My stay at Firenze suite was very memorable for all the right reasons. Upon arrival to this beautifully decorated, former monastery I was greeted by Blerina, the manager. Blerina was very welcoming and could not do enough. She showed me to my suite, Violante, which was beautifully decorated with a vaulted ceiling, nice furniture, big windows, double doors leading to a beautiful shared courtyard. The suite even had a kitchenette hidden behind the confines of a wardrobe ! Blerina, gave me a large detailed map of Florence & pointed out all the attractions. She was very knowledgable and informative. Nothing was too much for her and her husband during my stay. Blerina booked various tours, attractions, restaurants( of which her personal recommendations were amazing namely 'Aqua cotta' and 'Caffe Italiano' ) I was even advised upon my request, of great shopping outlets. Breakfast at Firenze Suite is served in your room and was excellent, contained variety, quality produce and was plentiful. I had an amazing stay in Florence at Firenze Suite which was a Beautiful, family run business which truly complemented the great time I had. Florence is beautiful and I shall be returning, soon I hope ! For me, the only place I will be staying in is Firenze Suite. Well done Blerina and family.
Personal service by Blina (manager)was fantastic, great location, breakfast was great .
Room. Manager. Breakfast. Wi-Fi.
The room was gorgeous, large, and comfortable, the bathroom modern, the breakfast ample and delicious. The young couple who managed the property were charming. With only seven rooms in the hotel, there were certain hours they were available only by prior arrangement -- but they were readily available all morning, late afternoon, and whenever needed. They were also very helpful about letting us drop off luggage early and pick it up to leave late.
Be aware that this is a limited traffic area. The colleague who was planning to take me to the hotel instead had me take a cab from the periphery.
Beautiful rooms and caring staff. Very good Breakfast too.
Excellent location. Spacious and attractive room. This small hotel is family owned and operated. Husband and wife were very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed their insights on places to visit.
It felt like we were guests in a real Italian Villa. Does not get any better then Firenze Suites. Perfect location, close enough to all the attractions yet just outside the noisy touristy area. We loved our Suite and it reminded us what Florence is all about, History, Beauty and Romance.
The young couple running the hotel were very charming and helpful. The breakfast was varied and large.
Our room was a bit noisy, near the street door.
The bed and pillows uncomfortable.
This location is perfect to walk to most all the sights. The staff was so friendly and breakfast was excellent each morning. I loved that it was delivered right to the room. We definitely recommend Firenzesuites!
The hairdryer provided was not very powerful.
We loved this place! It was everything and more than you see on the website. The rooms were gorgeous; the wonderful young couple that hosts the guests were so incredibly helpful and always on top of the game. I would highly recommend this lodging to whoever is interested in being centrally located in Florence, near everything, and being treated like royalty. Loved it! We'll be back one day I hope.
Noise in the mornings from vacuums to voices. The main reception area echoes like a tunnel. Perhaps they need some wall to wall carpeting in the area to prevent reverberations. My only concern.
The room was fantastic...the staff was amazing.
Blerinda was so helpful & patience with anything we needed. They had a valet pick up & drop off the car at the front door! Her & her husband helped get reservations for all the museums (highly recommend) at short notice. It was raining & they provided umbrellas for the day. Very nice stay.
First rate ternatove to tired hotels. Made to feel welcome and given a huge room with ante chamber and excellent bathroom. Breakfast very good and plenty of it brought to your door with a welcoming smile. Highly recommended.
This hotel is really nice. Staff was very helpfull!! They booked our tours (same day we arrived) to the Colisseum, Palatine Ruins, Vatican; called for taxis!! Our room was comfortable and nice for the price. Breakfast was big and delicious. The location is not particularly close to the Vatican, but the tours will pick you up at the hotel. The hotel is relatively close to the Colisseum. The staff will recommend two restaurants Vladimiro and Piccolo really good!!!
The room was an unexpected and very nice surprise. Lovely domed ceiling, very comfortable and breakfast served in our room. Walking distance to all the sights we wanted to visit.
The location was difficult to find. It is in a narrow street and our GPS first took us to another hotel with a similar name.
Location was great. Couple who run it are lovely.
Our room did not open on the garden and was a bit dark because of high windows.
- Size of the room, location, fridge with space, bed, decoration
Beautiful room close to all of the attractions.
A bit hard to find.
The owner was lovely, very helpful and gave great tips on where to eat and what to see. Rooms clean and comfortable and in a great location. Definitely recommend it.
The décor was stunning, both in the room (we had the Azzurri) and in the foyer. Breakfast was good, but it is served in your room, you give the lovely hostess the time you want it and there is a discreet knock on the door. There is a downside to this, in that some mornings you are awake earlier and some later, and so can either be kept waiting, or not have enough time to make yourself decent!! Good location.
Noises in the middle of the night kept us awake. This was almost exclusively from 2-3am every morning except for the weekend. This may be because not all of the building is the hotel (?) and so other users (possibly a bar?) were making the noises at the same time each morning. Also, the mozzies. Mosquitoes that is. No-one tells you Florence is full of them, and we wish we had known so we could take some sort of repellent!!
Large room with wonderful stuff, they are willing to help you anytime anything, so comfortable to live there.
* Extraordinary experience staying in the former monastery. Extremely spacious room, and a kitchenette to make tea, etc. * Wonderful and helpful staff to make our stay a very comfortable one. * I highly recommend this place.
There were no windows in the room we stayed in. The room was rather dark.
very firendly, calm place; nice idea to have breakfast in your room!
