The rooms were perfectly clean and tidy
I was able to hear every single word of our neighbors...
We put 'good' for location rather than 'excellent' as it is on the other side of the river and some people might prefer to be right in town. We deliberately chose that side of the river as it is quieter with good local restaurants and right at the Ponte Vecchio. The room was a good size with a small fridge, 2 chairs and desk along with the usual bedroom furniture. All was clean and quiet, we would surely stay there again.
The WiFi was a bit patchy. The second step inside the room often took me unawares.
excellent location, within walking distance of just about everything! We were upgraded to a superior room which was amazing, the fireplace and private balcony were the icing on the cake. Also loved the style of the room -deep yellow walls with funky paintings. I would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to florence :)
you have to check in across the street which isn't the most convenient fbut it wasn't really a big deal -they have a lovely terrace you can use.
Great location Quiet room Comfortable bed Friendly staff
No bath No tea and coffee making facilities in room Reception in another location ( not too far though!)
Bed is too soft, room smell like mold
location by Ponte Vecchio; rooftop patio where we could take our (self-service) breakfast tray
Room a little spartan, but adequate; need to understand these rooms are in a separate building across the street from the associated hotel (where reception and breakfast are located); we hiked with suitcases from train station - longer than it looked!
Great location near the Ponte Vecchio. Hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. Make sure to eat a meal on the terrace of the Hotel Scaletta, the view was amazing!
Location (perfect! Very convenient) Staff very friendly and helpful
Not so comfortable (smell in the bathroom, beds not so comfortable, no tea/coffee making facilities, lots of noise in the mornings and everytime someone in the building flushes the toilet...). Wifi connection very poor.
Location and service
Some noise that happened internally every 30 mins. Could not sleep! Also beds were hard as a rock!
The location is great, you can walk anywhere around and you're not too close to the train station/ city life so to speak. The staff were helpful with pointing out a few places we wanted to visit.
We foud it difficult to find the office which was accross the road, up some stairs of another hotel with no markings on the building that it was the florence old bridge office,
The location is excellent. The staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast on the terrace is a great way to star the day is this wonderful city
not far to walk for all attractions. Also Laura Christina and Edwardo at the hotel they were so helpful and went the extra mile and more in our hour of need so thank you all again
being mugged on our first day
Friendly staff - room basic but clean- good value for money and helpful friendly staff
Location Good wifi
Room a bit small painted in a awfull mustard colour Unacceptable bed Unacceptable bathroom A lot of noise from other rooms as well as from outside
Great location, helpful staff
Difficult to arrive by car
Breakfast ten euro each in the Scarlet Hotel is really worthwhile, good selection and great view. Very friendly staff. One of the best location to get away from the crowd. Remember, you have to do your checking in at Scarlet Hotel. The reception is on the 3 floor.
Excellent location, can walk to everywhere. Checkin is across the street in La Scarlette hotel and reception is on 3rd floor so you need to take bags and up and down in small lift to check in. Fridge in room.
Good for the price
Check out time too early 10:30h
We loved the fact that we were within walking distance of everything and yet were immune from the hustle and bustle of the city itself because of the air conditioning and the sound proof rooms. It was like living in an apartment. The dinner on the roof top of Hotel La Scaletta, the sister hotel was incredible! The views and the service and the food- recommend it as a finale to your stay in Florence.
this was not anywhere near as good as the photos. Turned out to be that this b&b was more of an annexe to a nearby hotel as it occupied about 5 rooms on the third floor of the building opposite. Water was cold in the bathroom and one evening it simply didn't work at all.
The staff were helpful and the location was fabulous - right at the Ponte Vechio. The room was fine and the building is quirky which makes it interesting.
The car park costs 30 euro per night and it is difficult to get there due to one way streets.
Close to everything. Nice room. If the wifi worked I would recommend it to other people. But it didn't.
Early check out at 10.30.. No wi-fi. And no reception. Had to cross the street to get there. And it was a bit difficult to find the check in. It was at the other hotel across the street. But still worth going there!
