Breakfast was really confusing
Excellent choice for location: only 5 min walk from the roman Theater. In the pedestrian area. Very clean. Breakfast ok. Very safe to walk at night.
Show and bathroom rather small though clean. Staff polite but not personnalised service.
Awesome location just 2mins from Plaza and Arena so very safe for night walking. Great little bar on street beside front entrance. Good breakfast. Wi-?fi worked well. Room for three was compact but very adequate - decor colour amazingly bright! Clean and good facilities.
The location was wonderful right in the centre, close to lovely restaurants and the amphitheatre.
Reception.. I found them quite rude, there was no welcome on arrival and when we did speak to them during our stay not once did they smile, they actually made us feel like we were somehow disturbing them. The room was clean and comfortable but there was no view, we looked put on what looked like a private apartments' laundry.
Lovely room, very clean and we'll kept.
It's very very near from Arena.About just 2 minutes. We can enjoy cocktail at caffe in front of arena after opera!
It was close to everything right near the Arena. But, literally, I would have walked 2 miles with my luggage over my head in the middle of the night for a comfortable bed.
The beds were terribly hard and the hotel is so out of date. Or room was incredibly tiny and depressing. The staff was kind of cold and unfriendly except for one guy we met at the end. I really would not ever stay here again
The location was perfect in the middle of Verona. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were good and breakfast was great.
For €180 a night this was expensive compared to many good hotels in Venice.
The location only
Couldn't sleep, it's noisy all the night on the street. The buffet staf not friendly. The receptionist is rude.
The size of the room too small
Location , in the historic district and a good breakfast
Very well appointed room
This hotel is in a superb location and for the opera it could not have been better. I had requested a quiet room at the back [had been travelling for almost 40 hours] and that is exactly what was provided. I would caution against trying to walk from the train station. If you can afford this well priced hotel you can afford a short taxi trip. At all times the front of house staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was quite adequate, quietly presented with nice staff and the entire place was immaculately clean.
No negatives. I have done a huge amount of international travel and this hotel lived up to all of my expectations. I did not expect 5 star- plus but it had everything that was needed.
- Location - Breakfast - Private car parking for 20 euros
- Terrible smell like vomit in the corridor which we mentioned to reception but was not resolved during the 24 hours we were there. - Basic room too small for a triple - Hard beds - Bathroom was a wet room - Window view of a brick wall
As we were only in Verona for 1 night to see the Opera it was the perfect location.
Triple room was a little cramped but for 1 night it didn't matter.
location , location, location
No extra blankets in the room - it was freezing!
A great location in the city. Clean and comfortable room. Delicious and generous breakfast that makes for a good start. Even with i mention in the negative comment section, i would not hesitate to go back.
Although the staff was generally very friendly and helpful, some members of the frontdesk team were less patient and friendly, but this was compensated by the others, especially the very competent breakfast serving staff.
Hotel Europa is very good for a short trip in Verona because it takes just 2 days to see the sights there. You can relax and enjoy your time in the hotel. Moreover we appreciated breakfast at its true value in the hotel, i mean you can eat italian food till one is full.
Location was brilliant. Breakfast and staff were excellent
Only one pillow per person. Hair Drier not very effective
It is very close to the center and still in a remote spot, so quiet. Breakfast offered gluten-free crackers and muesli and was okay for the hotel standards.
Most of the staff at the reception was quite arrogant and I think it was due to the booking.com deal that we booked. They would help us with any questions, but they were quite inpatient and seemed annoyed by us.
Excellent central location.
Lack of access to drinks, coffee during the day other than breakfast.
So close to the Arena. Marvellous for late opera finishes. Great access by bus to main station from Piazza Bra. Walking distance to all main historic/Art sites and restaurants.
Room rather small. No obvious bar service in hotel
