Everything was very nice. The room was very charming and nicely decorated. Also the breakfast was very good. The only negative thing was the fact that there is no parking available.

I chose to stay at the Excelsior Hilton Palermo because of a special offer which makes advising others on its value difficult. The hotel is all you'd expect of a early 20th century palatial building, complete with mahogany panelling, gold painted glass and chandeliers. The bedrooms are average size and mine even had a balcony overlooking the park next door. The hotel has a good restaurant and excellent breakfast. The hotel is on a boulevard of shops, but is a half hour walk to most of Palermo's other attractions, such as the historic quarter and harbour.

The proximity to the shops and to the Palermo marathon. The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful, and the amenities were poorly maintained. The website boasts of a top-quality gym, but the actual gym was incredibly small, unhygenic and run down.

It was superb we had booked a 2 night stay in a king room with a garden view for €280 when we arrived we had beebread upgraded to a corner suite with separate lounge area, one of only 6 in the hotel. Brilliant and staff couldn't have been more helpful

I am really satisfied with staying at this hotel. The room was huge, clean, and comfortable. The room has also a terrace, for a view on Via della Libertà, which is right one of the main streets of the city. The price was extremely convenient, and the breakfast was rich. I have no concerns on this hotel.

The location was excellent. The shuttle from the airport stops right in front of the hotel, also the city buses stop very close to the hotel. The surrounding area is nice, lots of good restaurants and theaters. Our room was big and comfortable, the bathroom was nice too. The breakfast was delicious. The only thing that needs improvement is the carpeting in the halls and room. It seems a little old and needs some updating. But overall a nice experience.

The central location on the main boulevard is excellent. The staff very friendly and helpful with a noise problem. Being sensitive to noise, the hotel on the main boulevard can be extremely noisy. Also, the central courtyard a/c is too noisy.

Estuve en el Hotel Excélsior porque soy socio de la cadena Hilton. El lugar esta muy bien y se localiza en un edificio histórico muy bien conservado. Sin embargo, pese a que nos alojamos en una habitación de lujo (junior suite) los servicios no fueron equivalentes con lo pagado. No había ventanas y se escuchaban ruidos de la cocina desde muy temprano. El gran problema es que el servicio de wi fi lo cobran a precios exhorbitantes (13 €) por día, lo que disminuye la calidad de las prestaciones. Del hotel no me gusto la precariedad de algunos servicios. Por ejemplo, no hay maleteros en un hotel que te lleven hasta el auto tus cosas, sus atenciones se quedan en la puerta del hotel. El wi fi es muy caro
