The assistance that was given to me in respect of helping me to get my e-tickets and boarding passes for my flight back to Aust printed out. The lack of the W-fi on the upper floors of the hotel and hence having to go down into the dinning area to use our lap top. Lack of tea/coffe making facilities in the rooms. Some where to hang wet clothing. Would also have been nice to have been able to borrow an iron would have been handy, or information as to how to get to a laundrette would have been handy (this sort of info should be in the information folder

The helpfulness of the staff. The hotel was in easy reaching of public transport. The resturant that was recommended by the hotel which was only a short walk away was excellent. The safe in the room The 7am start for breakfast, should be 6.30 as often people are departing the hotel for tours of the city and being collected around 6.30. Also when departing the hotel for an early flight the same problem occurs. Maybe they could also have a better system when they do a "boxed" breakfast when you are having to leave prior to the breakfast beginning, firstly the first "boxed" breakfast had bottle fruit juice, but the lids needed a bottle opener which we did not have!! Also I cannot eat certain foods so on the first one I asked that one lot (we needed two breakfasts) did not have breads etc in as I cannot have flour, the bag was then full of fruits and I have to be careful where fruits are concern as they can be too acidic for my stomach, so if they could have a sheet that one could tick to say what their first choices for a packed breakfast would be that would help so much, this I mention because I had booked the room with breakfast included and therefore I expect that if they are unable to have you have breakfast in the dinning are before you leave to either go on a booked tour or to be on your next leg of your trip, you are still due you breakfast. Lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The complicated lighting system in the room. Particularly frustrated that I could not have the light on the desk on its own which I needed at night time early hours of the morning so that I could utilize the laptop whilst my partner was asleep, but it only went on when all the other lights were on. No where to hand up washing, could not afford the cost of using their laundry service. We might have been in Rome, but we were definately doing our holiday on a very strict budget as we were utilizing the time that my partner was in that part of the world for 6 months with work, and he was on his mid deployment leave, hence only one airfair to to paid. Double rooms should have two suitcase stands.

On the whole the staff tried to be very assistive to solve problems as they arose That the room was not as it was shown in the pictures on the website. That breakfast did not begin until 7pm, 1/2 hr too late, especially when tours are collecting you at 6.30 or you are off to the airport prior to 7am. When we had a bag of breakfast items, half the items I couldn't eat because of my medical problem and the bottles of fruit juice needed a bottle opener which we didn't have. The lack of a chair in the room (I shoudn;t have had to ask for one). Lack of hanging space, lack of storage for clothing etc. Only one suitcase stand when two are using the room. Lack of an iron. Lack of coffee/tea making facility. Lack of clock radios.Shouldn't have had to ask for more pillows (only two pillows for a double bed). improvement need with the internet connections in the bed rooms.
