“ It was a hidden gem, close to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The staff was wonderful. Augustus, our driver from the hotel went out of his way to show us the city. The room for 3 of us was more spacious than expected. It was in the middle of the city, and we felt very safe. The breakfast(included) was delicious, and my cappucino had my favorite-a heart-on it :) ”

Perfect location in between Trevi Fountain & the Spanish Steps. Friendly staff. If you want a basic,no frills hotel in a great location, this is the ideal hotel. No lounge / bar area to sit and have a drink.

Efficient, friendly, and extremely helpful staff. Reception was open 24 hours a day. The lift stopped between floors which meant suitcases had to be carried either up or down several steps. The building in which the hotel is housed is desperately in need of repair and redecoration. We never saw the advertised vending machine.

The staff could not have been friendlier, were so helpful everyday with travel plans etc. The room service did not disturb us at all - when we came back to our hotel at the end of the day, the room was pristine. Breakfast was delivered promptly every morning and was always nice. We thought that the breakfast options could have been a little more extensive, offering some fruit at least as a healthy option.

Location Nearly everything - shabby, dirty, peeling wallpaper and paintwork, no curtains in first room (and shutters didn't shut out light) and those in the replacement room were filthy. No hot water for 2 days until insisted they move me to another room. No continuity of staff so it appeared that complaints went into thin air. Breakfast very poor and mean. The lift didn't go to floors, only in between some floors (didn't go anywhere near the 3rd floor). Place chaotic and possibly unsafe (wires hanging out of plugs, some sockets not working). Showers smelly and, again, clearly not been painted in years so paintwork peeling off.

The position was ideal, not quite as close to the Spanish Steps as stated, but well situated for walking around the city. Plenty of restaurants/bars/cafes in the neighbourhood. There is free wi-fi in reception. The hotel is very 'tired', with paint peeling from the walls in many places, torn wallpaper, old sanitary fittings and furnishings, socket falling off the wall. The net curtains in my room were of a beige/yellow shade; they may once have been white. The staff on reception were constantly changing, different people practically every time we went there. I was travelling with three other friends; they all had to change rooms because of extremely poor facilities (no hot water, no curtains). My room was just about habitable, although if hotels offer very small single rooms I feel that they should make a reduction on the room price; I paid the same price as friends sharing a twin room. The breakfast was poor: rolls and croissants only, and these were not very fresh.

Nothing!!! Dirty, old, nothing functional, not even the head of the cheaply renovated shower.. the hotel is a disaster. we changed the room, same same. so we ended up leaving the hotel, we left the stuff at the hotel and checked in at another hotel (double payment for the same night) to be able to take a decent shower and sleep comfortably (that is all we needed in an hotel). Stay away!! this hotel costs us 230euro!! 90 is the original reserved price and 140 is what we had to pay at another hotel as a "walk in" quests. Stay away!!

Good location Place was scary. Carpet was worn out, walls need in serious repair. Stuff (including old mattresses) were thrown in unused staircases. No safe in the room. Likely the scariest hotel I ever stayed in.

Friendly & helpful staff Close to train station With in walking distance of Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, pantheon, piazza Navona. Mould on walls. Wall paper coming off. Continental breakfast was a croissant & a coffee only. Towels were literally table clothes. No toilet paper left, had to ask everyday for new roll rather than being serviced during cleaning. Close to no reception on tv, every few seconds states no signal.

Hotel Firenze known as a Hotel Doge was in a fantastic location. There was a friendly atmosfere. The people at reception desk were very helpful & polite. The room was reasonable size and always clean. The price included a light breakfast. We were very happy and have recommended it to our friends.

Location in city center. Quiet room to the backyard. Allright Italian breakfast. Friendly staff (most of them...) We got a rather small and dark room and had to ask for a better room - which we got for the same price. Staff was rather indefferent and almost during the first to days - but that chenged after a while. May this is Roman style to meet non-Romans....?

The staff were nice and helpful, and it's in a great location relative to the sites of Rome. It was very loud, being on a street that buses run down. This was even on the fourth floor with the windows closed. WiFi was only available in the reception, not in the rooms, which was a shame.

Hotel room was large enough and comfortable enough. Bathroom was nice, spacious. In the room we found everything that we needed. Hotel staff was helpfull. The lift was a bit small so we rather used stairs. Breakfast might be a bit bigger (more cups of coffee, pieces of bread, toast and so on) but since it was included in the price we weren´t to surprised.

The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was more than adequate. We were late for breakfast because I had set my phone alarm to go off and it was running an hour behind their time and yet the staff accommodated us. It was very well placed for sightseeing and the staff were helpful and friendly. The entrance and stairwells were shabby but I think they thought it added character to the place.
