Very helpful and polite staff, Location in city centre, just next to the SNM train station
It can be difficult to find the hotel, travellers shout check its location in google maps or similar prior going if local guide is not meeting them.
great location， nice reception， Free drinks and snacks 24h, Great breakfast and nice view. Room is clean and comfortable.
The hotel is located about 3-5mins from the firenzi termini. The hotel receptionists are very accommodating and helpful. Our room was upgraded to a superior room with a room rate of €200/night but we only paid € 90 for it. The room was spacious and clean.
The lift of the building was spoilt when we checked in that we had to use the stairs going up with our luggages. Fortunately, the lift was quickly repaired on the same day.
The localization was just 5 minutes from the train station and quite near of all main city atractions... The staff was nice, the bedroom was also good. The building is quite old, so sometimes is a little noisy, but I would recomend it!
At night is was a little noisy...
clean room spacious bathroom old-fashion lift vintage -feel easy to find. just right across the station
it is on third floor when the lift broke, you need to climb up the stairs. but the staffs is very helpful and friendly. helped us carried our luggage up.
Excellent staff, beautiful room, great breakfast. Absolutely nothing to complain about! We loved this location and the staff couldn't have been more helpful! If I visit Florence again, it will be at this hotel!
We had NO complaints with this hotel.
(what my parents liked): very helpful and nice staff, great location, coziness
Location, staff, rooms and service were excellent. The value for price is excellent plus a littlte old world charm.
the pillows are not good, very hard
The hotel is very near the train station and a lot of tourist attractions. Its a perfect location to be. The hotel has a pantry where you can just get "free" coffee or orange juice anytime of the day ... I mean anytime :). There are free fruits too. The staff are very friendly and can guide you to where you want to go. The hotel is sharing the building with 3 other hotels. It is only here in Florence where I have seen that 1st floor is this hotel, 2nd floor is this other hotel, 3rd floor is another hotel etc :D ... it is a new experience.
Since the hotel is located on a very old building (probably 100 years old according to staff), the elevator is also very old. Its like a cage with doors in front and outside of it. You have to close all the doors before anyone on other floors can use it. If anyone didnt close, you have no choice but to climb up the stairs. Fiorita is at the highest floor.
Massimo is very accommodating.
The bed bugs which bite my daughter.
Location was ideal close to the train station, and easy walking distance to and from the centre. The room was nice and the staff were friendly. The facility of a complimentary coffee and snacks room available all day was very much appreciated and a nice touch, especially on arrival day after travelling. Breakfast room was pleasant and the breakfast very satisfactory.
I didn't sleep very well, pillows were very hard, and there was also a lot of noise from other rooms, the corridor and other floors as well as from outside. The shower worked well for about 1 minute, then it faded to a weak trickle of either scaldingly hot or freezing cold water, and nothing in between.
Great staff who are very accommodating. Thank you for allowing me my choice of room with a view! Excellent location, delicious breakfast and I appreciate the 24-hour coffee, tea, fruit and pastries that are offered. Convenient to shopping, restaurants, the leather market, etc. I travel to Florence several time a year for business, and will always stay at Hotel Fiorita. Grazie mille!
I have no complaints.
Everything was perfect
Helpful staff, great location
Location and traditional nature of the pensione. Loved the lift
Excellent staff, breakfast included and cleanliness. No trouble storing bags if needed and 24 hour access to coffee, tea, cold drinks, cake as well as fruit was an added bonus that was appreciated.
A very friendly and efficient staff, fairly high level of cleanliness, easy access to train station and monuments. Roberto at the reception was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful.
third floor, no elevator access to the terrace for dining,
Accessibility and friendly helpful reception staff. Large high ceiling room. Very central and easy walking access to Il Duomo, Pontevechio etc.
Very ordinary breakfast. Stayed there 4 days never saw a smile from the breakfast staff, much less a buongiorno!
Location near the train station. Like the vintage lift, hahaha
The room design really old, vintage, xp
This was a very different hotel experience. Not bad, just different. The hotel was very close to the train station which was a plus. The hotel itself is one of 4 or 5 different hotels in just one building. The entry way has a lot of stairs to climb up to the main floor where there is a lift that was broken the whole time we were there. Our hotel was on the 4th floor (which in Italy means it's on the 5th floor as they don't count the main floor!) so we had quite a hike up to the hotel with all of our luggage. The hotel was very quaint with the charm of an old building in the heart of Florence. High ceilings and old wooden doors. But in the end that just lent itself to loud and echoing halls. There seemed to be little to no insulation between the walls so the rooms were not quiet. I travel with earplugs and sound machine so it didn't keep me awake but if I didn't have those things, I would have been awake all night. The bed was 2 twins put together and they were extremely firm and I could feel every spring. So, I can't say the bed was even close to comfortable, though my hubby thought it was fine. We had AC in the room, though ours had a very annoying creaking sound that kept my hubby waking up all night thinking someone was trying to get in our room. The bathrooms were very clean and had a great shower and decent lighting. Breakfast is in a small enclosed room on the roof. We had to ask if we could open the blinds as they were all closed and the breakfast attendant wasn't all that friendly or helpful. But the food was good. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel prior to check-in and after we checked out, but they were basically just left in the back hallway with all the other guests bags, they weren't locked up or anything. We didn't have problems with anything being taken, but its just worth nothing if you're worried about those things. Our stay was pleasant but not on the top of my list as a favorite hotel.
Not well insulated for noise Broken lift
The staff were excellent. Maurizio in particular helped us with restaurant suggestions and with transportation issues as well. The hotel is small but very close to the train station which was handy in the early morning! Breakfast was great too....a lovely way to start the day.
The old elevator...my husband loved its quirkiness though!
A very short walk from the train station but situated so that you don't pass the station going to and from the hotel. Room was spacious and spotless. Lovely buffet breakfast. Florence is so small that it doesn't pay to wheel your suitcase to a hotel near the Ponte Vecchio or Duomo.
I liked the facilities in the hotel, the room was huge and plesent, old styled but that what make it so spacile. Mouritzio in the front desk was nice and so helpful. Everything was so nice and worthy. Ill be back for sure.
2 minute walk from Termini - walking distance to everything. Tea,coffee and snacks available all day. Very helpful staff.
Handy to the train station, the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good and there were snacks available throughout the day.
