Score from 760 reviews Very good
The location is great, easy walking distance to things near the Arena. Some staff were genuinely friendly.
The price is high for this hotel due to its location. Family with 3 kids, 355 euro a night. One staff member was noticeably annoyed when I asked where I might be able to buy diapers, like it was below him to offer an answer. Carpets bunch up in the hallways and are constantly making you stumble. I would be dangerous for elderly. Te elevator is always busy, too small. We were on level 4, and I had to wait 5 minutes for the elevator. (Baby in a stroller, not walking the stairs.) Breakfast was so-so. Nothing special for the cost, I've had much, much better breakfasts at many other hotels. Didn't give enough notice on baby bed need, and none was available for first night.
Very comfortable, helpful & friendly staff, room a bit small but then it was such good value overall that didn't matter one bit. & such a fantastic location right in the town centre.
I liked everything & would happily stay there again!
Located in great location.
For me the pillows were too hard & not comfortable. I wish there were more breakfast selections like scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage.
Everything was really great. Best deal you can get for that money
Very good location. Comfortable Beds.
Cannot control heater (room was a kind of hot) and A/C is out of service in Feb. So we had to open the windows to get some fresh air but the street was quite noisy. Wifi with good signal but extremely slow...
Very good location.
Breakfast was poor.
Room was a little smaller than expected. Breakfast was free but not great selection.
We loved the location. It is excellent and close to the old town, shops and restaurants. The rooms were reasonably spacious but with no natural light as both were facing the wall from the next building. The Restaurant staff was very helpful and courteous. This cannot be said, though, for the hotel management staff that was appalling.
Both our car and car of our friends couple were damaged (scratched) while parked in the garage by the hotel employees. We unsuccessfully tried to solve that issue with the hotel management staff. Not only they did not want to discuss the matter, but pretended not to understand English, laughed behind our back, made jocks and called us "morons" in Italian, counting that we will not understand them. They charged us for the parking and didn't even consider apologizing, not to mention anything else. Considering damage made to our cars and our spoiled holiday in Verona, we would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.
The location near the Arena and the Castelvecchio, the breakfast, the quiet room. The hotel is very clean and the staff very nice.
Free wi-fi Location
Location near Arena excellent. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice room and very good breakfast. I would stayhere again.
Excellent location. Safe and secure parking.
Breakfast buffet, comfort of facility, and outward friendliness of wait staff and manager
All but the young man and the night manager seemed disinterested, polite but offered little sociable interaction.
Very quiet and clean and in an excellent location.
The reception staff could be friendlier and more welcoming
Breakfast was really confusing
Excellent choice for location: only 5 min walk from the roman Theater. In the pedestrian area. Very clean. Breakfast ok. Very safe to walk at night.
Show and bathroom rather small though clean. Staff polite but not personnalised service.
Awesome location just 2mins from Plaza and Arena so very safe for night walking. Great little bar on street beside front entrance. Good breakfast. Wi-?fi worked well. Room for three was compact but very adequate - decor colour amazingly bright! Clean and good facilities.
The location was wonderful right in the centre, close to lovely restaurants and the amphitheatre.
Reception.. I found them quite rude, there was no welcome on arrival and when we did speak to them during our stay not once did they smile, they actually made us feel like we were somehow disturbing them. The room was clean and comfortable but there was no view, we looked put on what looked like a private apartments' laundry.
Lovely room, very clean and we'll kept.
It's very very near from Arena.About just 2 minutes. We can enjoy cocktail at caffe in front of arena after opera!
It was close to everything right near the Arena. But, literally, I would have walked 2 miles with my luggage over my head in the middle of the night for a comfortable bed.
The beds were terribly hard and the hotel is so out of date. Or room was incredibly tiny and depressing. The staff was kind of cold and unfriendly except for one guy we met at the end. I really would not ever stay here again
The location was perfect in the middle of Verona. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were good and breakfast was great.
For €180 a night this was expensive compared to many good hotels in Venice.
The location only
Couldn't sleep, it's noisy all the night on the street. The buffet staf not friendly. The receptionist is rude.
