We took the large suite which was so comfortable for all 6 of us- loved the kitchen and bathrooms. Very very noisy at night- our windows were facing the main street and there was too much noise. |

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Fruit and chianti on arrival. Laura helped with booking Uffizi and Academia and with booking a great restaurant. Thanks Laura, we thought you were terrific. Nothing at all. Looking forward to a return trip asap. |

We were hoping for a comfortable stay close to the centre of Florence, but what we got was so much more! Location was great - only 2 minutes stroll to the Duomo, Laura on reception was incredibly helpful, and the apartment was excellent. Plenty of space, really good facilities, clean and stylish decor. We had just come from a hotel in Rome where we had paid twice the price for something that wasn't half as good! The arrangement with the cafe directly across the road for breakfast worked extremely well, really vibrant atmosphere, good food and great coffee. First of Florence is one of those places you hope will always stay the same, so that you can keep on returning to enjoy the same quality experience. |

Hotel is in excellent location to explore Florence and has very friendly staff. We were made very welcome and had a bottle of wine, fruits and snacks waiting for us. Also very much enjoyed jaccuzi bath. Overall, it is a fantastic place to stay. |

The fruit basket and bottle of wine greeting. The location. The spacious room. The view of the Duomo when we walked out of the door. |

We stayed in the largest suite for our honeymoon, and it was fantastic. We felt like we were living in Florence for 10 days. |

The reception was excellent on arriving and during the stay. The general standard of the room was excellent added with the extras in the hotel room when we arrived, bottle of wine, fruit, and some food for breakfast/lunch in the fridge even though we also had breakfast included in the price. The room and bath room was was very comfortable and clean. Very good location to everything we wanted to see |

I enjoyed the First of Florence mainly because of its location and its proximity to all the sites in Florence. The rooms were clean and the decor was first class. The bottle of wine, fresh fruit and food in the fridge were an added touch never before experienced. This is a unique hotel, one of which I would highly recommend. |

Room was very nice and the staff was great. The noise from the street at the night was awful. We didn't sleep for the whole night. TV had just italian chanels. |

The location is fabulous and it is a quiet heritage building. The apartment was excellent, with kitchen and laundry facilities. Laura the manager, is so helpful and the fresh fruit and drinks on arrival is a lovely touch. There was nothing about the hotel itself, just be careful if you are driving there. Our gps got confused and we ended up circling the Duomo, which is at the end of the street. Once you get there however, Laura will get the car taken to a park for you and she arranges the permits for being in the restricted zone. |

Beautiful apartment with all the amenities, even a washing machine! Breakfast was fabulous and the welcome package of food was a life saver, the bottle of wine and fruit a bonus! The location is excellent, right in the heart of Florence, with the Duomo just a minute or so walk away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. At times, it was a bit noisy outside, but expected with the location in the city. |

The accommodations were very tasteful and exceeded our expectations. We were right within walking distance of the Duomo and in a very nice location. The breakfast at the bar next door was very good too. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more accomodating. |

It was like a home away from home. It was very secure, had wonderful facilities (except wi-fi) and allowed us a chance to prepare a few meals for ourselves. It has a PC for use of clients, but wi-fi would definitely improve the facilities. |

The hotel is truly beautiful, the location is very handy, value for money I didn't like the fact that breakfast was at a cafe over the street, the food there being of questionable quality, the amount offered for breakfast was also minimal - quite a disappointment really. |

This hotel was incredible. The facilities such as lighting, a nice TV, jacuzzi, a cloth washer, kitchen wares were perfect. The costs including breakfast was a quite reasonable. Also the location was convenient to visit main sightseeing and shopping points in the city. |

The beautiful suite was ideal for our family of four, with 2 separate sleeping areas, kitchenette & laundry facilities. The kitchenette was even stocked with pasta, cold cuts, fruit, & wine, which we greatly appreciated. It was within walking distance from the train station & all of the major attractions we wanted to see in Florence. We would definitely recommend the First of Florence! |

The Minerva offers a rooftop terrace and pool with beautiful views over Florence's historic centre. Internet is free. The Duomo and main railway station are a 5-minute walk away. |
The address says it all! Overlooking the beautiful church of Santa Maria Novella, Rosso23 is a modern hotel in an ancient building, set right in the heart of Florence. |
B&H Hotels Diplomat offers a prime location close to Santa Maria Novella Railway Station, within walking distance of Florence centre. |
Not only is this hotel excellently located right by the Ponte Vecchio, but it also has a panoramic roof terrace for a relaxing meal or drink whilst admiring the beautiful Florence skyline. |
