Lovely old style hotel in an excellent position. We had a room overlooking the lake.
Beautifull location, convenient and easy for getting around
Food was not good at their restaurant
the outstanding view from our balcony
Wifi very inconsistent.
We had 4 wonderful days in Bellagio, staying at this hotel. We had a beautiful room overlooking the lake with a comfy bed and lovely bathroom. The hotel was clean and the staff were superb. The breakfast was everything we needed and had lots of choice. The position of the hotel is excellent. We wouldn't have stayed anywhere else!
need to improve shower space
The lake view room The breakfast The location
Nothing comes to mind
Staff helpfulness. An orderly hotel.
The restaurant, on the night we arrived, seemed open for a very short time. Perhaps there was an exterior restaurant e didn't know about
The view from our room was incredible! The hotel could not have been in a better location across the street from the ferry. The front desk was helpful and the breakfast was more than adequate. Stayed three nights and will certainly return.
The location was perfect for the stunning views of the lake and alps.
This hotel is in a beautiful location. The views of the lake and the alps are stunning and romantic. The room was spacious and clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. However, The staff were rude and openly showed their intolerance and impatience when serving breakfast. Breakfast was from 7.30 to 9.30am, however at 9.15am, for the four mornings we were there, the staff were showing their displeasure visually through body language, shaking their heads and facial expressions. Even the food stopped being replenished around this time. They obviously wanted to clear the room to set up for the lunch. The hotel restaurant is also outside the hotel and at 6.00 pm ( a little early to eat dinner in Italy) we asked for a table to enjoy a wine and perhaps a snack. We were talk by the waitress that she doesn't serve fresh food. So, without hesitation we walked away. A nice hotel over looking the beautiful lake, but the staff were rude and I felt like I had stayed at Fawlty Towers and I was under the care of Basil, Polly and Manuel.
We needed to pay for wifi and the connection was extremely bad. We practically wasted our money for nothing. The TV was too small and the quality was bad.
Best location, place to stay on Lake Como.[ was our 4 th trip] Staff extremely heplfull , friendly and a great breakfast.
Maybe tea/coffee facilities in room?
Having stayed in this hotel a number of years ago there is little to like now in this very tired facility. The staff make what is already a challenging environment worse with a surly and unhelpful attitude. To be seriously considered only if this is the last bed available in Bellagio
Location was amazing our room faced out on to the riviera of Bellagio views of the lake were amazing, walking distance to ferries and bus. Breakfast was good variety daily, large room, clean, good atmosphere romantic.
Wifi not in room, no fridge,
Location,outside terrace, closeness to ferry
Nothing to dislike
Great location which is so central
The location does have it's down side as the ferry is opposite and can be noisy. Gardeners started at 7am both mornings with very noisy leaf blowers! No leaves to blow!! Very firm bed and pillows, not the best nights sleep ever Bathroom lacked a full shower Staff a little stuffy Breakfast was very poor, dreadful coffee
Location near to ferry Restaurants in town were excellent Lake Como very attractive in the morning sunshine.
Breakfast: Hopeless. Bathroom: awful little sachets of soap etc Air conditioning: Have to keep asking for it to be switched on. So either freezing or hot... Hotel full of sad faced package tourists: such a shame that they can't experience a real Italian hotel.
Location was great. Right near the shops and restaurants. Breakfast was decent (surly staff though). Lobby was grand and welcoming. Air in room was sufficient - good blackout lighting. Front desk helpful in getting reservations.
Room was a decent size, but very sparse. Entire hotel was just a bit tired...maybe because I was at the tail end of the season. I think overall, the price was fair...but I had a room facing the side (though I requested 9 months ago a lake facing room). My colleague's room was facing the back and had a putrid smell - like the sewage system was in it - for the entire stay. Make sure you don't face the inside/back of the building.
Close proximity to the main section of Bellagio. Water views, cleanliness of room and decent breakfast.
Wifi is unreliable. You need to sit in the foyer to get a reasonable connection.
Location right adjacent to the car ferry and central to all amenities in the town.
Could be noisy when there is entertainment across the road in the restaurant
Location is perfect!
Very over priced!
Excellent location, great lakeview, my special diet was noticed for breakfast, clean hotel.
Rooms could have been a bit more cosy.
Location, location, location.
Air conditioner - put out a light throughout the night (even when off) which made it a little hard to sleep. It was good value for money but more than we would normally spend - but it is Lake Como!
