Free parking. There was free wifi in the hotel and it was actually possible to use it (because there were hardly any guests). Room was a decent size (but poorly furnished and uncomfortable). Funicular was 10 min walk, but it was an unpleasant walk with pedestrian path missing in some parts of the road with heavy traffic full of reckless Italian drivers.

Staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. The bed was incredibly hard and uncomfortable. Hotel smelled of tobacco smoke and there were ash trays in corridors in front of the rooms (I believe smoking in hotel corridors is actually prohibited in Italy). Bathroom was in a dire state. There was a plastic anti-slip mat in the shower which had pockets of black mould. Breakfast consisted of prepackaged industrial cakes and pastries and some cheese and salami slices that looked far too stale to eat. There was no coffee served at breakfast! There were teabags on the table, but no hot water or cups to make tea. When I looked around for coffee the member of staff completely ignored me, so I just ate prepackaged cake with some water and left as soon as I could. Given the state of the hotel, poor service and facilities, the room price was outrageously high. Had it been ~30euro per room, I could've put up with this place, but not at double that price. Avoid!
