Great location for train station, and yet situated on quiet street. Equally well located for historic centre (walk). "Basic economy" single room, yet still had fridge/tv/safe/aircon/en suite - what more could you need?

Staffs are all very professional! The location is close to train station and famous attractions.

the view from the window on the 3 floor over the inner garden, roofs of Florence and the Dome. it was perfect. breakfast very nourishing both hot and cold dishes served at the upper terrace with a view. staff welcoming and helping, advised us a good restaurant Ciro and Sons. very close to the train station, Duomo and leather market, walking distance to main sights.

our room was next to the kleaner.s room, it was very noisy early in the morning.

Hotel location is very good even though it is near the railway station. Not far from the main square (Duomo). Breakfast good enough, but don't expect miracles... Bathroom was fine.

Actually, this is not a hotel, but a set of different so called "hotel's" (more like B&B) in an old building (each floor is a different "hotel"). It would definatelly need some investment in room restoration. Parking is a disaster in Florence. This "hotel" said in their offer: "Private parking available near the object - reservation not needed. Price 28 eur per day". Well this was true, but what they don't tell you that this is a garage where you would never put your car since it is literally enormous number of cars in a very tiny space. YOu don't wanna see what they've done with your car. At the end the price was 20 eur instead of 28 eur, but still it seemed too much, especially taking into consideration that we didn't use the car until we left.

Conveniently located near the train station and within walking distance to the main tourist sites in Florence. Reasonable breakfast served in a terrace overlooking the city.

Really polite staff, I asked them to store my luggage, when I arrived it was waiting for me in my room. Extremelly near from train station and from downtown They have 24 hours reception There is free cofee, tea, toasts and swet breads the hole day, I don't even know why they don't mension this on the website!

the internet is pay (but this was adverted on advance) well my room was exactly under the place of breakfast, so I was woke with the noise of they preparing the food (around 7:30). The good part, I enjoyed more hours that day!

Great stay! Very friendly and helpful staff. Coffee station with snacks was a really nice touch and helpful to be able to have a hot drink at the end of a long day was good. The thank you!

The hotel was a great price! It was perfect for an overnight between Venice and Rome as an easy walk just around the corner from the main train station and within very easy walking distance of all main city sites and restaurants. The room was great- comfy bed, tv and great shower. A tea room with free tea, coffee and tasty snacks 24/7 was a lovely surprise and pick-me-up! Continental Breakfast was also very good with eggs & sausages. Staff were very helpful. Handy hints: - Wifi is 10 euro for 24 hours. - Hotel is in a building with a few other hotels so look for street number rather than a large sign outside.

The hotel is near the train station S.M.N. Friendly staff and clean warm rooms. We stayed in a quadruple room with balcony overlooking the Duomo. Fantastic! The breakfast was oustanding eggs,sausage, cheese, ham croissants jam choice of cereals etc. The best we had in Italy..We will be back..

Excellent personal welcome from Maurizio late at night, who helped us with our luggage to our room. Breakfast was fantastic. Comfortable, large room and bathroom with a balcony.

Noisey people coming a going to the tea room opposite our room, slamming doors and talking loudly, who were congregating well into the early hours of Sunday morning. I had to open my door and ask them to please be quiet.

Location, friendly service, hotel with a character

Loved the beautifully done conversion of a grand upper-tier apartment building to comfortable hotel rooms. The price was amazingly reasonable for the location, and the quality of accommodations. The staff were tops, and the breakfast was wonderful.

3/4 minutes walk from the entrance to the rail station, where the coach from Pisa airport stops.The Hotel is situated in a block which is shared by other Hotels. Although from the outside the impression is not great but when you reach the 3rd floor (by lift) where the Hotel Fiorita is situated you are in a new world. From the moment you are greeted by the receptionist right away through your stay. Everything works, the breakfast (all in the price) was far better than I anticipated with hot as well as the usual continental, the bedroom (205) was big and well appointed, the hotel is very quiet with no outside/internal noise and the reception staff (all mature people) were always cheerful with a ready smile. An unusal feature was a room where there was hot/cold drinks as well as continental eats available 24hrs a day. All the main features in Florence were within easy walking distance.

It was very good value for money and we had a room at the back that was very quiet. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Internet was 100% reliable.

The bad was bed

I enjoyed the wide breakfast selection on the rooftop room, the break room -- stocked with coffee, tea, a microwave --and the use of shower facilities even after you check out. The best part of the hotel is the courteous, helpful staff, including Massimo and the extremely hardworking cleaning lady who mopped the floors twice a day.

The hotel has vintage charm, but it needs some updates or repair on some furniture pieces. I stayed in Room 6 and Room and both rooms had furniture knobs which easily fell off upon the slightest bit of touch.

Book a room with Fiorita now!!! Why: 1.Great location (3 min from sm Novella train station, safe street, supermarket on the corner, everything in a walking distance). 2. Wonderful staff (great English at reception, helpful, friendly receptionists).3. Very convenient rooms, clean towels every day. 4. awesome breakfast: egg, ham, cereals, sweet pastry, juices, tea, coffe...etc more than enough to survive the sighseeing tours. Great value for the price, would go back anytime!

Great location and comfortable bed

Location and cleanliness only. Breakfast is not great but enough. People in front desk are kind and helpful for your needs.

First of all, as it is clearly written on the plate at the entrance of the building, this is not a hotel but a pension. This fact is bringing the inadequacy in facility itself and to the room amenities. I do not agree with people saying "you are in Florence so all you need is a place to sleep only". After a long day tour in the city and before dinner, people like us also would like to take a little rest in their room. If you are also in this category, then you should avoid to stay in Fiorita, because all you can do in the room is having a shower in your tiny bathroom and sit on your bed which is not a good position to rest. The other thing is that, I think they found a little tricky way to keep their room prices lower by charging for internet additionally. The room is small, furnished in minimalist style and doesn't make you feel spaciousness when you go into the room. Double bed is not a double, but pulled together two singles which you can easily feel the junction while you are in bed. All in all, if you are looking for a cheap, clean and near to the center place without comfort, then this place might suit your needs, otherwise look for another place.

The friendly staff, the wonderful breakfasts, the little coffee spot and the luxurious size of the room. Also, the location to the train station couldn't have been better.

The location is quite good, it takes around 5 mins walking to get to Santa María dei Fiori. People at the reception were very kind and helpful. Room was very nice and well-equipped, with mini bar and security box. Breakfast was very good, with a wide offer of food. Moreover, you have access 24/7 to a small bar with sweets, coffee, tea, etc... We would definitely come back.

Our window faced the street and it was a bit noisy, but the worst were some Chinese that woke up around 6.30 yelling and calling each other in the corridors. Nobody in the hotel asked them to remain in silence, so I had to do it myself. On the other side of the building there are better rooms, which are more isolated and don't face the street. Apart from that, it is a pity that there is no free internet either in the room or public areas.
