We thought Hotel Farnese rooms were a nice size for Rome. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. The staff in the lobby were helpful to make reservation for us at a restaurant and helped us set up a tour . Over all very accommodating. |

The friendly staff, the breakfast buffet, the hotel itself and the neighbourhood. It was also convient to have the metrostop Lepanto on the corner. The noise of the traffic and the cleaningmen in the street, we like to sleep with the window open, but okay we know this is Rome...... |

We liked the location of Hotel Farnese because it was in a quiet neighbourhood and walking distance to all rome attractions. Our hotel room was broken into while staying at hotel farnese which was very disappointing because we believe it was done by staff. |

Quiet place, excellent location near metro stop and Vatican, good breakfast spread, pleasant and helpful staff, comfortable and clean room, our's had a beautiful stylish bathroom. Smallish room - which seems inevitable in big European cities unless one is prepared to pay a fortune. |

the stay was very good and the staff very friendly. They had a answer to every question. The atmosphere of the hotel was quiet and pleasant . We did have a problem with the beds. They were too hard to our taste! |

My wife became ill during the stay and the staff went out of their way to make her feel better and even extended our stay to help. The personal attention was better than I have ever recieved at a hotel. Even the basement rooms were very nice, but the basement smell could go. |

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable, nicely decorated with class. Breakfast is delicious, the breakfast area is situated on the roof terrace with a superb view on Saint-Peters dome. There is a problem with the heating system: it was simply too hot in my room (the room where the children stayed was cooler) and I could not adjust the temperature. The only solution was to sleep with open windows so I was awakend by the traffic in the morning. Perhaps the management of the hotel has cold feet, because overall it was rather warm in the hotel (eg breakfast area). |

Very good breakfast - located on a pleasant terrace; politeness of hotel staff; good location (about 10 minutes walking to Piazza dei Popolo), easy to find a parking place. A little bit pricey, compared to other hotels where I stayed in Italy |

Excellent choice for us. The location was next to a metro stop and walking distance to the Vatican. If you have a baby or small child that needs to sit in a trolley you have to carry the trolley up and down stairs many times, to hotel entrance door and up and down stairs to metro (subway). This is a not a problem specific to this hotel, but to Rome in general (more than any other city I have been to) |
