Luxury hotel with excellent view
They turn off the AC. Told them not their option In US my stay would be free. I don't think they comprehend Breskfast not cooked to order(in the past it was) lying on hot plates getting dry Eill Not stay or Recommend. Your website has to clearly state no air in starting Nov
The free wireless coverage was good, the breakfast was excellent. Location and view overlooking the gulf of Naples was magnificient.
No boiler in the room.
V good concierge service.
One good and one poor restaurant recommendation
Friendly reception -- very good breakfast -- excellent location
The room service at night hours was no good --
A beautiful building, in so many ways; definitely the loveliest view possible of the Gulf of Naples; very friendly staff; very nice breakfast. Basically everything was delightful
A wake up call was booked, but no call was received.
the atmosphere puts you back into time of elegance without the loud luxury of our present 5 star hotels. the service is impeccable and friendly. the breakfast room with its high ceilings, tall windows where the morning sun rushes in as you look at the mt vesuvius across the bay is a delight for all the senses. not many such hotels are left..
Breakfast on the roof terrace was excellent - a splendid view, and great selection of food.
No proper evening meal. On our first night, there was a buffet in the ballroom. We were the only customers that night! It was rather lonely. The next night only bar meals were available for guests as the hotel had been taken over by a party. We didn't eat in the evenings in the hotel after that.
Definitely worth paying the extra for a deluxe room which has spectacular sea views. Staff were all professional, friendly and very helpful. Prices for food and drinks very reasonable considering standard of hotel.
Nothing about hotel but if getting a taxi from airport, agree a fixed price of no more than 30 euros as we got ripped off on the way there by a driver who took us all around the houses and charged 40 euros!
The staff was very helpful and kind. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are superbe.
The breakfast. For a 5 stars they could do an effort.
The bartender on the top floor bar. The bed.the linen, the view.
The lack if a really good bar when the weather is poor. The general air of being a chain and thus not entirely loved, as it must have been once.
1st night, being given a room without a balcony even though the photo on the website had it. Apparently it was the only room on the floor with sea view which doesn't have a balcony. Asked the receptionist to change it and they managed to change it on the following night.
the location near the sea, nearby good restaurants ,overlooking the sea , managed to hire a boat and be shown the near by area , refreshing!
We had an evening flight back to London and asked if it would be possible to keep a room. They said no unless we paid. We went to a local beach as it was very hot and the hotel has no pool. We asked to borrow towels; they said no. Most unhelpful. Also very average breakfast
Noise from adjacent bathroom
The view from the seventh floor terrace of the Bay and Mount Vesuvius is absolutely splendid and this is what you come to Naples for! The hotel itself is a beautiful oasis of peace and tranquility steeped in old world charm - the perfect place to create your own Elizabeth Taylor movie moment! Whether you stay for just one night or a week, you definitely must stay there
We like the view, the rooms and the ambiance of the building.
The breakfast is served in rather a cramped space The breakfast could be a little better.
Excellent breakfast terrace with a lovely view, very spacious room
You have to pay extra for Wifi, and it's expensive. For such a grand hotel, it was a real let down.
It was a very elegant hotel run by a very professional staff that focused on superior customer service. We highly recommend this hotel!
Beautiful location, excellent sea and castle view both from our room as well as bathroom. Our bathroom was very specious and well designed with a large window. Breakfast at roof top was fantastic with picturesque sea view. Great servers and polite staff. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!
The View, The Staff, The Staff, The View, the bed, the rooftop lounge with soft cushiony sofas, big windows for the amazing "room with a view", the attention to all the very minute details that take a stay from ok awesome to luxurious and memorable. Highly recommended!
There was not ONE THING I didn't like about this wonderful hotel! Not One! Except that I only stayed one night.
Old fashion luxury hotel.
Very good view from the window
WiFi is not included into the room cost and we have to pay separately. But the quality of WiFi was unexceptable even for free wifi!
The bar on the 8th floor has a lovely view over the bay and Vesuvius and is nice for sundowners or even a small meal. The restaurant is excellent. The room was clean and spacious. The street is blocked off so its nice and quiet. The airconditioning works well and is quiet. The interior decoration of the room very stylish.
The wi-fi was erratic, only one device at a time can connect and its not free which is odd for an upmarket hotel. The hair dryer does not function unless you hold down the button, frustrating.
