Perfect location (close to all points of interest - walking distance 5-15 minutes), nice and clean rooms with Nespresso coffee-machine and capsules (which you can use for free), delicious breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff! We'll definitely stay again!

It perfectly represents what you expect from boutique hotel. Friendly staff, nice cozy rooms with espresso machine so your coffee is always available, nice big bathroom. Breakfast was perfect, selection of food for such small hotel was excellent. Location is great in small street and few minutes all main sightseeing. If I am coming again, this is the place!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location in Rome was very close to all of the major sites/bus/metro. The breakfast was delicious and healthy. And the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel. There is also a wonderful restaurant very close to this hotel, which when translated means" the duels". Delicious!

In an excellent location, close to picturesque Piazza Navona and the river and close to many sites of interest.

No where to park if you have a car with you.

Room is spacious and extremely clean. Location is great for city visit. The Vatican is like about minutes walk. We loved the area as we could walk around even late at night. Breakfast is exquisite. This is a lovely tastefull colorful hotel.

None of these observations take away the fantastic experience we had with Excel Navona. 1. The hotel's small reception area could use an upgrade to match its great standing. 2. There is a foul smell in the hallways, that spoils the greatness of this sweet environment. 3. One thing to know and keep in mind : if you have friends that would drive you around Rome, they cannot have access to the downtown restricted driving area where this hotel is situated. but this is a general observation about all hotels in downtown ROME.

could be noisy even although it is in a back street away from Navona, however this is Rome and noise should be expected. We got used to it.

The hotel was in an excellent location for visiting Rome's city sites. Tourist can easily walk to the major attractions in the city. The room was nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. The shower had good water pressure and ample hot water. Excel's Internet works very good and they provide a nice breakfast. There are several nice restaurants nearby for evening dinners.

There is a large HVAC unit outside of of the hotel which runs through the night and it is extremely annoying. This unit is positioned such that the seventh room on each floor is above the unit. I recommend avoiding these room seven on each floor if you are a light sleeper.

The Excel Navona is perfectly located so that all the major sites are within walking distance. We walked to the Vatican in 10 minutes, the Pantheon in just 2 minutes and Spanish Steps in about 10 minutes. The hotel is clean, cozy and very well appointed. The room had a Nespresso machine with complementary capsules for a nice jolt before heading down to breakfast.

I had no negative experience with the hotel.

Great hotel at the best possible location in Rome to do sightseeing: close to the Piazza Novana square. All the highlights are at a very close distance (Trevi, Spanish steps, Pantheon, Vatican). Very friendly staff and perfect price - quality relationship.

From the first moment we went inside this hotel the staff gladly helped us with all the information we needed and even before as they arranged a taxi from the airport to the hotel.The most convenient location, 5 minutes to Trevi and Piazza Navona by foot. Nice Breakfast tarts, croissants etc very comfortable room and bathroom with two nice windows facing the little street outside the hotel and beds very very comfortable with little candies on the pillows every day. Many thanks to all the staff we will be back ,soon we hope and will also send our friends.

Only the smell down the lobbys corridor but did not anoy us at all

Everything was great. The hotel was absolutely top service and good location. Especially 24 hour reception is very good (thanks especially Francesca! But of course also the other employees). Price/quality was with our stay 5 nights stay in january excellent. Breakfast even included.

In case you have "light sleep" avoid rooms nos. 307, 207. There is a big fan noise.

The location in the heart of the historical center was perfect to explore Rome by foot. Fantastic breakfast buffet!

At 9.30 am the shower water was not very hot. No problems at other times.

I liked my room very much. The bed, pillows and comforter were so soft and comfortable to sleep in. The hotel staff exceeded my expectations, and were so very helpful guiding me in the right direction for whatever I wanted/needed at the time. The were also so kind to call me a taxi and store my bags for as long as I needed at the end of my stay, so as to not just kick me out. I thought that was very nice. They were also so kind as to offer me a late check-out at no additional charge (granted, it was only for an hour as the hotel was completely booked, which I totally understood. Very very pleasant experience all around.

IF I had to pick one thing I didnt LOVE, it would just be to have the breakfast run a bit later. I think I only made it to one breakfast because I was sleeping past 10 because of the time change. Thats it though.... and that wasnt REALLY a big deal.
