The view from the seventh floor terrace of the Bay and Mount Vesuvius is absolutely splendid and this is what you come to Naples for! The hotel itself is a beautiful oasis of peace and tranquility steeped in old world charm - the perfect place to create your own Elizabeth Taylor movie moment! Whether you stay for just one night or a week, you definitely must stay there

We like the view, the rooms and the ambiance of the building.

The breakfast is served in rather a cramped space The breakfast could be a little better.

Excellent breakfast terrace with a lovely view, very spacious room

You have to pay extra for Wifi, and it's expensive. For such a grand hotel, it was a real let down.

Beautiful location, excellent sea and castle view both from our room as well as bathroom. Our bathroom was very specious and well designed with a large window. Breakfast at roof top was fantastic with picturesque sea view. Great servers and polite staff. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

The View, The Staff, The Staff, The View, the bed, the rooftop lounge with soft cushiony sofas, big windows for the amazing "room with a view", the attention to all the very minute details that take a stay from ok awesome to luxurious and memorable. Highly recommended!

There was not ONE THING I didn't like about this wonderful hotel! Not One! Except that I only stayed one night.

Very good view from the window

WiFi is not included into the room cost and we have to pay separately. But the quality of WiFi was unexceptable even for free wifi!

The bar on the 8th floor has a lovely view over the bay and Vesuvius and is nice for sundowners or even a small meal. The restaurant is excellent. The room was clean and spacious. The street is blocked off so its nice and quiet. The airconditioning works well and is quiet. The interior decoration of the room very stylish.

The wi-fi was erratic, only one device at a time can connect and its not free which is odd for an upmarket hotel. The hair dryer does not function unless you hold down the button, frustrating.

The view from the seventh floot terrace

The internet connection in the business centre was rather slow and for a hotel of this calibre should have been free.

The only virtue of this hotel is the location which is fabulous.

Not a luxury hotel. Massively over-expensive for what it is. Paint peeling in the bathroom. Surly staff.

an old boutique, full of interesting stories

well, for the price of the rooms, I would like more bespoke services, more attention, more luxury details. Most of boutique hotels now offer more for less...

    1. The building interior atmosphere which mantains the atraction in travelling as one of the most enriching human activities. 2. The staff who looks connected to the clients in a balanced way. 3. The location.

    1. Not to exhibit in a better way his interesting history with clients and events. 2. To invest in renovating some rooms type to the best updated sounfproofing. 3. The exterior maintenance.

The views from the top floor.

Restaurants are poor, no la carte service, a poorly assorted buffet without information about the food, very, very poor service. The same for breakfast. Not a good experience at all for this level of hotel. Poor service all around the hotel, except for some in reception and concierge.

location on sea front. Beautiful, traditional hotel, wonderful views from room. Doorman and bar staff friendly and helpful.

Restaurant was closed on Sunday when we arrived, asked for recommendation of alternative. The harbour side restaurant was poor, staff on reception did not care for our comments. Monday, a leaflet had been left in our room offering a buffet meal for 30 euros in hotel restaurant we booked table , but when we arrived there was no buffet so had to take the a la carte meal which was double the price. There was no apology from the staff, it was a mistake, so tough.Being a diabetic I can not just change when and where I eat at a moments notice. When I paid my bill and complained about what had happened the reception staff was quite aggressive and unhelpful. I would not reccomend this hotel.

Perfect in every respect. Wonderful setting. Unbeatable. Could have stayed there all winter. Arnold Bennett (1867-1931) the celebrated English writer stayed there in January 1925 and he thought it was wonderful too.

The roof top terrace restaurant and bar were excellent. The two waiters at the bar were brilliant

No tea and coffee facilities in the room.

We really enjoyed this beautiful hotel. It is clean, very comfortable with charming rooms. The staff are very friendly , helpful and professional. We especially loved the rooftop restaurant and bar with their magnificent views.

The room needs better bedside reading lights.

Rooms are not clean enough, room decoration looks very cheap for this price. Concierge arranged taxi services are more expensive than the real price, beware!
