The staff, location, and rooms were excellent. The rooms had raised ceilings and were painted in a Renaissance style suited for Florence. Overall a great place to stay at a reasonable price. Had issues with our shower door not resting on its hinges properly. It took a little extra effort to get closed. Other than this there were no issues.

Hotel Europa is centrally located in Florence, train station, many shops and historic sites are within walking distance, Hotel Europa is family owned, everyone is very helpful and friendly, Miriam recommended a Tuscan tour, I am so happy for her recommendation. I will definitely go back there for my next trip. There is no wifi in my room

The hotel location was excellent - in the city centre, just a couple of minutes from the Duomo, yet extremely quiet. The people at the desk were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was sub-par. The croissants and bread appeared stale and tasteless. The coffee, though, was excellent.

Good location. No communal area or bar. Very poor breakfast. Charged 48Euros for 2 nights parking which seemed excessive.

Good location very close to the markets and quite close to many attractions in Florence. My room was large with nice furniture. The staff was friendly and they allowed me to use a pc to re-charge my IPod. Hotel Europa is on the 2nd floor of an old building with an old style, very small lift. Once you actually get to the hotel, the rooms are nice; however, I was initially surprised and a bit worried. The a/c was not working properly in my room. I had to specifically ask for the converter for a/c controls on the 2nd day. The breakfast was average for Italy -- mostly sweet buns, jams, yoghurt, coffee, tea, and juice.

The hotel is beautiful and in good condition, seems better than two stars. Rooms were roomy and well furnished, the bed was comfy, shower had great hot water, hotel owners were so nice and friendly. It was about 10 min walk from station and very central to everything we wanted to do. Would definitely stay again. Only the breakfast could be better if fresher pastries & milk. The room was a bit cold at night but still ok.

The room was clean and the bathroom was large. Great location and very quiet! Heat turned off at night, and hotel staff was sometimes hard to reach.

Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable. Hotel très calme et très bien situé pour découvrir la ville. Le petit déjeuner est limité (jus d'orange), il ne faisait pas assez chaud dans notre chambre.

L'Hotel Europa è semplicemente splendido. In posizione centrale, a pochi passi dal duomo di Firenze. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. L'hotel è pulito, curato e il personale è davvero competente, molto cordiale e disponibile. L'atmosfera dell'Hotel Europa è molto accogliente e vi sentirete subito a casa. Un'esperienza indimenticabile!

“Definitely a highly recommended hotel. This may not be the best facilitated hotel I've ever been to, but surely is the most warm and touching hotel I have stayed (especially in the winter of Florence). My wife and I wrote to Italy for our honeymoon trip, we initialy picked this hotel because of its high score in the list, which to be proven as a great decision. The hotel location is perfect, 2-3 mins from railway station; inside the facility is good also, aircon, free wifi, bath, etc all the needed are there. But what really make this hotel unique is the lovely hotel owner MS Victoria. She is one of the best lady i have ever met, she is so kind. After she knows I am on honeymoon, she prepared two great suprise to us, which I will never forget!. It's such a pity that we already booked the railway ticket and hotel in Venice afterwise, otherwise we will stay in that lovely hotel for more days! We will miss this hotel..” Qing, Singapore |
