Hotel Fenicia  

I stayed in the hotel for 1 week and overall was very pleased with the hotel. We booked a double room but received 3 bed room for the same price. It was bigger and more comfortable according to them. And indeed it was. Room had its own balcony and mini refrigerator. It came very handy when the only breakfast the hotel served was some pastry and a cappuccino. There was an air conditioner, its placement in the room was very good so you didnt get the direct cool air on you, but the whole room gets cooled down (so we actually slept with it on without getting sick). The service was excellent the receptionist explained everything and gave us a map upon your arrival with everything marked: supermarkets, cafes and good restaurants near by etc. Staff spoke good English as well.

The walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the neighbours. We couldnt sleep since your neighbours liked to take long shower at 5 in the morning and sing along the tv at midnight! The wifi was free but it was only available near the reception area and since we lived on the 4th floor and the reception was on a first you couldnt quite use as much as I wanted. Moreover the beds were very very hard, like sleeping without a mattress. The shower cabin's door was hard to close and open.

I really liked the staff. The two fellows gave me a lot attention and orientation regarding the transportation system in Rome and touristic sites. As my first time visit, I had only two days to visit the main spots and the staff they kindly helped me a lot. Very polite as well.

Hotel is very close to central train station. Hotel reception is on 1st floor of building. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Reception area has use of laptop and WIFI for free. Rooms have flat screen TV, just shame no working english TV channels. would stay here again as excellent value!

Walls are very very thin. The people in room next to us were showering at midnight each night and constantly pulling toilet chain. This made it hard to sleep due to thin walls.

Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Staff were extremely helpful.

25 minute walk into centre of Rome

Staff cordiale, camera nuova e pulita. Posizione centralissima vicino a Metro e treno. Kind staff, room clean with new furniture. Central position near Metro and trains.

La colazione è fuori dal Hotel. Breakfast is outside the Hotel.

I will book with this hotel again. It is not waw but it is ok for short stays.

The hotel is right next to Termini station, but not noisy. The room was nice and clean, with all ammeneties needd. Very friendly staff.

The hotel is basic but fair.

There is only two real negative things I would mention. The main owners of the Hotel can hardly speak English and its really difficult to communicate with. The have a receptionist that come in most of the time, he is extreemly rude and not helpful at all. The second thing is they are on top of a restaurant so till late at night you will hear the naise from the kitchen and the noise of dishes and kitchen staff.

24 hour reception, location...

No wi-fi connection at the hotel, there is only one public PC for the customers at reception, and they did not let us to use the computer more than 15 mins. The breakfast costs, we didn't have the breakfast. The smallest hotel room that I have ever seen. We stayed 4 nights, and didn't like it. I do not recommend....

Really clean, 24 hour reception, quiet and a great location near the station. Worth the visit just to see the teeny elevator. Awsome value for money.

The bathroom was miniscule, literally knees touching the wall when you're on the toilet. But it was very clean and we were only there one night so it wasn't really a problem.

The Location.inexpensive.
