Flight home cancelled so extra night arrange by very helpful staff. Great place to stay everything on your door step.
Main benefit of this hotel is the location . Walking distance from termini and close to sights. Only downside was noise from traffic and delivery drivers . Our room was directly above bar
We loved the location - not too far from anything. It was in a safe neighborhood, across from the MoD. The rooms and the restaurant were not in the same location, about a 5 minute walk away. We also appreciated the private shuttle from the airport, as we arrived pretty late at night and didn't want to deal with taxi's.
Due to our baby they recommended us to stay at their 2nd address at Via Firenze. The room was small, enough clean and we could sleep there ;) Anna, thanks! The location of both addresses is perfect, close to many attractions and to the rail station.
The breakfast was included, but covered just a small part of that what we usually needed. The extra options to be paid extra as well. It is not comfortable for us so we went to another place offering a buffet upon a fixed price.
Quiet, clean room; friendly, helpful staff; location
The Irish pub connection was a novelty in an otherwise ordinary establishment.
Our room booking was mislaid and room type was incorrect, which was corrected, but took over an hour to check in. The 'rooms' are spread over several buildings, but breakfast is just in the pub area and is just a croissant snack.
no internet connection, smell from outside the window, the window was small and dirty and the room really dark cause no light could reach the room, the breakfast was bad and we couldnt find the reception most of the time
Good location. Many restaurants near by. Close to the rail/bus station which makes it easy to get to and from the airports. The metro is also at the rail station but the metro in Rome is not very extensive, although we did use it a couple of times. We were told that on the weekends it may be a little noisy because of the bar, but we did not find this to be the case. We spent four nights there and were not disturbed by the noise at any time. A continental breakfast was included, but for a few extra euros we had our traditional eggs and bacon. Definitely recommend.
This is a bed and breakfast located above an Irish bar and although the staff at the Rooms was very good a few of the staff at the bar/restaurant were lacking in customer service. This may be the norm for Italy because we found that most customer service in Italy is not up to par with what we expect in the U.S.
Location Clean room
Liked the breakfast options Air conditioner worked well and keept the room cool during hot summer days
When taking a shower the hot water would stop running and switch to freezing cold water after 3 minutes
The rooms where clean and equipped, small but it is enough, since you are going to be the whole day visiting the city. Everything worked properly (fridge, tv, security box, air conditioner, lights). The rooms were clean everyday. The girl at the front desk is really nice, she helped us with all our doubts very kindly. She arranged us transport to the airport(we were 8 people), and the price was good. A basic breakfast is included, but if you pay 2 more euros(or 2.50 can´t remember exactly) you get an excellent very complete breakfast.
Everything was really good. What is not very comfortable is that the front desk is in a different building. But really close so, it is not a problem.
Stayed at Flann O'Brien rooms for 4 nights this week. Rooms very nice, bathroom - has all amenities needed with good shower. Room facilities IE Free air con, WI-FI, television, fridge in room you can put drinks in. All staff were very helpful, great service and the food was lovely. Would stay here again, extra big thank you to the man who supports Milan and the chap for Sicily. Walked from the accommodation to the Coliseum, Vatican, Trevi fountain etc. Located a short walk from supermarkets and Termini station. Would highly recommend.
Excellent location good wi-fi safe
Very poor breakfast with the possibility to upgrate it for about 3 euro per person per morning.
Location, friendliness of staff.
Bathroom need to be renewed.
Air cond. working well; breakfast simple but ok; location is good, you can walk to all the attractions
shower was terrible, hard to get some hot water; very old building:smells very bad.
Eveywhere is so close to walk So you dont pay money for transportation except vatican.
Room is so small.
friendly and helpful staff good location value for money
a bit noisy especially at night
I really liked how friendly the staff was, especially the lady at reception she was a great help to us. The location was good and our room was decent and cleaned/towels changed daily. Wifi was also good :) Breakfast was amazing, i loved the sweet croissant which was provided. Overall me and my partner had a wonderful time and i would return. Thank you <3
You's need a clear distictive sign of where you are along nationale! we got lost finding you originally.
There are 2 buildings!!!! The 2nd one isn't good...
The service and location were great away from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street
location was great, stayed at Via Firenze-elevator available, staff was kind and friendly, room a bit small but well decorated and clean
the room had one window that we had to keep always closed: to too much noise from others a/c outside and there where ppl walking by from an external coriador infront of it
We requested a quiet room as we were unsure about the noise level being above an Irish pub. The room we were given was across the road from the pub and was very quiet and private. Great wifi. Free breakfast at the pub was good, and you can pay slightly more for breakfast upgrade if you want something more substantial. Right next to the pub was a laundromat/internet place run by a very helpful man. Printing services available which was handy. Irish pub dinner was good too. Excellent staff both at the pub and for the accommodation. Highly recommend, don't be put off by it being affiliated with a pub.
Our air con unit kept bringing up errors so we couldn't always get it to work, but wasn't a big deal as generally it was cool enough without it. Smallish room but for rome I don't think you can beat this place for value!
