Lorenzo and his staff are fabulous. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Lorenzo went above and beyond several times for us. Great location too, easy to find major attractions.

Florence Dream Domus was the best hotel we stayed in during our entire Europe trip. The location is fantastic, the place is quaint, art-deco and very chic, and a word of appreciation is due for the Manager's/ overseer's of the property, Mr. Lorenzo & Ms. Laura. We have never met such helpful, considerate or polite hotel staff ever, even in luxury hotels. They went out of their way to may our stay memorable! We strongly recommend the place.

No lift, so elderly people may have a bit of a problem climbing up, but the helpful staff are more than willing to assist. So that's hardly a deterrent

Perfekt location Quiet

We loved this place. The location cannot be beat. Lorenzo is a very gracious host and recommended a fabulous restaurant just steps away from the hotel. Be aware that there is no lift (not allowed because of the historic designation of the building) and you will have to climb stairs (2nd floor). It is very quiet, with high ceilings and beautiful architectural details. It's actually more of a B&B than a hotel.

Just remember, no lift.

Great location to see Florence. On the second piano so one needs to comfortable with climbing stairs. The staff was excellent and did much to make our stay pleasant.

Staying in this place it feels more that you are at a friend's home than in a hotel. A very good and rich friend that is.

The hotel was more of a guest house - a great find, excellent location, peaceful and relaxing.

The location was fantastic, walking distance to all the main attractions... Loyda at reception was very helpful with recommending restaurants and also booking them for us, and all the restaurants were great.

The shower was very small and the hot water wasn't constant, it would start off hot then go lukewarm, not nice when your on a winter holiday and you have to rush to get dry and warm, the hot water was on for a very short time maybe a minute. When I asked Loyda about this she wasn't sure why this was happening and thought maybe it was when other people were using the hot water at the same time, I thought maybe this was true as my husband did have hot water one time he had a shower for the whole duration. The location outweighs the problem of the hot water though.

It is an excellent location. Close to train stations and everything you want to see. The girl there, Lodia I believe is her name, she is a real sweetheart. She works very hard is is always gracious and kind and will make you a wonderful breakfast. She really helped for an enjoyable stay.

The one thing we did not like was that the mattress was very hard. I am one that does not complain about a lot of things when we travel because a) understand how hard it is to run a business, especially during high travel times, so we always try to be considerate and not to demanding. But I do have to say the mattress was uncomfortable. That is the ONLY thing I did not like. Other then that, its a wonderful place to stay!!!

The location was the best part. We were able to walk to all the main attractions. The staff were superb, very attentative and offered to help bring luggage up the two floors. Very cosy reception area and decor in the rooms.

No lift, but this was only a problem when arriving and departing with our luggage.

A staff member helped to carry the bags up the stairs. The girl in charge of breakfast was excellent. The hotel was very secure and we felt safe. It was very quiet and the location was close to everything.

Trying to find someone to let us in was a little difficult. The street numbers were confusing. We had to get a nearby shop keeper to phone them.

Changed our room, then charged us more money than we booked then 20 more euro when checking out.... Felt like I git ripped off....

The owner and her family are fantastic, they are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. It was some how quiet and nice although it was fully booked. The decoration, the bedding, the bathroom are all wonderful.

This is a delightful hotel, so beautiful and such nice, friendly and helpfull staff. Looking at a photos I was afraid it would be too good to be true, but our stay was perfect in every way. Great breakfast, too. We would love to come back.

The hotel was exactly what we expected an Italian hotel to look like, very stylish. A friendly atmosphere with very helpful staff. The location was excellent and would definately stay there again

The only negative was that there could have been a bit more choice for breakfast, but what we did have was nice

Good location, close to S.M.N. Train Station and Duomo. Girl at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Design is not ordinary, looks like the place really has a history with all old stuff as a decoration. Internet connection was free and has a good quality.

Old building, so there is not elevator that may cause problem for those who has big bagage (we didin't, so wasnt problem for us). Place smells odd (most probably because of all stuff used as decoration).

Very typical Italian and just what we wanted but with all the mod cons as well.

That it is on the second floor without a lift. Normally that would be ok but it was very very hot and a struggle everyday to climb the stairs.

We stayed in may, it was very cold and conditioner didn't blow warm air, strange design (but taste is different), no shelves, although we needed the bedclothes wasn't changed for four days

Very clean, good central location that is easy walk to all the important sites,nice atmosphere, sweet morning help.

a little on the expensive side vs the service you get .No staff around in afternoon and evening. But morning staff was wonderful and helpful.

The tenant of the hotel was very nice and very helpful. This hotel is very well located, the rooms are nice and quite, the breakfast is good.

There was a cigarette smoke smell in the bedroom but it was not too strong.

Florence Dream Domus is a wonderful place to stay while in Florence. The location is perfect, and the facility itself is clean and very friendly atmosphere. The location is a ten minute walk to the train station, and near a lot of shops, markets, and restaurants. I highly recommend this place to others!
