The two best things that this hotel provides are 1) value for money and 2) an excellent location. The rooms are comfortable (not small, not large) and the hotel is literally 1 minute walking distance of Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio. The bathrooms although very clean are quite small. Also, the hotel only replaces towels after every third day which we found to be very inconvenient.

Excellent location and value for money. The room was very clean and staff helpful and friedly. The only donwside was the noise, from neighbours and from works in the building. There seems to be no sound isolation between different rooms and appartments. Overall I woudl recommend the hotel, in particular for its location.

The location of this b&b is great, just off the Ponte Vecchio. However if you stay here, there is no reception, the reception is at their sister hotel across the street and well as the breakfasts. The rooms were clean, but the bathroom was miniscule and the decor could be a bit warmer. But the staff was great and the location good also.

Our room was much larger than expected. The bathroom was good, but water pressure took a while to build up in the shower. Once it did, it was strong. Hot water was plentiful. The shower stall itself was typically small, but worked well. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The air conditioning worked well and the room was very quiet when the windows were closed. Though across the street in La Scaletta, we took breakfast each day. The food was plentiful and decent with good coffee. The roof-top terrace was a highlight of our trip, providing stunning views of Firenze and the surrounding hills. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would return. The Wi-Fi service was spotty at Old Bridge, but fine at La Scaletta. Access to a pc was a plus.

Great location The hotel was disappointing and dI'di not live up to the photos on the internet. The 3 star classification is too generous and the hotel is not comparable to other 3 star hotels that we have used in Italy.

The convenience to all of the important locations in Florence (all are in walking distance). Room was sparse and clean. Air conditioning worked to keep the room comfortable. Elevator to the room which made lugging luggage easier. Staff had taxis and iron available within 5 minutes of request. No complaints here. Don't bother to purchase the breakfast at their sister hotel, La Scarletta. Just walk around the block and buy breakfast at the local grocery.

Excellent location, really close to Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti with plenty of nice restaurants and trendy shops in the neighbourhood. Comfortable, ample and cute room. Old-fashioned air conditioning did not work properly. Only change towels every three days. Weird extreme noise from some kind of machinery. Check- out at 10:30 am, a bit early for us.

the breakfast was very poor ... first come first served. at 8:40 there was very little to choose from... no water, one cartn of luke warm fruit juice .. bits of dried up bread ... etc the accomodation was in a low income apartment block, where we felt unsafe. the staff were totally customer unfriendly. very unsatisfactory.

The location cannot be beat. The hotel is about one block from Ponte Vecchio and one block from Pitti Palace - it couldn't be more convenient to all of the major attractions in Florence - everything is walking distance. The room was small but comfortable. The owners provide breakfast and happy hour on the rooftop of their hotel across the street, which has spectacular views of the city. It was the perfect place to stay and a great value too.

The hotel is the centre of Florence, the room was rather cosy. Good wi-fi connection. My room lacked another table and slippers (the floor is very cold).

Wonderful, 9

“The location was great - away from the main sites and crowds, but close enough to walk there in about 15 minutes on a pleasant, pedestrians-only street. Enrico, the owner, was very attentive. He gave us a map and showed us everything we needed to know about the sites and the transit system. He recommended restaurants that were tasty, inexpensive and away from the tourist area. The weather was so good that we walked everywhere from B&B Cimabue 9. The rooms are small and clean with adequate storage and lots of hot water.” Elizabeth, Dartmouth |

“The Villa is a really nice old building which was preserved during the years. inside the rooms there was old but really well preserved furniture which just added more charm to the place. The garden around the Villa is also marvelous. I can recommend and will definitely go back if I'm visiting Florence again.” Tihomir, Brno |
