The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean! Loved it. Breakfast was delicious!
Only disappointment was the wi-fi in the hotel. We could only use it in the common area due to no connection in our room.
The hotel is in a great location, very close to the train station and a short walk to the centre of Modena. The staff were extremely helpful and approachable. Overall, great value for money.
Being near the centre of Modena
Room was small and hot, could not get air conditioning to work, think it might be broken.Could not have window open at night because there was a fire escape walk way outside the window also no curtains just thick nets so had to keep outside shuttersclosed,Breakfast was ok but they were slow to replenish.
easy to reach location lovely staff, very accomodating to requests
restaurant is quite overpriced for the area unless you order the set menu.
The staff were excellent without exception. The breakfast was very good with good choices and open for two hours, 8-10 am. The facilities were clean and the heating was set at a comfortable level
The WI-FI was VERY frustrating, logging you off even after 1 minute of inactivity. This was parrtcularly bad with an Iphone because as soon as the screen wnet to saver, an entire logon was necessary; user name and password. These were changed each day, probably for enhanced security. I asked for a quiet room and yet was allocated a room close to the stairwell and lift on the first floor. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything, so when guests next door arose at 5am, then it was impossible to sleep through the loud conversations and preparations Ditto for late night guests! the hotel is overpriced for solo travellers.
The WIFI signal in the 2nd floor is weak.
Location just in front of Roma Central Railway station, ease of local commuting, Colloseum is a 20min walk
Pathetic wi-fi, breakfast had very limited spread, cramped lobby
When I arrived, I was given a very small, smelly room. Immediately told staff, and they were happy to change the room for me. Location also nice, nearby everythng. One offbeat thing but might be good for fellow travellers. Just 100 meter walk on the same side of the hotel towards city centre direction, and there is one small Chinese take away and eat place. Very inexpensive, but it is good food. Do not b fooled by not so royal looks, but it is worth try.
Nothing that i can remember. Overall nice
Location. Excellent for Ferrari Museum and old town.
Building work in the next building was disturbing in the morning. We complained and were immediately moved to another room. The work may be finished by now.
Staff was very friendly and efficient. Location close to train station and cathedral. Several cafes, pharmacy and kiosks nearby. Although the hotel isn't new, the room offered good comfort, lighting and sufficient work space. All necessary bathroom amenities, incl. tourist tooth brush.
Insufficient sound insulation and could hear the neighbours talking in the adjacent room, but still got a good night's sleep.
We arrived late and the night receptionist was very helpful. Unfortunately there was some kind of event on and the noise from the room above was like listening to a tap dancing competition. Too tired to complain that evening I expressed my dissatisfaction with the room in the morning and the very helpful receptionist arranged a room swap giving us the choice of two- couldn't ask for more. The rooms are practical, clean and the beds comfortable just don't expect the ritz - you get what you pay for and considering the size of the breakfast as well as the location you more than get your money worth here
The hotel is a little dated but that ain't important to us so long as everything is in order which we found it was.
Location is perfect, the bed is comfortable, wifi is fast and its good value for money. Overall a pleasent stay
The parking is funny at best, a large empty garage where all cars are crammed in and you need to ask an employee to move the ones in front of yours to get it out. The entire hotel also looks old as well as the beds and other furniture.
location near to city centre.. 5 minutes walk..
the aircond is a bit ODD for the triple room.. triple room was a two room suite but the aircond is in its lobby so we cant close both ibedroom doors in order to get the air cond..
The staff were excellent.
The furniture and bedding are run down and not up to standard for a three star hotel. Bathroom very small. The smell of the cleaning agent used was overwhelming in the room and bathroom. Hallway carpets very dirty.
good location near to rail station and old town fruits, coffee available all day nice staff clean rooms
very small elevator cleaning service starting vacum very early restaurant open till 11pm
The location. Size of the rooms, comfortable beds.
Wi-fi signal only strong in the lobby, and everytime you go offline, you need a new accesscode. From the two rooms we had, one was nice and the second one was smelly and dark(main windows to the street).
Very conveniently located near Ferrari, Lamborghini and Pagani factories and museums. You can also taste some amazing balsamic nearby. Great breakfast in a room full of Ferrari paraphernalia. Good air conditioning.
Very small garage with room for only 4 or 5 cars maximum. Street parking was free. It seems like a safe part of town, but it's always nicer to keep the car in a garage. Thin towels.
We travelled by train & the hotel was only a 5minute walk from the stationStaff were friendly & efficient & the room was & bathroom were of a good size. The hotel is only about a five minute walk from the city centre which was 'buzzing' as it was a Friday night.Breakfast was typical Continental, bread meats & Cheese, with sweet cakes.Enjoyed our stay & would recommend,as Good value for money.
The room are in poor condition and look over used. The staff were not very helpful or accommodating The cost of hotel room does not reflect the facility. Three star is one star to high
Location, very nice and helpful personnel.
Room and bath size; tiles on the floor.
Wifi terrible. Bedroom was mosquito ridden even though we never opened the windows ! Hardly slept at all because I was scratching all the mossie bites all night.
The place , the staff, the breakfast
Old fasion rooms , needs to be some recondition
Great location for ferrari museum and the Giro D'italia that was taking place when we visited. Free drink on arrival and they allowed us to leave our luggage there after checkout so we could enjoy our last day in Modena without carrying our cases around with us.
Cigarette smoke and noise from bar below until 2am.
Hotel close to main railway station.
Hotel asked for arrival time, and we arrived at the time we stated but room was not ready, were asked to come back later and still not ready. We waited for some time while the receptionist tried to arrange a room for us and eventually put us in a double room when I had clearly booked a twin room. we then had to wait even longer while that problem was sorted. As we were only in Modena for one night (which was just as well because the rooms are very dated, there was building work going on in the next building starting quite early, and the noise was quite loud) it ate into the time we had in the city.
