Just a short walk from the centre, the boat station, the swimming pool and the tennis courts. The central position makes it the ideal starting point for excursions on the lake and in the mountains.(Val Grande, Centovalli, Val Formazza etc.)

This is a really nice hotel with a great outlook across Make Maggiore and perfect for the boat to Stresa and the Borromee Islands. Spacious and comfortable rooms, albeit with a touch of "faded elegance" about it. Decent, if not spectacular, breakfast. |

The hotel was well located and we had a nice room high up overlooking the lake. There was little noise from the road in front. the breakfast was good, and the staff helpful. |

Excellent location, right on the Lago Maggiore and close to the batello imbarcadero and the lakeside promenade. If you can get one of the "Suites with balcony" on the upper floor, you will enjoy gorgeous view of the lake in a very spacious room (though not really a "suite"). Very serviceable staff, english and french speaking. Good breakfast. Quiet surroundings (but see below). This was our second time there, and we would return anytime. Since our last stay, a pontoon has been installed on the lake right in front of the hotel, which can be noisy in the day, when the boats make waves. Less so in the night. No big problem if you stay there in spring or autumn, when you can close the windows. |

We enjoyed our stay and were well looked after. The breakfasts were adequate (we had no other meals in the hotel), and the rooms comfortable though a bit stark. All the staff were helpful. |

It was very convenient for the wedding venue and close to the lake ferry terminal the noise from works on the lakeside pontoon which started at 7 am and finished at 7 pm Friday. Also noise of ropes/tackle slapping against the pontoon |

I can not check any of the above because the place was a real dump. It did not even have air conditioning. The shower did not even have a shower curtain. I would never recommend this hotel to anybody. The decor of the bathroom was in red like a burdel. |

The beautiful vieu from the window.The room is clean, large, comfortable furniture. The brekfast is good. The bath room is big and nice, but very uncomfortable. The shower is fixed to the wall. If one wants to take only a shower the water is everywhere. |
