Room was spacious and with a view to a nice little square right by the city historical centre. Bathroom was clean and had a nice modern look. Breakfast was good, above italian average although it could have had more fresh items (eg fresh orange juice etc).
Shower was cold most of the time, not sure why. Wifi was limited depending on where in the room I was.
The room which was comfortable and clean had a small balcony overlooking the square at the entrance to Noto's main street of churches etc.A very good location for the sights as also the main hotel would have been. Car parking was in a quiet street next to the main car park.
We asked for a quiet room with a view. It was a great location overlooking the square, but it was above a bar which was showing a football match on TV, so a lot of cheering! Later, there was the noise of music until 1am - also from the same bar I believe. Breakfast in this hotel was mediocre - but the view from the breakfast terrace was great!
We were given a Room in the main bldg not the annex which is much nicer. IT HAD A BALCONY WITH SPECTACULAR VIEWs OF THE CITY. Parking was a breeze. Comfy bed allowed for a restful night. The location could not have been better.
Location, size of room & bathroom, clean
Our room was in dependane (comprising some rooms a short distance from hotel, which was fine in itself). The problem was that our room was on ground floor level and we had to keep windows closed since they were very low close to pavement and various teenagers would stop for long hours with their motorini chatting away - so we had to keep windows shut and curtains drawn all the time - never saw daylight from room!
1. Great Location (both in the city and for visiting other locations in Val di Noto, Southeast Sicily). In the city, only about 100 meters from Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the main thoroughfare. So, very close to restaurants, shops and attractions. But, that 100 meter walk provides a buffer for quiet time at night. Hotel Flora has two locations - (1) at the Porta Reale Ferdinandea - Noto City Gate; and (2) about 100 meters from Porta Reale Ferdinandea. We were fortunate to have stayed in the second mentioned location. The Gate location may be too close to tourist and local activities. This location is a great central point to Ragusa, Modica, Scicli and Siracusa. We stayed in Noto 5 days - spending one day in each town. 2. Staff - extremely friendly and helpful (THANKS Ornella, you were a integral in making our stay in Noto a great one). No problem for English speaking travelers. 3. Breakfast is offered. 4. Clean and modern. 5. We felt safe in the location walking at night.
1. Our room location and neighboring rooms: Our room was next to the lobby, lower entry stairway and stairway to the breakfast balcony - activity and sometimes noisy area. The noise was more due more to inconsiderate patrons, not necessarily the fault of the Hotel. 2. Small shower. 3. No elevator. Not a problem for us; but may be a problem for other guests. That stated, they do have rooms on entry level floors.
Everything. The staff helped me park the car at nearly midnight and upgraded my room to faciliate the check-in. Exceeds 3 star expectations.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff who were welcoming and willing to do that little bit extra to make our stay a great one.
Location (right by the entrance of the historical site; at Porte Royale); next to great restaurants and bars; Very friendly and available staff; Generous breakfast (good variety) Wi-fi connection; Size of bathroom
Lack of light in the room (located at the annex, 1st floor); Too much water pressure in the shower
Location was handy for seeing old town which is beautiful. Bathroom was spacious and modern. Air conditioning good. Quirky place to stay.
Reception was a long way across the other side of a park which we were not told about prior to arrival. Had my husband not spoken some Italian we would have struggled to find this out. Also breakfast was served in the same place which was a pain. Our room was obviously in an annexe to the main hotel. Room quite dark too.
Excellent location to explore the city, the hotel is in front of bus stop. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Great room, very comfortable and clean. Good breakfast. Highly recommended!
The hotel staff were informative and extremely friendly. The location was excellent and non pay parking outside our room beside the police station.
The staff was very friendly and ready to help. The bed was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel serves nice breakfast with lots of fruits. Definetaly recommend this hotel!
Friendly staff, great location near the ald town, good breakfast
Our rooms were in a separate building, a few minutes walking from the main building where breakfast is served
Very close to old town. Good breakfast. Friendly staff
Staff, location, hotel, proximity to bus
Aircon a bit up and down, sometimes hot, sometime cold.
Staff very nice. Noto is definitely worth the stay. Our favorite place in Sicily. Also Dammuso restaurant just fantastic.
The location is great, being only a 3 or 4 minute stroll to the old city. There was little noise. Easy to drive to and good parking facilities.
It would have been nice to have some good bread for breakfast. Also more choice of fresh fruit which is plentiful and cheap.
Location and relaxed atmosphere
Even though the accommodation was in a 'dependancy' some 150m away from the main hotel proper it did not detract from our enjoyment of our visit. Modern spacious layout proving sufficient for our modest needs.
The were no windows in the room and the lighting was very poor, so it was very dark on first entering from the bright sunlight. Breakfast could have been a bit more adventurous in the choices on offer.
It was only possible for one person in a room to access wifi at any one time
Very, very clean hotel, big and comfort bathroom. All you need you can find there. Nice and helpfull staff, good breakfast, parking place, quiet place. I am really recommed this hotel
Stayed in the hotel itself, not the annex. On the edge of the historic centre, perfectly located to walk to all the sights but still very quiet. Friendliest staff, clean roomy bathroom with great shower, wonderful breakfast in- or outside. No problem parking the car in the adjacent alley. Great value for money.
Very good location and really lovely reception staff.
Not as described on website or booking.com. It was much smaller and less smart. Accepted a booking for a bigger room in the annexe when the annexe was closed. Generally a bit depressing.
Very central location. The hotel itself is just by the bus terminus; the annexe ('dependance') is even more central - about 250 yards across the park, just by the Porta Reale. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was fine.
There was a good choice for breakfast but it was served in the smallish hotel foyer so was a little cramped.
Great location near the main street, with private parking. Good size rooms with good facilities. The staff were very helpful. Good breakfast. We would come back.
Having to log into the wi-fi every time you used it, but a minor inconvenience
