The room was cosy, spacious and clean. It was very difficult to find and very far from the city center, when the website says that it is just minutes from downtown. The area it is not the best, as well as the view (to the McDonnald's), not romantic at all. The breakfast buffet was ok, but the fruit could have been more fresh. |

I was there for business purposes and it was a nice hotel for a "sleep over". Nice location near the autostrada. Didn't care much about the McDonalds near by. Cosy, good value for money. According to my experience in these parts of Italy it is not easy to find this kind of quality for this price. Nice solution also to put turkish sauna and fitness one door apart. I went for a run and after 2,5km I was soaking wet - just like being in a turkish sauna at the same time :) A "big shock" for me was a closed bar in the morning at breakfast. Couldn't enjoy a fresh cappucino in the morning. Imagine that in the middle of Tuscany. Shocking really. Apart from this the breakfast was OK - cereals, ham, cheese, english breakfast (almost), tea, "american coffe-soup", juices etc.. |

The hospitality of the lady that booked us in. So friendly and helpful. Made our stay very special. The location was convenient to the main commuter routes and only just outside the walls of the old town. Great value, deal accommodation fo a short break or for those travelling through the area. Would highly recommend it to couples and families. |

Pleasant and helpful staff. On your bookshelf there was a bok entitled "Pieve in Toscana" I have failed to find this book by its title and I would be grateful if you would let me know the author. On one evening the restaurant was 15m late in opening. |

Lovely hotel, staff were very friendly and attentive. Room was spotless and air con worked great. Towels changed and room cleaned daily. Very generous continental breakfast. Only a small point but hotel is about 15 minute walk from the walls of Lucca town, might be a bit far for elderly people and paths just outside the hotel aren't the best. |

We visited Lucca and this hotel was perfect for our needs. However, from the Train Station the hotel was very hard to find. We thought it would be much closer, and therefore there would be no need for a taxi. taxi. |

The hotel was nice and close to the center of Lucca. Very nice breakfast as well. The Hotel was close to a highway but still the room was very quiet. The hotel was a bit tricky to find by car. We had to circulate a lot before finding it. It could have been some more hotel signs closer to the hotel. |

It was near the freeway into Lucca, but since we came into town from the opposite direction, had a devil of a time finding it. This is a basic clean, convenient hotel outside the walls of Lucca. Free car parking - and located next door to McDonalds. Restaurant on site but no other walkable restaurants in the vicinity. Had good breakfast in the morning. Room was small. Had problems with air conditioning but front desk worked with us to eventually resolve problem. Friendly, helpful desk staff. |

The staff were very helpful, the room was clean, good location within walking distance of the city centre. The information given at the front office was very clear, as was the literature in the bedroom. Fantastic hairdryer (might seem trivial but very hard to find the right socket / voltage in Tuscany!) Small points but the lady at the front desk wasn't very happy. Also the facilities e.g. sauna and bar were not well publicised. |

Conveniently located just 500 metres from the centre of Lucca and the motorway exit of Lucca Est, this elegant 4-star hotel offers warm hospitality and professional service. |
Albergo Celide is located in front of Lucca's main landmark, the impressive Renaissance city walls. The historic centre is just a short stroll away. |
Located downtown, between the citizen theatre and the immense Ducal Palace, our hotel is considered one of the historic monuments of the last century. |
Our distinctive hotel nestles within Lucca’s encircling walls, housing rooms decorated in lively colours reminiscent of flowers or with beautiful paintings etched on their walls. |
