Large room with large bed and nice green marble bathroom. Good parking facilities. On site restaurant serving good food. Good breakfast.

The day we arrived it was 30 degrees C. The hotel aircon was switched off and they said they could not switch it on. No fans either. The room was like a sauna. They told us to open the window - which just tipped in about 6 cm. This did not cool the room and let all the noise in from the McDonalds directly behind the hotel. We had a very bad night! Following more complaints by me in the morning they moved our room to the front of the hotel saying it would be cooler and less noisy with the window open. Night 2 was nearly as bad. The manager declined to come and talk to me - too busy. We left! I could not recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was neat and compact, and for a quick overnight stop was perfect

We booked a superior room, which was on the 3rd floor, by later found out that the WiFi did not extend to the 3rd floor, which is pretty daft for a superior room

Very clean hotel, located near the walled city of Lucca. The included breakfast was fantastic....much to choose from, and all of it very good.

This is excellent hotel for those who would be touring Italy by car, (it is located in close proximity to the motorway exit) and those who would not mind the lack of attractive view from the window. Plenty of free parking space, free Internet connection (a bit slow though), rooms with enough space, posh marble bathrooms, good breakfast buffet, friendly staff, close distance to Esselunga food store, will guarantee a relaxing stay. Lucca's historical center is reachable on foot, it is about 15-20 minutes walk, and after nice dinner with few glasses of wine this could be the only hassle. Simply, a good hotel in a great city.

Difficult to walk to & from the town due to no pedestrian walkway around the hotel combined with very busy traffic.

Hotel location is very near major motorway, it's junction as well as next to a Mc Donalds; all meaning lots of traffic and thus rather noisy

Hotel is designed for the business traveler but is a comfortable stay for tourists. It is a 20-30 minute walk to the walled city of Lucca and the hotel offers free use of six city bikes. The breakfast is typical Italian and well stocked. Made to order coffee on request. Room was clean and very comfortable with cool air and plenty of hot water. Ample free parking and elevator is available. If you have kids or are eating on a budget it is right next to a McDonalds! Easy access to the a11 Autostrada and a 20 minute drive to Varreggio and 50 minute drive to Florence.

Great restaurant for dinner. Breakfast buffet was better than average.

No room service and amenities after restaurant closing hours, as restaurant is managed separately from hotel.
