Best breakfast we've had this trip. Room was comfortable &'big enough. Very clean. We were not unhappy. Location was good.
Room warm and a/c never came on, no way for us to operate. Kelp door partway open due to heat & lots of mosquitos. I was bitten a lot, my husband not at all.
The rooms were nice and the staff were helpful.
Like all Italian hotels, a bit expensive for what you get! The star rating system is not the same as other areas of the world.
Close to S. M. N. railway station. Clean room with new furniture.
Reconstruction works (?) one floor below -- quite noisy. And so are the streets in front of the building. Lift only goes to the 3rd floor, then there is a pretty steep staircase to reach the 4th floor. Unimpressive breakfast for four stars.
The hotel is nice, breakfast is good.
We got a room under the roof, which was not at 4 star level. The room was very small, the furniture was not at all at the level shown at the pictures by ordering.
Great location. Good people. Worked great for our purposes.
Location, staff, comfort.
Breakfast is good, but somehow limited.
Rooms were nice we had a small balcony. Breakfast was included.
Staff was unable to make reservations at the Uffizi or the Academia. We spent hours in the no reserved line.
Location!! The Concierge, Ricardo, who made things easy. The lobby sitting area. The bathroom was luxurious!
AC weak compared to US. Room very small...no place to sit other than the bed but got great rate.
Comfortable and quiet. Easy walking in Florence so well located - also can walk to hotel from train station, even with luggage on wheels. Great restaurants locally - reception staff know where they are.
Felt a bit neglected at breakfast with only one member of staff- made it feel quite impersonal. We found this all over Italy though - minimal staff and you pretty much had to set your table with cutlery as well as doing all your standard up and down to the buffet for food , plus all the cutlery, crockery etc you realised you needed. I would go back to this hotel though if revisiting Florence
Close to all of Florence's beautiful landmarks but far enough to not be overwhelmed by all the crowds. Also easy to get to from the train station.
Breakfast. .too many pastries. Not enough simple healthy food choices available !
We only stayed one night but the hotel was lovely and the staff was very helpful.
The A/C wasn't very cool.
Beautiful hotel in historic building. Large rooms, nice period decor. Comfortable beds. Nicce bathroom. Beautiful public areas. Excellent breakfast with typical Italian fare as well as eggs, bacon etc for the North American crowd. Easy 10 min walk to train station. Good 15 min walk to centre.
Nothing. It was all good.
Staff Service Quality of rooms There is a certain charm in the way they have maintained the hotel.
Everything about this place was super. The room and bathroom were a nice size. ( I'm an American) The place was beautifully kept. The location was great. The staff were polite an very helpful. The breakfast was good. I would stay here again without any second thoughts...also close enough to walk to and from the main Train Station, for those making use of Eurail. If I could only choose one word for the place I'd have to say Restful...which when you're running around seeing the sights is a very nice place to recharge!
The only thing I didn't love about the place was the coffee...really that's it.
Breakfast Wi-Fi Spacious room
Air con was a bit loud overnight
The location was perfect. It was in a walking distance to historical sites. It accommodated my infant son perfectly. The staff were great. It was very close to restaurants and pastry shops. I never forget Florence and I would definitely like to visit this city again.
Excellent staff Cosy lobby Transport availability Location
Very poor breakfast Furniture and equipment of the room and bathroom needs recovery The lobby bar works just on your request This is not a standard of 4star hotel
Great staff, great breakfast, very clean, comfortable, good location... I especially liked thwarting children's cots and blankets they provided.
Our room was facing the street and it was very loud and the curtains did not block a lot of light from the street or the spotlight that the hotel has shining on their logo outside our room. This wouldn't keep me from staying here again, I would just ask fir a different room. Otherwise great.
The staff, Good breakfast, close to The interest part of The city
We stay in one of The oldest room, plenty of space, but ti was old
Lounge was comfortable
Pillows and bed very uncomfortable tv not working and breakfast poor
The staff was helpful with every single request we had, the breakfast was varied and good, the room was nice, big and clean. The hotel lobby is a place to spend time in, very nice feel to it.
Location - close to railway station and major tourist sites Helpful, friendly staff
Very good value for money
Superior Front Desk staff. I requested a quiet room and that is what I received. The location is convenient but still away from the chaos of high season. Max.10-15 Minute walk to most of the main attractions. Clean. Ac worked perfectly. Ample breakfast. Very pleasant lobby.
My single room was very small even by European standards. The room had an odd smell but I think that had more to do with minerals in the water than any issue with cleaning.
