Hotel Fawlty Towers  

Very good value for money, hotel located close to Termini central station. Clean room and good bathroom.

Breakfast a bit small and wi-fi not really good. Not a big problem for us, considering the price we payed and the perfect location for a short holiday in Rome

Room number 6 is located just near reception and buffet. Window is between the room and terrace for breakfast. So, one may sleep after coming last reception visitor, and before the first buffet visitor.

We were impressed. It was incredibly clean and beautiful. The staff was very helpful too. The room was very comfortable, quite large bathroom. The breakfast was also great: tasty croissants, tart and marmalade. It is located literally next to the termini station (one block away).

I liked the fact that the room on the the 5th floor was newly furbished and LCD in the room. Bathroom was very good, clean. The room was tidy and clean, and cleaned every day. The personnel knew very well English and very nice and helpfull. It was great to go outside and have breakfaston on the outside terrace. For us it was a very pleasant stay in this hotel. I defintely recommend. Location is very good - very very close to Termini station - there are 2 supermarkets. Easy to reach all sightseeing attractions from Rome.

The name of the hotel...should be spelled as faulty towers

Horrible experience, booking.com should exclude this hotel to save their own reputation.no facility like intercom, proper heating, bad behaved staff who restricts you from eating in free breakfast option, very cheap hotel with huge cost.

i) For starters, Fawlty Towers is really close to Termini Station and this is quite an advantage for the average tourist who wishes to have quick and easy access to most of the city's areas. ii) Our room was cleaned and taken care of every day. The room was also recently renovated (although this stands just for the 5th floor's rooms of the hotel). iii) We had hot water all day and night long. iv) In general, good quality for its price and it's more than sufficient for a 2 star accommodation. Therefore, one of the best options for those who seek just a comfy bed to rest, have a shower and live in a clean place those few moments/hours of the day when they aren't out there discovering and enjoying Roma.

Well... of minor importance (to us, at least), but negative whatsoever: i) the thin walls, "offering the opportunity" to share with your neighbours and stuff more that you desire, ii) the small elevator (3 persons max) that fails to cover the needs of 3 hotels in the same building and all of their guests and iii) the lack of decoration in our room (get a poster at least, please).

Breakfast is very nice and location is awesome! Very close to train station. And there is a very good Chinese restaurant nearby

No wifi in the room and the bathroom is not good.

Hotel site mentions that breakfast is free. But it is very limited. Just one piece of bread and coffee. When asked, staff mentions that it the culture in italy. But I havenot seen thsi culture anywhere else in Italy. It is better to remove the breakfast option.

Newly decorated facilities, comfortable, brilliant Shower, nice sized room. Nice continental breakfast. Very good value for money.

The street entrance, this could put some people off.

Breakfast, personal and cleaning were good. Being close to the central station was perfect for us. We could walk to most of the tourist places. I will recommend it for sure.

The room was small but it was not a problem.

The hotel is really great for the low price. The location is great. The stuff very helpful. The room and the bathroom are very clean, the bed sheets fresh, there is even tv on the wall. Breakfast is good, sweet croissant, tart and hot cappuccino. You can eat on the terrace and "breath" Rome.

Very nice staff and wonderful real italian espresso in the morning. And it's just one minute from the Termini station. The hotel is worth its price.

A little bit dirty bathrooms but we didn't expect anything better for that price.

Noisy when other dormers enter and go out of the hostel. Thin walls.

Maybe the poor breakfast..

Location is 3 minutes away from termini, so it's quite convenient. Price is not bad for a hotel near termini.

Service is very poor. Didn't allow us to leave our luggage. Had to leave keys at reception every time we went out. There is no wifi in the room. Shower very small. Water very cold on our 2nd day of stay.

For the price it´s excellent.

The staff was very frindly. They solved a problem with our room. The situation is great. 1 minute from Termini station. The bus from the airport is just there.

The location is great, the rooms are basic, the fifth floor rooms are way better than the sixth floor ones, staff is polite, breakfast is ok for what you are paying, i would recomend it for budget travelers wanting to visit Rome

A little noisy during night, room maintnance could be better, comforters were not clean, the sheets were though.

the location was excellent. The staff werre very nice . It is what it say a budget hostel/ hotel. The saying is you get what you pay for.

I didnt like the lift very old and scary. Their was a smell of smoking in the room and in the corriders , its horrible.

Everything. Not a 5-star hotel, but great value for money, excellent location and very helpful staff. Giovanni (? young Romanian man) in particular extremely cooperative.

Everything was OK. Great localization, 5 min bare foot from Roma Termini. Staff is very kind, rooms - clean and breakfast - tasty :) Prices are very low, surely we'll come back to that hotel!

Near Train station, bus station and bus to airport. New renovation, small but clean.

Breakfast is not good enough. The streets around hotel are not clean. The hotel sign is to small and is on other side that is hard to see.

Location excellent, good value for money, clean well maintained rooms, friendly and helpfull staff. The use of the kitchen and the little rooftop garden helps with budget travelling.

The lift is small , but nothing can be done sbout that. However something can be done about the breakfast. It is hopelessly too sweet. Lots of people ourselves included bought our own breakfast food and only had some of their fruit juice and coffee. The computer keyboard can also be replaced

Great location, kind staff. Stayed at the 5th floor in a "Superior room", which includes air condition and tv. We had room 3, which is the last room on the corridor and unfortunately the wifi signal was not strong enough to reach it. The breakfast includes only sweet bakery, but it was all right, and also had a nice view from the terrace.
