Value. Friendliness of staff
Small shower, not enough room to hang towels in the washroom.
Nice staff. The place is new and very well kept and clean. Nice and comfortable rooms. It is in a very convenient location close to the airport. The shuttle service is very good
The cell phone reception in very bad. The wi-fi signal is not very strong and drops from time to time. I guess it might have Been the location of the room I was.
I stayed in the place to wait for my next morning flight. It was very clean and super quiet. The staff was polite and they let me print my boarding pass for free. There is a private bath with soap and towels and everything is very clean.
The taxi drivers charge at least 20 euros to go to this place, which is only 4Km away. Some ask 30 and generally they are disgustingly ridiculous (I ended up walking). Also the place offers transportation to the airport with a private vehicle for 10 euros, but they seem to fit only one customer at a time. I wish they offerred cheaper transfer (say 5 euros) and maybe allow multiple customers per trip (to lower their own costs). I am not sure about the others, but I was looking for a budget place to spend the night in, but if I arrive after the bus service stops I need to pay and extra 50% just the transport alone, which is not good for budget!
Bag breakfast was waiting for us when we left at 4am and they had a car take us to the airport for 15 euros.
We were on the ground floor and could hear everything going on. The airport doesn't open until 5am except at one door and they dropped us off at the farthest door.
Brand new apartment
Cab was too expensive
The room was clean and comfortable and we could have good breakfast. There is a translation service from the B&B to Fiumicino airport and it was cheaper than taking a taxi.
The B&B is a bit far from the airport and we had to take a bus. It was easy to go to the airport but we couldn't find the bus stop to get off to go back and we had to walk for an hour.
Close proximity to the airport. Nice, comfortable and clean room. Helpful staff.
Transfer to the airport before 7am cost us 15 euro which was higher than we expected. After 7am it is 10 euro.
location close to airport, cleanliness of room, nice staff, made us a breakfast to go for an early flight.
Not sure of neighborhood; hotel nice but gated off.
We made a reservation for the car park but when we arrived it was not possible.
Location Friendly staff English spoken
FIreplace in the room so the room stunk! Street parking
Staff were great Room was lovely and warm (freezing outside) Good wifi connection So so close to the airport Airport shuttle very cheap and friendly driver
Really the only thing I could fault was we were in the first room (101) and we could hear every time people came to the door and chatting in reception. This did not happen after about 9pm though so no big deal
The staff is very polite, responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this place for a one-night stay for a business trip.
Nothing to mention here.
We chose this location because we were staying only one night and wanted something close to the airport for our early flight the next day. We knew that all the good attractions were quite far and we didn't have a problem with this. The staff were very professional and helpful. The bed linen was dirty but they changed it right away once we told them. Breakfast was great.
The rooms were not soundproofed and everything can be heard during day and night. I do not recommend this place if you are a light sleeper. You can even hear the other guests walking outside.
We were welcomed with an Espresso coffee and croissant. We had an early flight the next morning and we were given a packed breakfast. It was close to the airport.
The room was clean and quite cosy.
The bed was lop-sided on both sides. Mattress seemed to be over-used. Didn't get a good sleep. Is time for them to change their mattress.
A friend and I stayed here for one night because our flight from Rome was leaving the next morning at 10. Since we arrived quite late and had to get up early the next morning, we didn't spend much time at the actual hotel. However, I can speak positively of it. It's indeed very close to the airport, a 5 to 10 minute drive - and the hotel called us a shuttle at the requested time without extra charge. Since we were leaving too early in the morning to have breakfast, they kindly packed a few snacks and a drink "for the road" for us. It only cost 82 euros for the night, too - and for a triple (!) room, which we didn't need as we were only two people. (This price includes the breakfast we didn't have time to have.) The room itself was nice, stylishly decorated (the hotel was clearly renovated recently and the "modern" style is eye-catching), clean and fairly spacious. Shower is large, as is the flat-screen TV. Overall, if we had gotten to stay at the Fiumicino Airport B&B Deluxe longer, it seems we would've quite enjoyed the experience.
Nothing, really. Then again, our stay was very short - we pretty much came there, showered, slept and then left the next morning.
Close to resturant. Lounging area to sit outside and inside. Our flight was to early for us to get breakfast so they packed us a bag of goodies to take with us, including juice.
We wanted a room with 3 beds and we got a room with a queen and roll away bed. It wasn't comfortable for my friend that slept on roll away. We were there for just one night so it wasn't a big problem.
Efficiency of staff, information provided by them on restaurants and transportation to the airport, quick, simple breakfast, everything in the room worked well (except the TV, but we were having storms that night). Location is excellent if you've got a morning flight. The town of Fiumicino is far nicer than we expected, with excellent restaurants.
The wardrobe needed a scrub-out, smelt a bit off. And as with the last time we stayed here, the water has a suphur smell, which is a bit off-putting. But they do put a free bottle of drinking water in the fridge for you.
Everything except the cigarette smell.
Smelled like cigarette smoke
comfy bed, very helpful receptionist. just stayed overnight so not much to form an opoiniion
the surrounding area does not have decent restaurants no English channels on TV
Very tasteful in design Good breakfast Welcoming and friendly hosts
Lacks fresh air because the window located within the building
Had a very short stay, 1 night, ready for a flight home to Australia at 6:30am. Staff were wonderful from the very day I booked the accommodation, with a personal email confirming my reservation. When I inquired about my very early departure, I was assured a transfer could be arranged easily on arrival, and a breakfast pack also be available. Breakfast pack was provided for me on arrival, small, portable and perfect. Staff lovely and friendly, and room was perfect for a pre-flight night.
Although staff arranged transfer with no dramas at all, and the transfer was prompt and helpful, I booked for 3am, and wasn't advised that the airport did not actually physically open, til 4am. Being so close to the airport, I had to wait outside the terminal for over 50 minutes. Not exactly the accommodations responsibility to tell me, but just fair warning to anyone else. Having said that, being at the head of the line was nice for a change!
Great if you need to stay close to the airport
The area is a bit lifeless..
Warm & accommodating hosts. Quaint, clean, well-appointed room. Convenient location.
Clearly impatient, rude, reckless [outsourced] driver deployed for airport pick-up (€25).
The staff were very nice and helpful. The shuttle to the airport in the morning cost 10 Euros and he helped us find the correct terminal.
It was difficult to locate the local taxis to get from the airport to the hotel. We asked many people and received very little information or wrong information. We finally asked a policemand or security officer who directed us correctly. The local taxi cost less than 7 Eros (10 with the tip). The prevelent Rome taxis would have charged 30 to 40 Eros for an eight klm ride.
