It was clean, friendly and brilliant location
Beds very hard and uncomfortable. Pillows were like rocks, very hard and made it very difficult to sleep well.
the location for us was just perfect
I did not at all like the fact that the AC was shut off every night at 1 am despite the fact it was hot during our stay. (The one morning they forgot to turn it back on - nothing like waking up all sweaty. We also only received one towel per person which we found odd.
Stairs up to lobby. However, the positives out weigh this negative.
The location was good, it was just five minutes walking from the city center and all the sightseeing attractions, as it was marked on the map.
The walls of the room where full of humidity problems. The wifi connection was so poor it is was impossible to connect on the room. The room was full of dust at the arrival time (14h - 15h). There were nobody at the reception at the departure time. They were too insistent in paying the bill before doing the check-out (normally the bill is paid at the time of doing the check-out). It was not possible to lock the room from the outside with the key. We order a double bed, and they put two single beds cover with a unique piece of bed cloth. The small towels on the bathroom were no towel, but single pieces of cloth. The amount of towels was lower than the people who booked the room. The staff speaks a poor English. The price of the hotel in relationship with the quality of the facilities was too high.
Excellent location and helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Throughout our 4 day stay there was quite a strong smell of drains in the bathroom. Our room looked out on to an internal courtyard (as most do) and there was a lot of intermittent noise from air conditioning units, enough to disturb our sleep. The weather was quite mild during our stay, so this could be worse in hot weather.
Only the location, which is not really important when you are in Florence, even walking through the central station takes 20 min max from the downtown.
The hotel was overrated and overpriced. We stayed in a smelly, dirty and cold room with plenty of mosquitos inside and we were unable to sleep whole night. When we talked with the hotel owner regarding our complaints, she replied that the weather is not cold enough so they are not putting the heater on and it's better for us to use a second blanket if we are cold! We tried to negotiate in order to change our hotel but they insisted that we should pay 160 Euros as penalty fee even though we stayed one night there. The breakfast was horrible. As a constant traveller who stayed in hotels in different cities in the similar price range in Europe, I can honestly say that Hotel Fiorino was my worst experience. I still cannot believe that we paid 160 Euros for one night in that hotel...
The room was large enough to move around and we had a balcony which we really enjoyed sitting having a wine and cheese, great breakfast + it was the best location ever- centre to everything we want to see and do. 5 min walk across the river + 10 min up the hill took us to the best view over over Florence, the wine bar on the corner and restaurants had the best food and wine even the locals ate there. cant wait to go back!
Very nice hotel in great location 100 meters from Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi Gallery The room was very comfortable and clean, the staff very pleasant and helpful The breakfast is very simple but good Short advice: if you are coming with a car the hotel is located inside the ZTL area and don’t have a parking. there are several option ,use the garage service provided by the hotel which cost about 30 euro for one day or to park in the permitted area (blue lines) 10 minutes walk and cost 2 euro for hour from 8AM to 8PM , free on Sunday
WiFi didn’t work in our room
All we have had, was enough for relax and enjoy nice city!!!! I am very recommend this hotel!!! Good quality for money.
Great location for city
Just behind the Uffizi Gallery...a few steps to Ponte Vechio...
Breakfast very simple, no eggs whatsoever.. No Elevator and the a/c in the room was not strong enough and to our surprise it was controlled by the front desk (one day it was on and it was just working like a fan, we called the front desk and we were told they would look into it, without sending a person to see it, and 'out of a sunden like a act of magic it was working again!! Most likely they had a switch at the front desk - very unusual. Also our vertical shower was super tight.
Location was great. Room size was spacious.
They advertised wifi available in all areas but did not work in our room at all. It was a prereq for our choosing this hotel and was it was a very big hassle to go down to the lobby after a long day of sight seeing for internet access. The breakfast was 'ok', but the late start time (0800) didn't accommodate our tour schedules at all. An 0600 start would be much better for holiday travelers. Day desk staff seemed a bit 'stuffy'. Nite deck guy was awesome. They also advertised they take American Express, but they do not (they gave some B.S. excuse the card didn't work, but we used it for shopping and tours just fine). I'm glad we had a second card. There is also no elevator.
100 yards from rear entrance of Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi Gallery could scarcely be better for location, although central Florence is very compact anyway. Very pleasant and helpful staff. In quiet side street but surrounded by nearby restaurants, shops, etc. Excellent choice for convenient, comfortable, unfussy hotel.
Single room was fine but rather dark and cell-like (though not particularly small) and lacked surface space - only a small, if stylish, writing desk. Window opened onto small courtyard full of air conditioning units, though these were turned off at night. Outdoor breakfast area populated by smokers, though one could also sit inside.
Excellent position and very comfortable room.
Breakfast limited and a bit disappointing.
despite there was AC in the room, however it was only turned on by request(electricity switch controlled by reception), hence it automatically switched off at middle night...... The choice of Breakfast was very limited.
Location couldn't be better. Good value for money
During our stay Wifi was only working in reception.
The location was perfect and the staff were really friendly and very helpful we really enjoyed our stay there
Location, was great just around the corner from Piazza del Signori, clean & spacious rooms, ours had an interior courtyard view
No lifts, breakfast was A bit sparse, but OK, TV was tiny, compared to other places we stayed at. Larger persons would struggle in the shower
Location, location, location. Very easy walking distance to main sightseeing attractions.
Beds were not comfortable, and the breakfast was mediocre.
Value for money,
The three sisters were great. Their recommendations for dining were outstanding and they are very kind. The night clerk was also very helpful.
It was all good there.
Good location area . Front desk staff - friendly and very helpful . Cappuccinos at breakfast made by Nadia lovely.
Grim small dark street smelling of urine. Room 10 very dark . Echoing corridors with noisy banging doors. Not good for sleep after 8am. No fresh fruit at the limited breakfast.
Location and staff
Everything was exellent
