Conveniently located between the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the main Termini station, Hotel Ferrarese puts you in the perfect position to discover all that Rome has to offer. At just a 5 minute walk from the train station, where you can catch buses or the Metro to all the city’s most famous sights, Ferrarese is also at walking distance from many important tourist attractions. The Coliseum and the Roman Forum are just a pleasant 10 minute walk away and Piazza Venezia and the Trevi Fountains can also be reached on foot. The hotel has recently been renovated and offers you modern accommodation and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The spacious rooms come equipped with modern comforts and the hotel also has its own café, where you can enjoy a creamy cappuccino or a refreshing cold drink. Auto-translate: The only thing that can boast of this hotel - it is their own label on a bag of shampoo. We stayed there for 3 days - including two days without hot water. Batteries in the TV remote control was not - only brought with third request. At the request was not included in our room and did not remove it, nodded agreement, in fact - came and cleaned. Worst breakfast I have never met in a hotel, the whole breakfast consists of coffee, dispensed from a barely working system, and stale croissants. Shower is not convenient to take - prevents the toilet. In the shower (there and toilet) door is not closed on the lock - this too I have never seen.

The location of this hotel is its best point. It only takes 5 minutes to Centrale Termini which means you can save a lot of time if only staying for one or two nights getting to and from the airport or other destinations by train from Rome. Considering the cost, there is not enough value for money. The rooms are very small and the website for this hotel does not indicate clearly enough that some rooms are not airconditioned.

The only thing that might make you mant to stay there is that the hotel is litterally next door from Termini main Rome train station. I had to take a trian at 5.45am so that was quite handy. The down side of being next to the station is that the neighbourhood might be slightly dodogy. It's full of street vendors and restaurants providing medium-to-low quality food (as compared to Rome standards). Speaking of food, the breakfast provided at the hotel bad and the coffee, terrible. The staff was smily but not really professional and they barely speak English. The room is ok but comes with one of the tiniest bathroom I've ever seen. The cleanliness was approximate ... I mean I could see they're trying to make an effort, but it still neverthelss still not spotless.

There were three and four bed rooms (family rooms). The size of the room was good. The property was good, the towels were changed every day and there were shower-shampoo in the bathroom. It was very noisy, we didn't sleep correctly all the week. The noise is linked to the fact that most of the rooms were occupied by groups. The staff 't should have intevened to make it stop. It looks like more a ymca. It was also noisy because there was only a key by room so the different occupants of the rooms had to knock at their door to enter. An other reason for the noise is that there was no carpet on the floor. The breakfast was abondant but not sophisticated. The shutters in the room and in a part of the breakfast room can't be open so it was dark.

Absolutely nothing good to say - run as far from it as you can! (See comments below) This is an awful, grotty, dirty, depressing hotel. The absolutely worst I have ever booked with booking.com and is not up to your standards. It's one of those old pensioni that used to exist in Italy 20 years ago and its vicinity close to the train station makes me believe that, when its rooms are not filled with tourists, they are used for salacious purposes just to fill them. The very nice Sri Lankins who solely manage the place told me that the owner is Italian and I truly feel that he or she is a type of slumlord who just wants to make a financial turnover without investing anything in the hotel. Just the thought of it gives me the willies! €130 per night for bedbugs and a urinary infection! Do your clients a big favour and take it off your website!

The hotel staff was friendly and responsive. The breakfast area is nice and not too crowded. The hotel is not as nice as the pictures would indicate. The hotel is not located on street level and so is very difficult to find since it starts on the second floor of a shared building. You have to buzz the front desk to enter and exit your floor. I asked the front desk how this complied with fire code and he said the doors would unlock automatically in the event of a fire. I am not sure I would want to rely on that. The room next to us had several guys in their 20's partying until 2am. I would suggest spending a little more and finding a higher rated accomodation.

Location is great !The hotel it's central, you can find everything around . Termini and Bus Terminus is about 3 minutes walking from the hotel . There's a supermarket you just cross the road . There are shops and restaurants near the hotel. And also there's a cheep hairdresser comparing with the other hairdressers in Rome I had my hair done for only 17 Euros . Which is a good price while the others can do a blue dry for 40Euros. Room was clean and good for the price that I paid . I booked a single room and the room is double sole use it was comfortable and It's was good value of money .there is Tv and safe key is free and also Wifi in the rooms and heating was working perfectly . All staff speak English and so helpful. The boss and his wife helped me a lot And showed me all direction to the city and to find my way to the airport . otherwise I would have been lost because Italians sometimes they tell you the wrong information . I was so happy there I felt like Iam home . And I really enjoyed my stay . And I will come back again . I would recommend this hotel to everyone goes to Rome. I would like to say thank you to Auntonio and his wife and to all the staff.

The location of the hotel is very close to Termini statiton and you can walk Colosseo in 10 minutes. The hotel staff are very friendly and willing to help you. The rooms are quite big and clean. It is a very good hotel for people with budget constraint. there is not any english tv broadcast, all in italian.

Location is perfect. Would reccomed getting a triple room if you stay here with kids. The double room is too small and it's only a couple euro more. Hotel staff was extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast was unorganized and not very well prepared. Ants were all over the room the following morning reccomed don't leave any food or drinks out. Safe in room didn't work.

It is very close to the main station Termini and also to the Santa Maria Maggiore. If you choose to go on foot to the Colosseo it is on 10-15 minutes ago from the hotel. The room had not enough ligt inside it.

Nice place to stay for a acouple of days. Not the cleanest place I have ever been, but not dirty. The hotel is located only 2 minutes from stazione termini, where you can use all public transportation to everywhere.Breakfast just fine, no problem. Also the staff was perfect and helpful, great treatment (Zouan+Antonio)! The only negtive is the terrible noise, but if you close the window you cannot hear anything.

The lift is be small but better than nothing because the rooms is located at 4th floor. The wifi work properly, breakfast is ok. Positive location and staffs are friendly. The toilet was big enough but the shower area was too small, hardly crouched down to get shampoo. No air-condition.
