Jeg troede at jeg havde bestilt et 4 stjernet hotel som på billederne ser rigtig godt ud - men virkeligheden ligger langt fra billederne. Lobbyen var nydelig som på billederne. Værelset lå ikke i forbindelse med de normale værelser - dette værelse var som et ekstra værelse hotellet havde etableret på kvisten efter branddøren.

Værelset kan ikke bruges til udlejning.

Nothing extraordinary, but pretty nice and queit. Clean, the stuff is cooperative and helfful. Fair price and nice location.

The helpful recommendation for some very good nearby restaurants.

The rooms look nothing like advertised on booking.com. They are small and uninspiring for the price. There was no hot water in the morning and the breakfast was... well it was not particularly inspiring either. If you are able to pay a little extra to stay somewhere else then this would be my only recommendation for this hotel.

The building is fine, the hall is beautiful, the standard room is ok but not excellent. In the end it's good for the price.

Hotel is on 10 minutes walk from Railway Station, as the area near railway station at night is not so safe so this is ideal location. You can see whole Florence by walking and all the famous locations are on walking distance. Hotel is very beautiful and comfortable.

Lift in the hotel is very small it even refuses to go up with 3 people. In bathroom the shower is located in center with very thin boundary and curtain, if you don’t take shower decently the water will spread all over the bathroom and there is no drain out of that boundary but an ideal place to stay.

The staff were very helpful in recommending local restaurants and providing general information.

It was a pleasant stay and its rates were reasonable.

Directions to the hotel from the train station were not communicated well. It is really simple, but the language barrier made it more difficult. We ended up wandering around for an extra hour with our luggage. The pillows were tiny, more like one layer of badding in a pillowcase. The room was muggy; our laundry wouldn't dry because the a/c only worked when we were in the room. Our key in the slot was the source of all power. The water smelled bad, so it was barely drinkable. We could smell the water even just when showering. Watch out for mosquitoes; we got eaten alive.

Immaculately clean rooms, walking distance from rail station and easy walking to all sights. Mini bar was useful as hotel bar was never open.

Reception staff were unfriendly and miserable.

The hotel is located not very far of railway station and all touristic places of Florence. Comfort is good.

Small room.

The hotel is very well located in downtown Florence. It's only about 10 minutes walk from the main railway station and about 15-20 minutes walk from the Duomo (nice along the river Arno). Included breakfast is very good - they serve warm bread and plenty of stuff to choose (you can even order cappuccino freshly made for you). Staff is very helpful - no problems with communication in English. The room was very clean and quiet.

Classic rooms are rather too small. They definitely need "updating" - furniture, windows etc. are very old (too old for 4 stars hotel). The same as for bathroom. Although they have air condition, it's either too stuffy or too "windy". The hotel is good rather for no more than 2 nights stay.

There was nothing to like

First, the rooms are very noisy because all of them turn to the main street. Second, air conditioning doesn't really works. The temperature can't be controlled neither the fan speed!! Third, every thing in the rooms is very old and not clean at all, and the shower was broken!! We asked the staff for a different room, but they claimed that nothing is wrong and that every thing works just perfectly. They were very rude about it. The breakfast also was very poor!

Room 106 was probably the most elegant hotel accomodation I have encountered in my travels.
