Featuring a summer swimming pool and a free scheduled shuttle to Cinecittà and Arco di Travertino Metro Stations, Hotel Capannelle is near Rome's Appia Antica Park.

Discover a quieter, residential part of Rome at Grand Hotel Fleming.
Score from 1647 reviews Very good
Just outside Rome's Villa Doria Pamphili, the NH Villa Carpegna features free Wi-Fi, free parking, a gym, and an outdoor swimming pool. The hotel is in a quiet area, just over 1 mile from the Vatican....
Score from 287 reviews Good
This peaceful Atahotel is set on the edge of Rome's Villa Pamphili park. It features a seasonal outdoor pool, a traditional restaurant, and classically furnished rooms with 5 hours of free Wi-Fi.
Score from 797 reviews Good
Pleasant staff, safe parking, nice green surroundings.
Breakfast needs improvement. We had a high pitch buzz noise from electric panel situated inside the room, so we had to turn off the main power to get a quiet sleep.
Good lokation, nice staff
little various eating
Breakferst (it could not be worse), broken refrigerator, extra paying for swimingpool, gim, bad, bad, bad wi-fi, wi-fi not in the rooms, just in recepotion on 1 square meter......
Nice accommodation with pool to relax by; easy to get local transport (bus)
Wifi only available in lobby
Their Wifi is horrible. They should improve their Wifi.
Fine print indicates a surplus for the swimmingpool , but without stating the actual costs of 12 euro per/person/day
It was cheap
Hotel looking very tired, staff dis-interested in their jobs.
The facilities were excellent, the swimming pool was brilliant the children loved it, And a well equipped gym too Staff were very friendly and helpful
Everything was brilliant will definitely stay again
Clean and spacious room
Travel time to City Center
The Pool was great for the kids, the hotel is away from the main road so it feels secluded; the staff were very attentive and the food was great. I would certainly return and recommend this Hotel.
The Pool was supposedly an extra charge we were adamant we would not pay- they seen sense in the end.
The staff were very nice and helpfull especially the porter who also cleaned the garden, and the vigilante who made us feel very welcome and safe. We shall certainly use this hotel again if we come to Rome. Excellent parking facilities.
Not up to 4 star standard in our opinion. No cover on Mattress c even though sheets were changed every day it's nicer to have two two sheets under. Toilet seat was not attached properly.Bidet moved rather Dangerous:) not attached well to floor. One light above bed didn't work. TV was very difficult to work.
no wifi at all, first day with 30 outside there was no air condition. Not good value for money
staf good comfort good area,
The Excel Montemario is a little on the outskirts of the city but on the contrary it was nice to leave the touristic areas and to relax in the hotel. It is a 20 min bus ride into the city but that did not bother us at all. There are busses until 5 am depending from where you leave. We had our first dinner at the M&G restaurant and we found that it was delicious ( good value for money) we also ate at Da Gabriele which is about a 5-10 min walk from the hotel, this restaurant was recommended and it was absolutely worth while... Furthermore I would like to thank Gian Paolo who to me was the best staff around...... he was the receptionist at the hotel ( but to us was much more) he gave us the history of the area , roads and the actual building and gave us a lot of great tips.. Liliane was also very kind and helpful. We had access to the pool which was included in our room price and that was a great surprise as they normally charge for the pool.
I requested the spa list as it is mentioned in the website that they offer massages and facials etc.. I was there for 3 days and no one was able to help me..( speak english? + staff at the sporting club slightly rude) The hotel is rated a 4 star.. I'm guessing that has to be due to the facilities and surroundings however the hotel is missing a little something ,it should be a little more cozy...I would personally rate it a 3 star. There is a big hospital that you can spot close to the hotel and that takes away part of the charm.. lastly the breakfast. Too many cakes and sweets.. not much choice ( bulk breakfast).. It's not that complicated to make a good breakfast even if included in the room price) all the food is low budget.. yoghurts, cheese etc..
Localisation is nice. Close to bus stop which takes you directly to center of Rome.
