, and the terrace where itis served the breakfast may pay for the bill. I have found the atmosphere and the furnitutre of the rooms below our expectation for a classical sicilian hotel. After reserved a room "vista mare" we have been offered for a room from which is possible to look at the sea, but in angular position, not "front to the sea".We had a long argue regarding this and only after long debate we had our room. Really disappointing. |

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant, and its situation on the seafront was convenient and central. We booked deluxe rooms with sea views, which we did not get. The room rate for these rooms was much higher than a standard room, so the expectation was high. It appeared that the hotel had overbooked with a wedding and a conference in the same week, maybe our rooms had been allocated elsewhere. An alternative wasn't offered for us all and neither was a reduction in price. |

Posizione e vista eccezionale, le stanze sul mare ed il roof-garden giustificano da sole il soggiorno. La mancanza di un parcheggio, comune a tutta Ortigia, in ogni caso l'ottimo parcheggio pubblico è a 10 min di splendida passeggiata per l'isola. Peccato che lo staff della reception pur se disponibile, non sia all'altezza della classe dell'hotel per capacità ed esperienza |