Air condition doesnt work even when room was changed to better one. Wifi works sometimes and just around reception desk. Not in rooms Breakfast terrible...nothing to eat exept some sweets and not fresh bread with two choices of a ham. Nothing worm. Swimming pool extra paid plus wearing funny swim caps. It not a 4 star hotel....2 max.
For the start, I must state this was by far the most awful and unpleasant 4 star hotel experience I had in my entire life. Here are the reasons: 1. Our room was extremely small. They may have bigger rooms as their pictures on the website and on the printed presentation advertise, but ours was not of that kind. You had barely enough room to move around, in the room as well as in the bathroom. 2. Our room (and it was the same for the other rooms I could get a glance to) had tiled floor, not wooden floor, like in the pictures!! You felt like you were sleeping in the bathroom. 3. The bathroom had absolutely no means for ventilation. All the bad odours had no other way to go than through our room. 4. The location may be quiet, but this feature is completely invalidated by the thin walls through which you could hear all your neighbours speaking in quite low voices and by the terribly squeaking bathroom door. Besides that, you could hear a lot of noises from different mechanised tools, used for repairs maybe. 5. We had no minibar and they didn't provide it for us even after I have complained and was reassured they will search for a minibar and bring it to our room! I did not complain a second time about it, I was already disgusted by them. 6. The lobby and the decorations were far from that of a 4 star hotel: completely white painted walls, only a few pictures hanged there and there, vintage-like pieces of furniture mixed with modern ones, with absolutely no personality or style. It was a true salad! 7. Yes, you may enjoy the outside pool, but it is not free, it costs 12Eur per day. 8. The location is very remote from everything. Unless you use a rented car, getting to and from the city center, using public transportation means is a nightmare.
The location was excellent - certainly not the centre of Rome, but it gave great opportunity to get in and out of Rome (on the number 913 bus) as required without walking out of the hotel and being in the business that is the centre. Incredible little cafe called Le Club Cafe (Via Sangemini, 61-75) nearby that sell cheap and genuine Italian cafe food, coffee and a relaxing place to sit. Nearby fontanelle (drinking water fountain), too.
The pool wasn't included in the price and was only open for a few hours in the evening.
Public transportation is not easy from this hotel... bus only . Buses in Rome are not tourist friendly. Pool is expensive. Restaurant is ok, not the delicious Italian food we ate everywhere else.
Hotel had a good set of facilities and a lovely jazz evening one night
To use the pool you had to wears hat, pay extra and didn't open until late and closed early. One member of the reception team was useless. Only possible travel into Rome was a 10 min walk to the bus station and then a metro in or a €15 taxi.
Wi-Fi works for random times with a very very low speed only in the lobby. no where else. many people had the problem and the staff only said it should work, it works, wait, we fix it. and I had to use my 3g (8 dollars per MB). my room was already sold before I get there. they gave me another room with very bad condition. somebody else was there before me and his stuff was already in the room. I ordered a pizza with sausage and ... they brought me baked potato and said sorry we only have this while I paid in advance. no body was responsible for anything. no help at all. I never go there again. never ever
The garden for a late drink was nice, very clean and fresh atmosphere in all the hotel.
Some problems with the wi-fi connectivity (to many people in the same time on-line they said), breakfast is ok but not a 4*, a bit to far from the old part of the city, not a big problem if you like to take a bus to the first metro station.(907 Bus to Anagnina Metro Station)
the fitness centre was only open at ridiculous hours when we were out sightseeing. We tried both before we had breakfast and then again when we got home from town and neither times was it open for use - a waste of time and money and the fitness centre was the main reason we booked at this hotel.
Poor breakfast. Noisy gests and cleaning staff early in the morning.
There is good parking places . Facilities are existing but the time we were there ,were closed .
the building is old one . much like old russian buildings . the room floors are ceramic and not good feeling you will have . no big lobby at all .
I stay second time in this hotel. Most i like that it situate in quiet green place, clean and beautiful
Now breakfasts is not so good than in the past and in restaurant is not clean.
